Reese would make sure to try and help everyone after this whole ordeal was over, right now though he had to try and help Eden, though he still wasn't sure if she was alright or not, if Chase knew her, than she couldn't have been all bad, regardless of their prior interactions with each other, the only thing important right now was to try and get away from whatever that thing was, noticing how it wasn't really a Deathclaw once it was a little closer, still, better to get away and then ask questions later.

The bandit leader continued to swing at her, his encumbering size though made it difficult to hit her, even if some of the blows did connect, they'd graze at the very least. He was getting tired of her jumping all over the place, however he was curious what that stuff was that was on him, he didn't know the substance but it wasn't harming him it seemed, so he'd ignore it for the time being, though when she jumped on him and thrust-ed her blade into his shoulder, he couldn't help but let out a grunt, he could take cuts and even small gun shots, but blades going in fairly deep to his body, even he'd react to that.

“When I get you girly, you'll wish I had killed you quickly!” He shouted, the look of a beast in his eyes as he pulled back for a stronger punch than he usually threw because anger was starting to take over, he was sure it'd hit her and if it did, he doubted she'd be able to get up. Though before the attack could make contact with her, Reese dove in front of the attack, using his rifle as a base to absorb the attack which made a small dent in the body of the gun, but better that then it hitting her, though the postion of the block changed slightly as he felt pressure on his wound as his injured muscle tried to hold back the bandit leader.

“Hey, looked like you could use a little help.” Reese chuckled a little with a wince as he looked back at her and then back at the leader who's fist was still pressing against the gun.

“So you know her? Well it will be equally fun to watch you be helpless as I kill her and then you.” The leader growled.

“Nah, I don't know her, but I would never leave anyone to face a tower like you.” He continued to grin and chuckled a little.

The leader obviously didn't like that and then used his free hand to slam his fist into Reese's gut, a wince and partially wheeze escaping as he felt the impact, his block lowering just enough to be hit in the head which sent him skidding into a nearby wall of a shop. Though it didn't keep him down, he was a little shaky getting up as a small amount of blood trickled down his head, his left eye not being able to open as well as him having shallow breathes.

“You can keep thrashing me around all you like, I won't let you harm anyone.” He panted, feeling that since he was why they were here, it should be his fight, even if it killed him, he could at least give her the chance to run away.

The leader chuckled but not out of amusement, no it was pure rage, a beast hidden in everyone, even if they refused to admit it was there and then said to him, “Well still won't change a thing, I'll crush her just to see it anguish you and then I'll kill you myself.”

Reese went over between Eden and the bandit leader and said to her, “Perhaps you should run, he's not after you, he's after me, no sense in getting yourself hurt on my behalf.” He chuckled, only because he didn't see how things were going to end well, two bandit groups plus a strange beast he'd never seen before approaching, he didn't know how he as well as the town would get out of this.
@Gurren1 I'm going to get one last post out as well and then wait if that's alright, just don't want to forget it. :P
Didn't see the OOC when I just posted, will edit mine when it gets changed to something else.

Reese glanced over at Chase when he spoke to him and then over towards a figure in the distance and his eyes widened, he had seen images of Deathclaws but none up close, though he knew how dangerous they were, it'd be difficult to take it down and almost impossible alone, he had to make sure that the others in the town got to safety, though he didn't know how much time it would take, he would try and get people to message each other to get to safety.

He soon set out, telling people to go and hide that there were dangers as well as tell anyone they came across to hide as well, as much as he would want to go to each section of the town to tell people to run, he just couldn't, not with so much chaos going on, it'd be just his lucky really. “Perhaps it would've been better to either be captured or killed, at least the town wouldn't be in danger then.” He spoke to himself quietly before shaking his head as he started to make his way back towards where Eden was, he couldn't think like that, not with so many threats going on.

He soon spotted where Eden was, getting ready to head to her when Ral and Liv along with the other bandits with them managed to stop him, pointing their guns at him, “Well well, looks like the doctor fella' couldn't resist seeing us.” Ral grinned though Reese wasn't looking too pleased, these guys were easy for him, but them wasting his time wasn't something he was going to allow.

“Aw don't look so upset, some of us is just better than you's.” He continued to taunt more.

