i have also now learned that light mechs from MechWarrior are rough equivalent to WH40K knights, and the big assault Mechs are probably about the same size as a warhound titan.
the point was that a mech weighing hundreds of tons or more shouldnt be able to manuver like an acrobat, at least not in wh40k technology. I find a huge mech the size of a reasonable office building doing a backflip is just silly.
also, can i trade out for a badass clan MadCat or Fafnir?
@Jbcool pffffft. Imperial equipment is closer to Mech-Warrior rather than Gundam. Which is good, because i find big stompy mechs more appealing than mecha who can run at mach 3... but thats just me.
@BCTheEntity "Ruthless? certainly. Honorable? that is what everyone says. However from two kilometers i am safe from retaliation and am free to rain the Emperor's judgment down upon the enemy cleansing the field with bolter and melta-fire, and save your sorry ass from that Superheavy tank that was behind you."
probably gonna be a close(ish) fire support with a thermal cannon and avenger gatling cannon. EG: pest control
@BCTheEntity lol, well if i stick with the Crusader i will certainly think you are a barbaric fool. if i go with the half mad berzerker i expect we will have a rather friendly rivalry.
Im already cooking up Character ideas, and im pretty sure you (because i wouldnt) wont allow a Knight Porphyrion. Im thinking an arrogant heavy support crusader knight.. Or a blood thirsty half mad Paladin/Errant.
Not really the mekhar will lose eventually regardless if they don't do anything so... it really doesn't matter. They help and they might lose. Or they don't and they live for a few hundred, maybe a couple thousand. But they still lose. The empire can win through attrition alone. So they realistically have one option.
Well, they dont -really- want to. but the Mekhar are being elitist pricks and we will fight them if we must. to forcibly steal their tech... for the good of the galaxy
