Two hours of sleep, starting an rp as a gm, and about a weeks worth of college homework to do, and I probably gave myself food poisoning. Oh baby this'll be a fun, fun day.

Even after several days, the hunter couldn't help but feel cautious of the individuals that came to answer his call. From the edge of the dock, the worn man gazed out over the cold ocean. He felt the misty breeze blow across his face, and the smell of the ocean air filled his nostrils. As snow began to fall from the gray skies above, William contemplated the uneasy alliance that he had formed, and the enemies that he made along the way by doing so. It was certain the consequences of his actions would catch up to him eventually, but he could only pray that it would come when he was past his time. When the world would no longer need a tainted hunter like him. William took in one final deep breath of air before turning to head back into town. Adorned in his hunting gear, the man made a distinct sound as he moved about the town. It was easy to hear the rattle of the chain that ran along his arm and attached to the shield on his back with each step he took. The wood creaked and groaned under his boots as he made his way across.

William arrived at the pathway and continued to head straight. He intended to keep watch by the entrance, in case there were more hunters arriving, or unwanted company. Though the man wondered why he bothered, for the first few were a surprise when they arrived. As the hunter stood watch, he thought back to the new faces he had met in these last few days. The first to arrive had been a Lycan named Henryk and a Vampire by the name of Rama. It felt unusual greeting the afflicted, and offering to shake their hands instead of taking their heads, but that was nothing more than a past life to William, and it was something he felt he shouldn't dwell on. At first, he was worried the two would feud with eachother, but so far they seemed to be coexisting without issue. The next to arrive was another vampire by the name of Eva. She was a Lycan hunter, much like him, and he felt she would be a welcomed addition to this newly formed hunting party. More arrivals followed after the second day, and greeted William throughout the day. Egbert, who was the first to arrive that day, entered the small village armed and dangerous. Just by looking at him, William knew the man carried a heavy burden, and not because of the large tank of fuel on his back. Later on in the day, he met Ivory, whom he welcomed into the town. Two human hunters in one day. To William, that meant that his message did not fall on deaf ears with other humans.

Again, William stood watch at the entrance of the village, waiting to see if more individuals would arrive at such a late hour. In between watches and waiting, he took naps in the dock house, which appeared to be where the man lived. William kept the door locked whenever he left the structure, in case someone ever thought of searching through his belongings. These people may be his new hunting partners, but for now they were still strangers, and not long ago potential enemies as well. Napping and keeping watch over the last few days hadn't given him any real time to socialize with any of the new arrivals. Tonight however, he planned to leave his post early to assemble these hunters in the old town hall for a meeting. For now however, he had a job to do. The man continued to keep watch, the subtle sound of metal rattling when he shifted his body.
@Divine Darkness Alright, you're accepted. Feel free to transfer your CS over to the character tab.
@Zetsuko i'd assume vampires would be weak to fire, but according to OP, the only way to kill them is decap.

Fire works. The concept of a flamethrower being used for this went over my head when I was throwing the OOC up, since I had quite a bit to jot down and I was in bit of a hurry. Decapitation is a good way to kill a vampire, but if you want to be certain that it is dead, you burn the body as well. Scorching one with a ton of flames works just fine as well though. Let me go scratch that in real quick.
@Aristo All of which you have said is true, and I have thought about this as well myself. I'm walking a rather odd line between reality and fantasy here. I do agree that using a weapon made purely of silver could be problematic against anything other than a werewolf. As for shots being inaccurate and shrinking upon firing, that would lead to guns with silver rounds being really only usable at closer ranges, which is fine. Silver is not necessarily required to kill a Lycan, but it helps by acting like a crippling poison if you can get it lodged inside them, and of course if you lodge a silver bullet into a werewolf's brain or heart, its a clean kill.

Most silver based tools/ ammo in this setting would most likely come from the Night Hunter's Organization, or through shady salesmen and black market individuals. It still wouldn't be cheap, but it would be accessible. With that said, it would be wise to conserve what silver rounds/ammo your characters have, as we wont have an unlimited supply.

@Divine Darkness I like the concept of your character. I'd be willing to accept her if she had a little tidbit of background on her character sheet though.
@MiddleEarthRoze Nice. You're accepted Roze, feel free to transfer over to the character tab, and i'll jot you down on the roster.

I might have the IC up at some point later today or tomorrow, maybe accept a few more characters as well, but our roster will be getting pretty full soon.
@ZetsukoHe's neat, but I think i'll limit it to one character for now, as time goes on I might allow more than one.

@DrowsyPangolin Also hi, nice to meet you. Just wrapped up reading your CS, and you're accepted. Go ahead and move her on over to the Character Tab when you can.
@Yorutenchi Ooo.. intriguing. Your character is accepted. Feel free to slide her on over to the character tab.
@Aristo Very good, I'd say once you've decided on a blood magic you can go ahead and move it into the character tab. Though you can choose to have no blood magic if you so desire.
@Aristo Vampires technically do not age. The afflicted tend to stay the age they were when they were bit. Age with vampires is more like "How long you've been around." However Vampires that have existed for over 700+ years are considered ancient, and ancient vampires possess a different, more powerful bloodline than the common modern vampires.
