Well if I'm not getting up at 3 a.m. lifting packages now, may as well do something easier for at least an hour a day. Hardest part is the heat right now.

Like I said, it was just hard to put things into words. I know they should be fun but god I fear redundancy a ton.
It's warm but I'm trying to be more active. And yeah school stuff kills my buzz :C but writing three posts is hard, I just feel like I lose creativity as time goes on, but it may just be because I went from plenty of stuff to say to almost nothing to say, especially in the case of the last post I did >.>''
Liberating. Just gotta get school shit taken care of first. About to go on another walk. Already walked like four miles this morning before posting.
Agreeing to disagree then.

This was the first one I posted in, don't know about your other partners.
Okay so this post sucked but I'm getting back into it, so it'll be rough for a bit. I had some difficulty making the transition from the trio entering the police station, and I didn't want to linger too long because if I did I would have never completed it. So if I missed anything I'm sorry, can you pleeeeeease make the transition for me? I'd really appreciate it~

Jesus that's basically a post. But what exactly stops Korra from being like Pema in that scenario, what with Tenzin in a relationship and then she comes in and, you know, shows herself as a valuable part of the puzzle. I like the sound of independent Pema, but what separates Korra from being a younger version of herself with this?

OH JUST WAIT, OPAL'S THAT GIRL THAT JUST SHITS ON BOLIN NO MATTER WHAT HE DOES AND SHE'S SUPER LAME ALL THE TIME. LOL.

Don't count those chickens Gen :X
"What could be more unifying than pro-bending?" Korra looked from Bolin to Mako, the latter shrugging in equal uncertainty. Pro-bending was an event both benders and non-benders could come together and enjoy, and was one of the most popular things in Republic City. Uniting the city in any other form would be just as ideal, but after the events related to the Equalist movement there may be tension between both parties. Secret supporters of Amon would likely still be out there no matter the revelation of his actual status as a bender. He still stood for something, and while exposure as a fraud would cripple his movement he would no doubt pose a threat should he have returned. Leaving them to mull over what could be used other than the phenomenon of pro-bending, the trio had set out shortly together with Naga and took time to process the city's state, as well as the improvements being made. People were already banding together to help clean up what debris they could and some of the shops they passed would be up and running again in no time, something Bolin was quick to point out, especially with meat skewers being in mind.

"We'll get around to those, count on it." Korra pat Naga on the head, knowing she was salivating a little at the mention of said skewers.

Mako let out a small chuckle and came around Korra to place both hands on his brother's shoulders. "Just don't let the role of law enforcing get to your head, little brother. I remember when you wanted to play cop as a kid, and you put sticky notes on everything that looked out of place. Fake fines."

"What?" Korra laughed, "Little Bolin played officer, huh?"

"He played a lot more than officer. If you ask me, Bolin should be acting in stage plays!"

"I could see that, but I could also see him being the most dangerous cop since Lin was born." Korra joked, imagining Lin as a toddler with that same scowl on her face metalwhipping criminals into submission. She didn't know much of the woman's career, but you didn't become Chief being a passive buffoon. At least not in this city. "What if he was made Chief?"

"Chief Bolin?" Mako mused aloud, imagining his brother as hardened as Lin. He shuddered immediately. "I could see it, but if that were to ever happen, just promise me you'll keep your sense of humor bro."

Korra and Mako wanted to know Bolin's own expectations as far as his future, as well as his ability to become the chief in place of Lin in the future.

Lin.

Relaxation.

Two words, complete opposites, rarely can they be put together in the same sentence without confusion and curiosity. Lin's job brought stress. Lin and stress. Two words that could come together perfectly well. There was also enforcement, resistance, stubbornness, and ...cute. Behind all the strength and vigor that Lin carried with her each and every day, the qualities of an adorable Beifong were resting within her. The world could never know that the Chief of Police in Republic City actually had moments of intense sweetness in the past. She baked for him once, Tenzin looked back in his mind, and he recalled the sweet taste of her sugary treats. Yet what was even sweeter than the actual goods was the gesture itself. It was before they admit to themselves that attraction was undeniable, a necessity to continue their day to day lives. Lin knew love and had it in her heart. In the presence of a dear friend with a new, stronger outlook of the life he was living, Tenzin was becoming more and more elated. His fingers repeatedly tapped onto the cup he held, a warm smile idle but beaming as Lin spoke. Lin may not have preferred sugar, but she was undeniably sweet within, sweeter than any good on the face of this earth.

He could see that embarrassed blush now, years and years ago...