“Look I don't have time to deal with you petty thugs, there are more dangers happening than you, so get out of my way.” Reese responded more aggressively, normally he's calm and collected, but with the danger of another gang to cause extra headaches and a Deathclaw trying to get to the woman calling for it, he couldn't be calm or nice about it.

“Ah but we still owe you and the boss wants you, so we aims to please.” He chuckled, unaware of the threat that was getting much closer than they thought.

“Look over there! You see that thing?! It will kill anything in its way to get where it's going, I'm not dealing with you.” Reese continued to speak in a rushed and angry tone.

Ral and the other glanced over at where he mentioned, they all froze seeing the Deathclaw, some getting ready to run, until Ral said, “You all stay here, the boss will be done with this trash and then we'll leave before that thing wrecks the town, now-” He spoke before being interrupted by Reese who had taken the time to get his rifle off his back and then was hit in the face with the butt of the gun, giving Reese the opportunity to slip past them, two of the bandits with the other four including Liv and Ral taking the opportunity to run, a Deathclaw was no joke.

The bandit leader may have been fairly fast on his feet but when it came to how large and bulky he was, his attacks were a little slower, though they definitely held a lot of power. Feeling her blade slash at him as he was too slow to defend but since his body was so tough and only slightly smaller than a Super Mutant's, the cuts didn't bother him too much, though just cause he was strong didn't mean he was invincible, even he knew these cuts would start taking their toll on him if he kept getting cut too much.

“Okay girly, I've had enough of you.” He growled, watching her movements, eventually feeling like he had an opening and threw a heavy punch at her, just like he did Reese, if it connected, it would surely do a decent amount of damage and send her skidding back quite a few feet.

Reese saw the fighting going, he knew he had to hurry and at least try to assist her, then get to safety somewhere and wait out the Deathclaw or try to kill it, the latter being something he didn't want to do, it was a damn Deathclaw, though it would be interesting, he heard stories of even power armor users having difficulty killing one of those things, sometimes even being killed themselves.
@CloseEnough Alright, sounds good, look forward to this. :)
@Gurren1Mostly two gangs have started to attack Davenport, sort of a small war going on, hoping to collide the two gangs into each other to fight also potentially a creature/monster attacking as well, but I don't know exactly what @CloseEnough has planned with that, but it should make the town interaction even more exciting with the current interactions going on.
@CloseEnough Yeah, that could be fun, was thinking (if my post isn't wrong with anything that happened) that he hears Eden fighting and then goes back to help her and some cool opposite dynamics could happen. :)

Reese had been surprised she managed to slip him, quickly blocking her attack though not without causing some stress on his already injured shoulder, he had been worried about this, before he had been running on adrenaline and whilst that had at least distracted him from the pain, it didn't really fade, he was only just now actually feeling it starting to calm down a little.

He was ready to pull his knife out when he heard too heard the same roar she did, glancing up at the sky, trying to pinpoint it before glancing back at her when she spoke, he noticed her glare, though he wouldn't let it intimidate him. He was about to ask who she was when she started to run, but he realized he couldn't waste any more time with her, they had just scoped each other out for the most part, right now he had to get to the weapon's shop and help the others, though he was also curious about what the sound was that he heard.

Shaking his head head he grabbed his rifle, slung it on his back and then started to run, hearing a shot ring out nearby where he was, he quickly started making his way towards the shop, using more alleys and the such until he was nearly there, now all he had to do was get somewhere high and preferably far enough away for him to use his gun, though the distance he could manage, he preferred to not be so close.

The bandit's and their leader heard a loud roar in the distance, they too glanced around the town for a moment, unsure of what that sound was, though they knew it wasn't something good.

“B-Boss, what was that?” Ral asked, looking a little worried as the fighting temporarily ceased with people in cover, trying to discern the sound that they heard.

“Doesn't matter, we just need to fin-” He stopped mid sentence, feeling a pinch as a bullet dug into his shoulder, though he didn't seem to be bothered by it and begun to look around to see who it was that shot him, eventually seeing the slight shimmer of the scope, he pointed to the building, “We need to find that fool, but first, I'll take care of the pest that was that was unfortunate enough to injure me.” He growled, getting the shield from one of his bandit comrades again after they had picked it up previously.

