Yes. We go to a five star hotel in Dallas, food is free, for a week and we "compete" ( basically see which restaurant can get orders out the fastest with the most satisfaction). The winners get five thousands dollars for each employee in the winning restaurant.

These are credits. And they can be used for arcades.

Well it depends on the distance and what the sent package contents are, of course. Like right now it would've costed about 500 credits. Why credits? Because it's the most common and fairly standard currency for intergalactic travel. Also because it's easy to exchange.
