Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to my little multiverse story, Marvel Reborn. So, below are the rules for this RP.

Also, this is the OOC, so let's talk. If you have an idea, or need to say something out of the story, that is what this is for. Feel free to PM me if you want to keep those things private.

1) While this RP is "18+", stay within the rules of the site.
2) Do not post in the IC until I approve your character.
3) No overpowered characters.
4) As the GM, my word is law. With that being said, I may have another character do something, but it'll be small, for the narrative. I WILL NOT make another P.C. say something, or anything like that. If I do make a P.C. do something, it would be for the story. Character A notices something, Character B hears something, things like that. This does not give other players the right to take over another players character without permission.
5) Please make each post atleast a paragraph long. 3-4 lines is fine, unless you want to post longer.

So, with all that stuff out of the way, I'm sure you would like to hear the story, so here it is.

Civil War, the event that changed the world as we know it. What started out as a small battle between Cap and Stark, quickly got out of hand. No one could tell who was friend or foe, hero or villain. The war went on for years, and it ended at great cost. Doctor Doom had Spiderman, and most of New York, killed. Cap and Strak put their differences aside, able to hunt down Doom. Once this was done, heroes and villains went back into shadows. Some gave up their capes, going to live a normal life. Hell, some of the villains willingly went to prison, feeling horrible over the things they did during the war. So, why does this matter? Why are you reading this e-mail, letter, or text? Because the world needs its heroes again. While crime maybe on the rise once again, that's not the biggest threat. We have gotten word that something, or someone, is on its way to our planet. We don't know what it is, since the last being using this name has long died. All we know is that it is called "Planet Eater". We need you, hero or villain, to save our world. No one is forcing you to join us, you can go on and live your life as you do. But, of you are ready to stand up for something more than yourself, to show the world what you are really made of, then come to the pentagon and ask to speak with the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D, Col Steve Rogers.

So, you shall be taking up the mantel of an old hero or villain. You must use that hero/villains name, and have similar powers/abilities as them, but other than that, you have free range over your character's background. While you take up the mantel of the hero/villain, you don't have to be a copy of them. Below is the character sheet, please fill it out and post it in the C.S. section. Tag me in the post of your character so I know that it is done so I can look over of it and let you know if you are approved or need to change anything.

Well with three of us, I may start it and maybe people will join later on. I like your idea and it goes really well with an idea for my character.

Personally, I like either 1 or 2. Also, when I make character sheets, for this kind of RP I like using real pictures for your character, and then maybe a picture of the hero you are based off so we can get an idea of what your costume looks like, unless you have found a picture of what your costume looks like, if that makes sense. Is that ok with y'all?

I would be ok with that. I mostly just want y'all to use the same name and somewhat same abilities as the old hero. The boss of the team wants citizens to see and trust the team, like the old heroes. It'll be harder to gain trust if you are taking up the mantle of a villain.

You will gain their abilities. The person in charge of running the team will have you do something similar to what the original heroes did to gain their powers.

So if you play Cap, you will get a super solider serum. Spidey will get bitten by a radioactive spider, and so on.

Superhero RP?

So, I have recently seen "Suicide Squad" and I have been replaying "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" (parts one and two) and so I want to try a superhero RP. I want to set it in the Marvel universe (not the film version, so yes X-Men and Avengers will be in the same world), centered around a group of new heroes. I'll add a small bit about the plot below.

The story is that the earth's heroes are either dead or retired. But not to worry, as most of the villains are the same way as well. But now a new threat is rising, and S.H.I.E.L.D. needs to make new heroes based off the old ones. You will play as these new heroes, and the team will have to learn to work together as they get ready for this powerful threat, as the only clue they have is "Planet Eater".

So here is how the game shall work:
* I'm hoping to start with a small group, and then add more later on. If I can get three or more people interested, then I'll get it started.
* 18+, this is a marvel story, but it'll be kinda dark, like "Jessica Jones" and such. As always stick with the rules of the site.
* I ask that your post be atleast a paragraph or so. It can be longer, so don't worry about that.
* You will play as a character taking up the mantle of an old hero. Pretty much, you make the character, background and such, but you will use the name of a hero. Ex. Name: Sam Anderson/ Hero Name: Iron Man
* Last, and not least, you can play as a new version of a villain. You will still be on the team, but if you want to be the new "Green Goblin" or "Red Skull" that is fine.

So that's it. You can pick nearly any hero/villain you want from Marvel, as long as they are not overpowered. I will get the final say over who can play who, but I'll wait until I get an idea of who everyone wants to be before I make my character.

Also, you will have the powers of who you pick, and their weaknesses. If you play as "Venom" or another symbiont, you get their powers, but shall be weak to fire and super sonic sounds, as well as their other weaknesses.

Anyway, this is my idea. I hope to get it started soon. Thanks for reading this and hopefully showing interest.

He said and walked off to grab a drink. "A kingdom? Oh lord, what have I gotten into?" He mumbled to himself. "Well, atleast my new wife is nice."
