would you believe me if I said I'm just thinking up most of this world off the top of my head?
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

That's amazing. You don't have any trouble with raiders or anything?

Not really, since I usually tend to stay out of sight during both the night and the day by traveling between the sky scrapers using knocked over objects and the overgrowth. *I say this while pointing up.* That said, it's not really worth going after a hard to reach persons worth of extra supplies, so that usually deters them if I do happen to be spotted.

Plus, an advantage to being on your own is that you can choose to avoid others more easily, which might be why most groups believe loners to be anything other than stories, as we generally keep to ourselves. There are a lot of obvious disadvantages as well though that sometimes make me wish I was still in a group, but that's neither here nor there.

*Gasps*
How? I thought that the stories about people surviving on their own were just stories.

There's no choice.

*looks a bit uncomfertable.* I.. I'd rather not say much about how considering that it's part of the reason I got kicked from my group. That aside though, it helps that I love exploring places like these for scraps of knowledge, as I tend to find most of my necessities along the way. *I've gone back to my usual self by the end of my second sentence.*

Explore for supplies.

<Snipped quote by Stabby>

It's as easy as a snap of my fingers.

Oh really? Then you'll have to show me later, when we aren't in the middle of a ruined and possibly fragile city.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

To you as well. Does your group have a camp in this city?

... I'm not part of a group. Got kicked out of mine a year or two ago for reasons, and I've just been surviving on my own ever since, doing my own thing.

Thank you very much.

No problem. I just hope your group is able to find what it needs.

<Snipped quote by Stabby>

I did say I came from a different planet, didn't I? *Grins*

But can you prove it? *Looks at you with a mischievous glint in my eye.*
Finally back. I forgot that I had set my computer to do a hard drive check on restart, so that took a while.
brb, flash is being stupid so I'm gonna restart my computer.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

*Quietly*
I don't want them to get mad at me if I say.

*Looks at you with a bit of understanding.* That's alright, you don't have to.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

*Nods*
I hope so. We have some sick people who could really use it.

I'm sorry to hear that. Do you mind if I ask where your group is camping out at?
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

That's pretty much what I'm trying to do, but on a larger scale. And if I can have fun while doing it, why not?

Makes sense, and an added bonus is that you usually don't run into other people if you don't want to. Though this looks to be one of the exceptions. And what kind of scale do you mean?
