Nice to see you guys on board! It'll probably be tomorrow before there's any sign of an OOC, bit busy and have another role-play to tend to. But it's coming. :)

*Sorry about the title, I couldn't think of anything. It won't be the name of the RP anyway can assure that much.
The idea is to have a teen role-play (aged between 15-17), based around teen debauchery. As someone born in the UK, watching American TV shows about teen life is really, really cringe worthy. It's never dark or raunchy enough and doesn't hit home hard on the hard topics that so many of us went through in our teenage lives (there's no denying it). Now, this is going to be a particularly dark teen life RP, R rated topics will include; drug & alcohol use, mental health awareness, bullying, teen violence, crime, sex, death and the list goes on, so if you're not comfortable with any of the above then I'm afraid this role-play isn't for you and you can stop reading right about now. For those still with me you may be thinking, who are we playing? and where? Our characters are from your typical council residency (or someone trying to fit in with that clique), attend a public mixed school. They're not all bad eggs, so don't feel like you have to play a delinquent but of course a role-play like this would expect to warrant a couple of characters with a high level of delinquency.
Life isn't all about school however, and a lot of you probably don't spend much time there anyway. This role-play isn't focusing on school it's the main reason I didn't include it in the genre tags. While there will be some things driven along by minor plot it very much remains in the background of this role-play and is more to simply move things along. The bulk of everything that happens in this role-play will be down to character interactions, choices and personalities. Everyone welcome to have their own character's plot and mixing with others, seeing how it changes things.
I could ramble on more but I feel like anything else to be said has been said before and were all teens once, right? Hope to see a few of you latch onto this and let's make a hell of a story together!
- As this role-play revolves around mature topics, all players must be 18+ to join, sorry younglings not going to go back on that one.
- I'm no grammar Nazi when it comes to other peoples writing, we all make mistakes and I know that but I do expect a decent level of writing and the ability to not fall into one liners or one paragraph posts that move the story nowhere.
- Any family members and such are obviously just played by yourselves unless you decide between yourselves otherwise.
- Don't really know how many players is enough so we'll wing it for now.
- All guild rules apply, I'm not big on making my own though other than the usual stuff.

Hey guys, sorry real life took over for a couple days aha! I'll post something either later or tomorrow, working on an idea for something else before I lose it (I know, take a page out of my own book and make a post)... If it is tomorrow instead of later I get a post up then sorry but, I'm sure you'll understand. :)
@Zorogami I don't mean to sound like an arse, it's just I shouldn't have to keep reminding people to post aha! So now we're just waiting on @MarsAdept to post. :)

@Zorogami For the sake of moving the story along, perhaps your character is awake as it is later? It's more so that people take the time to post elsewhere and not here than the fact it's slow but come on in two weeks? This is exceptionally slow.

@WilsonTurner Look, at the end of the day if you don't like it, leave? It's a location in a fantasy world mostly irrelevant to the story, so what? Nowadays everything is a cliche and everything is ripped from something else. There's only 12 original types of story. It's just a thing.
If the fact that there is an ancient burial grounds as a minor, unimportant detail irritates you so much, then don't partake. It is just fluff, the burial ground will most likely never be mentioned again so why get up in arms about it? The ancient burial grounds is just fluff, it's not an important location, the characters aren't going to visit it and the fact that it's an ancient burial grounds have nothing to do with the rising of the dead other than a means to have more of the fuckers around aha!
Finally, I've read enough fantasy and looked into enough world building to be of the opinion that, a hell of a lot of it is actually just fluff.
EDIT: You've not finished off the CS properly, barely participate and have seemingly little to no interest yet you're giving me shit? Come on, man.

Trust me when I say I understand as much as any one else about real life taking precedent (regardless of whether or not we want it to) and everything else (I'm terrible for taking hiatus'), but if you're making time for other RPs and not this one please let me know so I can recruit again. Otherwise looking forward to reading your posts.

Well, the reason behind the undead in the town is a very, very big turn-off. I mean, how much more cliche and unoriginal can you get with undead and an ancient burial ground? I mean, really?
Aha! The ancient burial ground was just something I threw in to fill out the fluff. It's not the reason for the undead rising, but yes of course they will be rising from there as well as the cemetery. The reason for the undead rising may or may not be linked to pestilence spreading but I haven't decided yet.
So in answer to that Jumping to conclusions can make you look silly! Also the undead remember aren't the biggest threat but something to start us off other than "Let's band together strangers and hunt beasts together".
