Well I'm no genius measuring distance but they can make it to the nameless town by sunset and Kakashi can train with Sakura for a few hours in the early afternoon with stationary work. Gai and Lee being run into can work well, to help develop the Lee infatuation subplot further.

LOL RIGHT!?!?!? I NEVER got how Asami just GOT OVER IT and Korra NEVER apologized. If she did I sure as hell don't remember, or it wasn't meaningful enough. Asami was pretty blameless for just about everything in Avatar and suffered a lot, but since we're running things it's good that Asami has 'her moment'. Wait until she gets that bending! Also, Mako wasn't slick, and was actually a piece of shit, but this time the stakes are higher ...right?

Yeah this mission shouldn't take longer than three to four days in total. I came up with the details on a whim so admittedly I may not work out every hole since this is just a tutorial arc at best. Social gatherings will come and a festival could happen, I feel like maybe it's a little too early to have a festival though, so a social thing is totally doable. Maybe with all the Jonin and the various Genin doing some kind of activity or just having a get-together to celebrate how far they've all come since their days at the academy?

Sakura and Kakashi can spar for a longer period of time but it would mean that that town I mentioned between Konoha and Tanzaku would have to be skipped so they make up for the time. If Sakura is willing to sleep outside for the night Kakashi is more than willing to dedicate more time to stationary practice, something they can talk about on the way.

Washing your face shouldn't be made sexy xD I know Kakashi isn't taking a full-on bath. In town she could probably wash up!

The less Kai and Opal the better >.> and jeez I totally forgot how obnoxiously in love Mako and Asami were, dear god. I mean Korra and Bolin were having big dinners and burping super loud but these two were straight out of a Disney movie.

Training is always going to be somewhat tedious until it's much more hands-on, and due to the mission we can't really just pause until they're going to do lunch in a few hours afterwards. He'd offer a more practical approach at teaching her how to use that chakra gun but as they're on a timetable she's got to do it with someone 'fleeing', not fighting. Maybe she'd like to spar a little before they pack up again after lunch? We could have a little time for them left if I simply say that they're definitely ahead of schedule.

Hey,

So I decided to run with teaching her the 'base' of the Water Gun Technique, Spirit Gun of course, and am hoping this poses as a suitable challenge for her. To keep pace with someone easily faster than her, focus her chakra to the tip of her finger at a suitable amount, AND to take a shot at him is adding pressure from the start. She has five minutes each time before he allows her to catch up, and she must start from the beginning after each failure so she has an easier time. Kakashi hasn't said it, but he WILL dodge her shots. This can go on until Sakura and Kakashi take a break before they hit the rest stop for the evening and eat lunch.
