Alex hasn't exactly had a good home life for 700 years so yeah... he's been too busy protecting his sister. I'm sure he'd love their mother too, but something tells me that Alex would like at the dad and be like "I have killed older things than you when I was still too young to understand what I was doing. This is also true. Even with Lia and Mitch having history it's still really innocent, and even with Kat and Atty being dark they're innocent too. I think it also has something to do with the circumstances.