He extended it once more, the length of it blocking most of his body once more, the only thing being able to be shot were parts of his arms and legs, though they'd be grazes at the very best if he was shot at again and began to charge towards the building the woman was on, he wouldn't let anyone injure him and get away with it. Though his camp was currently small near Davenport, his gang owned that territory and he would show what that means, though his was big and his footsteps were rather heavy, he did manage to make good speed and was gradually closing the distance between the two of them, once he was close enough, he'd throw the shield away and use his fits to deal with her.

“Wow, didn't think anyone would actually hit the boss, been a long time since that's happened.” Liv chuckled a little.

“Yeah, but I think he likes when it happens, someone like that might give him a challenge, though perhaps he's just settling for whoever it is, though he won't see, it's clear he was impressed with that doctor.” Ral responded.

“The one he shot out of the air? Yeah I have to say, even with a smaller gun that would be difficult, but we can't sit around here having a shoot out, not to mention whatever that thing is we heard, we need to get to that guy and hold him for the boss,” She answered back to Ral and then looked to the other bandits that were still with them, “Two of you stay here and handle these guys, we're going to continue to head down this way, it's the last place he was headed.” She spoke and then she along with Ral and four other bandits started to head in the last direction Reese was going.
@CloseEnough@Crossfire

Reese had been surprised when someone behind him had swung a blade just above his head and managed to get him pinned up against a nearby wall, he thought he had been careful but apparently not, she looked a little similar to a bandit, at least to him, but then again a lot of people in the wastes dressed like that, so it wouldn't be fair of him to judge her like that, though in current circumstances, he was going to get the upper hand back first and then get some information.

He noticed she tried getting him to drop his weapon which he carefully did against the wall he was pinned up against, he had no idea who she was, but she was clearly a threat to him at the moment and he didn't really have the time to be dealing with her, not when the bandits were after him, perhaps she was with the other group of people attack, but he had to make a move now, it was going to be risky but he had to do it.

With a quick motion he went to grab her and with the blade and then slam his elbow into her side to try and recoil her a little and then twist and pin her right arm up into her back, unless she had any kind of military training, he was sure he could get her with this maneuver, he knew a few other tricks as to immobilize people, though he hoped he wouldn't need to use them.

“Quickly, spread out and find him!” The bandit leader shouted as he and his thugs looked around the area.

Two travelers that had been passing through when they heard the commotion drew their weapons, starting to fire upon the bandits that were searching the area, a small gun fight erupting between them and three other bandits, no doubt other towns people were going to either hide or try and fight the intruders in their home.

“Incoming!” Ral shouted as he and Liv got behind cover, “Nothing like a shoot out to get the blood flowing before a kill, huh?” Ral grinned excitedly as he poked out of cover, shooting at the two travelers firing at them.

“Just don't mess up anymore, remember why were really here.” Liv spoke loudly to him, trying to get here voice over the sound of gun fire, it was like a small war-zone at the moment.

“You just make sure you stay alive, I mean you did get taken down by just a knife last time.” He chuckled, firing once more at the two people shooting at them, managing to hit the man in the shoulder.

Liv just giving him a glancing glare said, “Yeah well at least I didn't foolishly chuck a nade at a man who could clearly do what he did.” Soon she too started firing again upon anyone that dared tried to fight them, they weren't after them, though that didn't mean they were opposed to killing anyone who get in their way.
@CloseEnough @Crossfire

Reese quickly grabbed his rifle, loading a magazine into the gun and then readied a bulled into the chamber, aiming down the scope he saw some figures in the distance, he started to fire a few shots near them, hoping to scare them off, he didn't want to kill them but would if he had too. No doubt at the current moment, his morality was probably being more of a liability than an asset but he couldn't just abandon who he currently was just to defeat an enemy.

“Look, just go on ahead back to the shop, I'll try and scare a few of them off here, if the rest of them keep coming, I'll lead them back to the shop and hopefully they'll fight each other. If you see anyone injured, bring them there or somewhere close-by, I'll try to treat them, I'm a doctor of sorts.” Reese responded, not really too focused on the man that had saved the woman, though he did notice him, as long as he wasn't being shot at by him, he'd ask questions later.

