Then tourney winner gets 200 points for winning the whole thing.
I had sex with a dead gurl . . .
Each bracket winner gets 100, tournament winner gets 150 for winning the whole damn thing. . . lol

Excluding me I need to know who the top 8 are, and which of them will be in this so I can offer alternates a chance.
Mostly, I will make a firearm evaluation based on the firearm in question. There may be minor tweaks if anything for balance. Well that settles it then. Melon is in.
It would be marvelous if whoever takes charge of next month's tournament posts a required tier/power level for the participants' characters ASAP. While a lot of people here have a very diverse range of fighters, some (me included) will probably have to write a new one, so it'd be nice to have as much time as possible to polish the concepts and ideas behind them. It's just so much more better when one's abilities and powers are meant to work with each other, instead of being a mish-mash of related, but ultimately unfitting tools.

All Characters for the NoW –Rise of Darkness must fit in the following parameters for a low/mid-level powered character.

Examples of low-powered: A character with a mad scientist level genius and scientific intellect. Long ranged telepathy, magical powers that do not involve a divine patron, and the ability to shoot flaming bats with magic arrows of light without the aid of that damnable fairy partner. In general, the range of ability to be expected from a Jedi Padawan of Star Wars or a Genin Ninja of Naruto—as well as the use of cybernetics, alchemy, and so on to simulate any of that.

Examples of mid-level powered: The basics of nanotechnology capable of regenerating minor wounds, or alternatively wizardry or clerical ability capable of the same. You can pilot your own short-range starfighter and have access to technology so advanced as to be almost magical in nature. The ability to fly for any reason you can think of that makes any rudimentary amount of plot logic. Your character may have the reflexes and skills of an elite Jedi Knight, the speed of Saito Hajime, and the power to take down Trinity of The Matrix with ease.
It doesn't matter to me. If thus Tourney sets up a match for the year end tourney against Melon is fine with me. Like a fight get the right for a title shot.
Condensed: Win and keep winning. We are in the middle of the current fight season and Melon is the current leader on the leader board. There is a current tournament that provides victories but it is spotty at the moment. We are gearing up for the next tournament of the season, A Nexus of Worlds event.
I wish to test my skills, but am new to the site and unsure how to begin.

Join the ranked fighters at the Ranked HQ. Post a character and then challenge people to a fight. If you have questions after reading the Guild Rank HQ thread feel free to ask and you will get an answer by either Rilla or any of the fighters.
Alright, so this will be a Nexus of Worlds tournament- Darkness Rising. I will be posting rules on or around the 17th as per Rilla's time table.

This will be the prize for this event-

Let me know when I can start advertising and prepping for the tourney.
