Not my own words, but: "Enjoy memes and have a good time online, but develop a solid sense of self-worth that is rooted in a reality that doesn't disappear when the battery charge is empty."

Trimming the fat
I'd like to ask about the story. So from the intro, it seems like most, if not all, of our characters will have been inducted into the Order as a last resort. I get that the Order has historically been a neutral, semi-religious organization and wants to make headway into Weirn. How do you see the plot moving forward? What exactly is it our characters will be doing?
I'm going to be withdrawing Hyrkos from the RP. In spite of the recent attention to the sheets, I've felt like the RP was trapped in a worldbuilding limbo without hope of making it to the IC. On top of that, I can't muster up any interest in the setting's patchwork of cultures and species. I'm moving forward with other projects and can't sit for this one to get rolling as well.

Good luck!
I'm afraid I'm officially pulling out. I say officially, because it felt like I'd already made my peace with the RP a while ago. Gauthier started away from the other PCs, which I was fine with as a way to get involved while a chance to unite with them presented itself.

However, it's been two months since the last IC post. The collab that Gauthier was to debut in started in November and it's screeched to a halt since I waited for a response in mid-December. I have other RPs on my plate that are moving forward and I can't feign interest and wait for this to do the same.
An observation I've had but haven't brought up is that the RP seems to put more emphasis on primordial gods than conceptual gods, at least with the way the beginning is structured.

Because the RP starts with the architect inviting a bunch of divine helpers to build the world, primordial portfolios like water, earth, sky, wind, life, fire, etc. would be valuable. Life, let alone *intelligent* life, has not existed outside of the gods themselves. So human concepts are much more flimsy in comparison. What need does a universe without humans have for a god of war, knowledge, agriculture, etc.?

Unless I'm mistaken, the RP assumes the gods all arrive at the same time and start doing whatever they will. In order for life to develop, there has to be certain conditions on Galbar - the establishment of which is the domain of the primordial gods. Until then, there is no need for a god of family or love, because the groundwork is still being laid out. What should be a multi-step process of worldbuilding is made awkward by only one wave of gods, who's portfolios include both the concrete and abstract. Yet the conditions for some gods to start their work will not be met for some time.
Aelius, caretaker of the solar sphere and god of virtue (as in Plato's four cardinal virtues) incoming.
I mentioned this to Crisps, but I'm considering a solar god. Not dissimilar to Apollo, with a multifaceted repertoire and heroic, virile feel.
@Crispy Octopus said I should check this out! I understand there's a reboot in the making?
I'd be interested in the story itself, although I'm a bit wary of tabletop mechanics in play-by-post RP. How prevalent do you imagine these rolls will be?