"Yes, but I don't intend for her to be alone forever. Jinora will be a big help, as she's always been, and I can come home and take over when necessary." Tenzin responded, taking another sip of the strong espresso and exhaling quite audibly. A small tingle went down his spine, resulting in him laughing a little to himself in glee. He should have tried this stuff years ago!

The item of question on her desk was alluded to nothing dedicated to pride, but instead a fond memory. Were Tenzin younger he might have begun to pry, or at least if he had a few drinks in him. Instead the airbender had nodded just once before not pressing the issue any further. It was only in his interest to spark continued conversation of mutual interest, and lingering on something she did not wish to remain speaking of was the last thing he wanted to do. Finishing his cinnamon roll and politely accepting the napkin handed to him, Lin proceeded to discuss the idea of getting out on the town.

"A long time? It has been, family does that to you," Tenzin removed his gaze on Lin and took a few steps forward, staring off into nothingness just ahead of himself. "but I don't think I'd trade it. The days of my youth are very much behind me. I won't forget how much trouble we got in as children, I think Meelo and Ikki get their mischief from me." Tenzin chuckled loudly, recalling the amount of pranks he loved to pull. The wisdom and maturity he displayed now was quite the change from the lack of care he had in his younger years. Irony of his status as the son of the previous Avatar, Aang, was that he wanted to be more than a symbol at the time. Rebelling with Lin when they were younger and forgetting that they were the children of heroes known across the world, just for a day, was the greatest reward he could have in those times. "Eventually our lives took shape. You, a great keeper of the peace, and myself ..." Tenzin looked down at himself, wondering what he could possibly say. He was no legend. He was simply an airbender, one of the last in the world, who was meant to lead the way for his children to understand their place in the world. Traditions to be kept and techniques to pass down, otherwise maintaining Republic City was the objective he's held for much of his life.

"What would you call me? A stick in the mud, like when we were younger?" Tenzin returned his eyes to Lin, smiling in amusement.
I approve of said post :3

Lee was not pushy about his love. He made it obvious he was attracted to Sakura, but never forced his affections on her. The most he did was wink some hearts at her, but never overstepped his boundaries and respected her, much more than Sasuke's ever done. Sorry, that kind of triggered me lol. Anyway as you read from the post, I've got some sparring in mind at a nearby body of water, and offered a little more seriousness to the situation with Taro's kekkei genkai.
Kakashi gave Sakura a thumbs up to reply to her call of watching his back. His expectations were high and he was certain that Sakura's were as well. Once five minutes of nothing had passed and he had pulled farther and farther ahead, he pulled back on speed and did as he mentioned earlier. Allowing Sakura a better opportunity to launch an attack every five minutes was a fair handicap from his perspective. Five minutes had soon become ten, then fifteen, until finally twenty minutes had gone by. Preparing to pull back on his speed yet again to give Sakura a strong opening, he looked over his shoulder in time to see that she was increasing her pace to race towards him, chakra fueling the leaps she made across the strong branches of the dense forest. He could make out a build-up of chakra at her fingertip, and once she had taken aim towards his head her teacher had let out a small huff of amusement. The beam launched towards him, prompting him to casually side-step the attempt and allow it to collide with a tree just ahead of them. Another glance behind him had shown him Sakura's glare in full display. Understandable considering the frustrating circumstances she was in, but he wasn't about to encourage her efforts just yet.

Becoming a much more mobile target from that point forward, Sakura's efforts would need to be doubled in order to land a blow of significance. In eleven more minutes, merely one minute after he had reset his position to allow her a better opportunity to strike, she had taken another shot at him. Avoiding the blow was as simple as jumping higher than her shot. Another miss, only to collide with another tree just ahead of him. He landed and once more looked over his shoulder to read the state of her mind. She appeared upset, almost angry at him for what he was doing. Training did not come easy, and Tsunade would not be any easier than he was being right now. The emphasis of her frustration was placed in the tone of her words towards him. Sakura did not offend him, instead just made it clear to the Copy Ninja that she was being affected. The lack of immediate progress was shaking her. This wasn't about performing handsigns and avoiding his dogs any further, and that was something she would need to accept in an instant. She could not excel in everything, and without Naruto and Sasuke around to measure herself against she could not raise herself higher than anyone else like last time. The only person she could blame was herself, and the only person that was bearing witness to her efforts was her teacher.