He saw a few bandits starting to go from cover to cover, trying to avoid being shot by his rifle, he couldn't stay here much longer, his rifle was tuned for medium to long range, they were starting to get so close to where the magnification of the rifle would be a hindrance, though he had to try and make sure everyone in the area of the town he was in had escaped, two groups of people wasn't something he wanted to take on, but he'd at least try to help.

“Whoa!” Ral exclaimed as some shots narrowly missed him, a few of the bandits behind him on the left he was on, the others were on the right with Liv.

“Boss, be careful, looks like that runt got his rifle back.” Ral shouted to the leader who took a little cover himself, he may have been strong and large, but he wasn't so foolish as to charge at someone with a rifle.

“Get Sheila.” Was all the large thug said to Ral, quickly the word passing down until they came running with with a square piece of metal, the size of the man's chest, Reese having stopped his firing for a short time, curious as to what they were doing.

“Now you're gonna get it!” Ral shouted with a grin, eager to see his boss use what hadn't failed them before yet.

The bandit leader then strapped it onto his him, thrusting it forward and then the spring loaded locks disengaged, more metal pieces unfolding out of what was a fairly substantial piece of metal. Eventually when all the pieces were done, what looked like a large sheet of metal was strapped to his arm, Reese didn't like the look of that, it could easily protect most of his body or the man's comrades but on the bandit leader himself, it just covered the majority of his torso, save for a bit around his arms and legs.

Quickly the leader started to charge with the shield, Reese, once again firing at him again, the shots either bouncing off the shield or piercing areas where the bandit was either grazed or not hit at all. He suddenly heard multiple clicks from his gun, indicating that he was out of ammo in that magazine, he quickly ejected it, ready to go into his bag for another when the man had rammed him with the shield, Reese only managing to brace it by seconds with his gun pressed up against the metal before an extra shove sent him skidding against the ground.

“Course they would have him as a leader, makes sense I don't get the easy ones.” He spoke to himself under his breath with a smirk, though he didn't find it funny, he knew his only course of action, he had to try and lead them to the gun shop where the other group of thugs were at.

“You'll not get past Sheila, she's a tried and tested ally.” The bandit grinned to the injured Reese who slowly got to his feet.

“Yeah...I can see that, how about you guys just leave, last chance, don't make this town suffer for a vendetta that doesn't need to exist.” Reese responded in shallow breathes.

“You will be hunted until I get to feel your skull crack underneath my boot.” He growled back, Reese not showing it, though he was nervous, the man looked like he had the strength to do it.

Reese slowly reached into his bag, slipping out another magazine and then slammed it into his gun, getting ready to fire at the man whilst hopefully being able to retreat. Unfortunately before he was able to, Ral thought he'd be helpful for his leader and said, “Here doctor fella', save yourself from this!” Throwing a live grenade at him, this was Reese's only chance, he knew he could and had to do it.

“No! You fool!” The bandit leader shouted as Reese quickly took aim at the object in the air, firing a shot before it landed, exploding the grenade prematurely, sending up a cloud of smoke and dirt, Reese having been knocked down by the concussion of the explosive. He quickly got up and then started to run for the shop, only hope now was that he could get there and the two groups would be distracted with each other instead.

The leader got up after having been unprepared for the explosion, tossing his shield to the side, “After we get him, you best pray I'm still not mad enough to want to crack your bones too Ral, got it? Now get the others and follow, I'm going on ahead after him.” The leader starting to charge in the direction Reese went.

“R-Right boss.” Ral spoke nervously.

“Best watch it Ral, boss might not favor you anymore you keep disappoint him.” Liv taunted as she and the other bandits started to run behind their leader.

“Shut it Liv or I'll take care of you right 'ere and now.” He growled as he started to run with the rest of the group.

Reese glanced over his shoulder seeing the leader not too far behind as well as the other bandits behind him, he wish he could move a little faster, but his injuries and fatigue were starting to get to him, but he wouldn't give up. He started to see the shop as the distance closed, though he was sure the bandits were too far behind him, though he didn't dare look back a second time, he was sure that if he did he wouldn't like what he saw and would no doubt make a mistake and get caught by them.

He quickly went between some buildings, in and out of different alleyways try to at least avoid a few of them, for the time being it seemed he had lost them, though his back was turned as he was slowly walking backwards, trying to make sure where he just came from didn't have any additional bandits following him, unaware he was about to bump into the brown haired woman that was Aurora's sister.
