Not my own words, but: "Enjoy memes and have a good time online, but develop a solid sense of self-worth that is rooted in a reality that doesn't disappear when the battery charge is empty."

I can't ban you for being a Battletech fan, but I can ban you for that obnoxious orange highlight render.
Well, I know I said I was going to be writing something up, but in truth, I don't really have anything solid to add on top of the current scene. Is our cast still around?
Sorry; I haven't been very inspired to get my feet wet in this. I'm not sure what sort of direction I wanted to go with my sheet and the RP's turn of events.
Things look to be slowing to a crawl, but I may be able to revise my work and get myself interested again, if others are still here.
Finished up my sheets! Here's a final look for pending acceptance. In contrast to most other regiments, mine is pretty mundane, with Eldanorré being the only notable magic-user. But it's through her force of will, their skill at arms and Luthien's generalship that they'll prevail!

Writing up Eldanorré's trusty second-in-command and then onto the regiment! I'm thinking a more traditional mix of medieval troops, drawn from desperate retainers and survivors of her kingdom's civil war. Battered and bruised, but never broken!
You can try, I don't know what kind of music it likes.
@vietmykeMakes sense to me; nobody would let her on without some kind of bargaining chip, and the information concerning these missions just might giver her the needed leverage.

That also works; I assume most machines operate the same basic way, with some deviations, but she'd probably feel more comfortable operating one she was familiar with, forgoing the Coalition mobile armor crash course.
@AristoYou can also just imagine how uneasy some Coalition might be fighting alongside a UEE spec ops machine, though I imagine that was sort of the point, wasn't it?

Pretty much; I wanted to play her as the wildcard nobody wants to trust but needs to, in order to get things done. She'd have to prove herself to the others, and overcoming the guilt of the gassing mission and her hatred of the UEE Command would be a significant part of her development.

As for the machine, I haven't really put a finger on how recently she'd gone rogue. My sheet says it's been a few months, but that can be shortened as needed. I think making her defection more immediate in the timeline would be a better way to introduce her - a sudden uneasy element on the team. Conflict makes a story, after all! Her machine certainly may have some wear from past action. Would it be too unfeasible to have her defect after the first few months of production? She'd need to plan her defection for some time, maybe a month or two following the gas incident. Then, right before the RP's start, it'd take time for her to present herself to Coalition authorities and go through their screening processes and receive her assignment.
Serah's words reached out to the creature, and for a moment, it looked perplexed. It distanced itself from the barbarian, all six eyes trained on Serah as it circled her. A long moment went by without incident, and it leaped up a nearby tree and reclined on an overhanging branch. Only then did it answer.

"I have not eaten in days!" it snarled. To anyone but Serah, the beast's speech was a jumble of grunts and hisses. To her, it was intelligible, though unlike any animal she'd heard in her frozen homeland, like an odd dialect.
"Prey is becoming exceedingly scarce. Nothing goes into the forest. Nothing comes out. I was hoping this one," he indicated his muzzle towards Zogolli, "would break my fast." Its voice came harsh and agitated to Serah, but there was some hint of sadness buried beneath it.
"I suppose he has you to thank for his well-being, Wildcaller. Else I would have dragged him off and eaten my fill. Maybe that one would be next," it shot a look at Robin.
"Feed me, and I will give you answers," it said thoughtfully, unless you plan to indulge my craving for man flesh." It shot Serah a wicked grin and looked at her expectantly.
I've been blessed with a wave of inspiration! I have a new concept I'd like to explore. Here is my champion, and the rest will come soon. I'll save the Azmar for another day.