"Thank you. You're quite good at missing," Kakashi teased with a wink, "despite being my precious student." Facing forward again, he held hopes that she'd use that for encouragement rather than discouragement. Hours of this had gone on, with her time at gathering chakra improving, but her progress at hitting him still shaky at best. Striking a jonin-level opponent wasn't designed to be easy with her level of skills and inexperience. This was a test of handling two tasks at a single time. Hitting him was not her ultimate goal, nor was it his. If she could gather that chakra to the tip of her finger and release it without even thinking about it, she would pass his test. The idea of hitting him was just her ultimate goal, and that was something he didn't think she could accomplish until she was a jonin herself. After enough time had gone on, he signaled for her to stop and stopped at a nearby clearing, clapping his hands together. "How about we take a break and eat?"

No argument from Sakura, as expected.

Retrieving the lunches she had packed, Kakashi had set down his pack and retrieved a map of the Land of Fire. He had known the country like the back of his hand due to countless missions related to securing it during the last war, but what he was looking for in particular was a large body of water necessary for Sakura to continue her training. She had come up behind him to question how far they've gone since leaving Konoha.

"From our current stopping point we're another couple hours from the next town, surprisingly ahead of schedule." Kakashi looked over his shoulder, paying her the courtesy of eye contact as he explained the situation they were in. He believed they might have taken another hour to get this far originally, yet the determination of his student was underestimated. Sakura's agility was gradually improving over the course of the last few hours. Kakashi was still easily faster, yet in the periods where he allowed her opportunity to close in on him with ease she was not wasting opportunities. Controlled bursts of stamina to launch her attack were used and used well. It took plenty of energy to scowl as much as she had, too. "I'm considering stopping again at a nearby lake, here." He returned his attention to the map, pointing at a mass of water just west of their current position, which his finger was originally pointed towards. "After we eat we'll head over there and I'll instruct you on the Water Clone technique, as well as how to add water itself to the Gunshot technique you've been working on for the past few hours."

Folding the map up and setting it back inside his bag, Kakashi retrieved the lunch Sakura had left for him and examined the contents carefully. A well-prepared lunch with meat, fish, and vegetables. No complaints. Breaking the chopsticks apart, he rested himself back against the base of a tree and let his eye drift skyward.

"Taro is proficient in Earth-Style ninjutsu, but what he's most known for is his Kekkei Genkai. 'Dry Hand' allows him to absorb the moisture and nutrients out of anything organic, that obviously includes us. The techniques I set aside for you aren't particularly powerful against Earth-Style, so Gunshot will be what we'll put a majority of our efforts in before we reach Tanzaku. Your hand seals will be an afterthought, as well as your overall speed and awareness." Kakashi glanced towards her. His voice was already deadly serious in tone, but his next set of words were spoken low enough to make her fully realize that she could not be mistaken about what he would say next. "This guy isn't on the level of Zabuza, but we're going off on outdated intelligence. I fought against him once before in the past, and he was as much of a match for me as Zabuza himself. He could be as different from that time as you are now, from who you were during the first bell test Team Seven had. If for any reason I'm compromised and I ask you to retreat from the battle, I need you to follow that order. Am I clear?"
I think it's possible Team Gai was, but Lee's future isn't in jeopardy now too so there will be much to be happy about for everyone.

We can decide it in the roleplay itself since Sakura is the one who's meant to benefit from Kakashi the most! So she can decide if she'd like to stop and train and get to town later in the evening or get to town sooner and proceed further before they train for the rest of the evening. She's restless so she may want to do it now before or a little after lunch. I think maybe it should just be a small Lee v.s. Sakura thing, but only at Sakura's insistence. Kakashi wouldn't want her to do it yet, he'd express that she's not quite ready for Lee yet, and Sakura can be bothered by this and challenge Lee. Lee's just so far ahead of her that it'll be a stomp at this point, and that might wound Sakura's pride a little. A lot of ways to deal with this, but Kakashi v.s. Gai can't really occur, no time for a contest at that level.
Mako was such a shit! I still, to this day, hate how the resolution between Mako and Bolin after Mako kissed a girl Bolin liked when he ALREADY HAD A GIRLFRIEND was 'lol women, right bro?' and Bolin just ROLLS WITH IT. These are the guys that brought us The Last Airbender? Wtf...

You're gonna need to tell me how that pairing would come together romantically, because out of all your pairings I could never quite understand it. Master and Student relationships are clearly fun as KakaSaku shows, but Tenzin is just such a HARD ASS that Korra could never have fun with him. I think he'd hold her back as a romantic interest, but maybe you can tell me how it's possible for them to build the perfect chemistry? Show meeee~

Her 'lowest point' is going to be at the end of Season 3, Season 1 was bad but Season 3 was just mad depressing at the end. Korra's decisions should have had more consequences among Team Avatar, and speaking of that ...those guys don't feel like a team on the level of TLA Team Avatar, not at all. I want to change that if we get far this time.
