I think I've developed arthritis recently. I should probably invest in a better mouse pad or something.

@Double@SMS, I will wait for @Nightknight, then I'll start the IC.

Edit: Also, I'm going to go with a small group instead of a large one.

Sure thing, I'm excited to get this started.
Character

Name: Mai Tenkawa

Age: 19

Bio: Having been born just a few years after the Heartless and Nobodies appeared, life wasn't exactly easy. Mai's father was a part of the New Shinsengumi, and her family needed someone to succeed him should he fall in battle. Being the only offspring of her parents, she was raised and trained in the ways of the blade. Her dexterity proved to be a challenge at first, as being a southpaw in a group of orthodoxes meant that everyone would have to adjust for her, and her to them as well whenever they would spar or be partnered together. While she never neglected her studies and duty, her only wish was to be able to travel the world on her own.

One day after finishing her duties, the city her family was living in was suddenly invaded by a horde of Nobodies. Although she was told to preserve her strength and help with the injured, the sight of her father being wounded in battle sprung her into action. With a quick swing of her blade, the Nobody that had injured her father disappeared into nothingness. What she had in hand however, was no longer the blade that she had been practicing with, but rather, a Keyblade. No one knew what it actually was, but it was capable of defeating the Nobodies and Heartless that had been plaguing them with moderate-to-little effort.

Shortly after, Mai was frequently brought out into the fray due to her ability to combat the Heartless and Nobodies more easily thanks to her newfound weapon. Although her parents were against it due to her young age, they couldn't deny Mai's will to help however she could to deal with the threats that frequently popped up.

Despite her best efforts, sometimes her best wasn't enough. At times, the amount of casualties and even comrades of hers to fall were high. Being the only one who could properly combat both the Nobodies and Heartless, her constant fighting for over four years has been taking a toll onto her body. Although it doesn't come up often, Mai has started having an unconscious fear that one day, her body would break down and no longer be able to fight and move.

Personality: Upbeat, energetic, and very easily excited, she is always eager to meet new people and learn new things. She is also very loyal to her family, knowing nothing but their own teachings and lifestyle across the years. Aromatic food and sweets will almost always guarantee her attention, and she has a soft spot for children. In battle, she drops her cheerful demeanor in favor of a more serious and calculating approach. While she is no master at strategy, she is a demon in duels.

Skills: Being an adept in the ways of the blade, Mai is very good at Sword-based skills, however, she knows little-to-no magic. But she does have the capacity to learn them should she have a capable mentor to teach them to her.

World

Name: Alternate!Post-World War II

Summary of History: After the unconditional surrender by Japan, they experienced political and social transformation under the Allied occupation. The occupation sought to decentralize power in Japan by breaking up the zaibatsu, transferring ownership of agricultural land from landlords to tenant farmers, and promoting labor unionism. Other major goals were the demilitarization and democratization of Japan's government and society. For the most part, this was successful.

However, the Heartless and Nobodies have begun to appear across the land. With modern weapons being out of their grasp, the Japanese sought to try and fight back using their old ways: With the way of the sword. The Japanese established the New Shinsengumi, a special police force of sword-bearing individuals whose purpose is to protect the innocent from the new threats that have appeared.

Important Nations: Japan, the United States of America, the Soviet Union, France, China, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Australia, Greece, Norway, and Germany.

Overall Technology Level: Low.
@Letter Bee Thanks, I'll put her in the character page.
My apologies for taking so long with submitting my chara sheet. I fell asleep on my computer desk when I got home last night and realized that I haven't worked on the world sheet yet when I woke up.

My apologies if the world sheet feels a little... rushed? I sorta wanted my character's appearance to make sense with the world I chose, so I ended up making a bit of research on possible timelines for her, and went with what I have on there. I can go back and rewrite it if it isn't sufficient.
Oh, the OOC is up. I'll submit my character sheet when I get home from class.
Color me interested.
And I'm free from school stuff for a long while. I'll probably be more active from now on.
"There she goes again with her awkwardness..." Elisha couldn't help but smile a bit. "Hopefully she won't need to rely on alcohol so that we can speak more properly in the future."

"I'd like some of that fix up, thank you." Anything that'll help lower the hangover Cecelia mentioned is a good thing for her... perhaps. All she was hoping is that it won't be icky or disgusting to take in.

"I don't mind." Might be the remnants of the alcohol speaking, but she replied to Cecelia's offer with a straight face. Perhaps also missing the possible implications it might raise. Or she was just tired and just wanted to sleep.

Shortly afterwards, Cecelia led her to one of the double rooms. Once inside, Elisha was too tired to take note of the details in the room and just crashed onto the nearest bed she saw, looking rather clumsy in the process. It didn't take more than a few moments for her to start sleeping.
I've been super busy, I'm so sorry ;_;

I'll try to get a post up by tonight / tomorrow night before I probably will disappear until Monday evening (which is when I'll be free from school stuff).
Cecelia had walked up to Elisha as she was still giggling about the new guy's funny entrance. "Yes, I am alright now, Miss Cecelia. My heart had suddenly started acting up, but it's stopped doing that now." She couldn't resist not adding in another line. "And yes, Louis' gesture was really bad." She had started giggling a little more at the thought, but she felt weird at the part that Cecelia was calling her 'sweetie'.

"Miss Cecelia... please just call me..." A pause. She thought about it for a moment before continuing. "...Eli." She felt satisfied at the nickname. 'Elisha' felt too formal and reminded her too much of her family, while 'Elle' was something that her parents just used to call her because they found it to be more convenient.
