*Nods*
I understand. I'm fine with sharing a room.

<Snipped quote by Stabby>

I'm okay with that.

Zel: Perfect. I've got a spare room in the craftsmen quarter ya could all use, so let's get down there. *Makes my way back to the lower section of the guild and returns to the part strewn room. As we pass through the lobby you can see it's gotten dark outside and yet most of the guild is still lit decently.*
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

Had their parents been the same?

Zel: Dunno, they don't really talk about 'em and I never really asked.

<Snipped quote by Stabby>

*Follows you*

Zel: Are you all fine with sharin' a room or nah? *Closes the door behind us once everyone but Neil is out.*
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

Hah, at least you knew what you wanted. I'm not necessarily a warrior, but I'll do it for the sake of exploration. I've learned a lot about it.

Zel: Pretty admirable.
Neil: Zel, could you please help them go find a place to spend the night? I'd prefer to go to sleep sometime soon.
Zel: Oh, sure. If ya'll would follow me. *Opens the door an walks out.*
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

I was asking you. For some reason I thought you were a hunter; I was falling asleep when the hunter was in the engineering room with us. But yeah, I can wait.

Zel: Oh, yea no. Tried when I was little, kept dismantlin' and messin' with my bow, so it didn't work out. *Laughs lightly.*
apparently net neutrality is gone
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

That's neat. Where were they before?

Zel: They were wandering scavengers, so they weren't much of anywhere.

<Snipped quote by Stabby>

Sure, lead the way. Thanks for all the info. I might want to go out in the wild with your hunters at some point to make a search for Twisteds, if you don't much mind—Zel?

Neil: You'll have to talk with the guardsmen and hunters first, since me, Zel, and the two other quarter masters only have control over our own respective guild activities. You'll likely have to wait until tomorrow to talk to them though.
Zel: What Neil said. Also what ya need?
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

How long ago did your relatives get here?

Zel: Oh, my mom and dad were scavengers that settled down in this town a dozen or so years before I was born.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

*Takes the book* Thanks. Based on what you learned, did the world before its fall seem like it could support or hold or create Twisteds or are they completely new?

Neil: No problem, I'll probably spend the next few days making an archive of it. And it's highly unlikely that the world would have had twisteds before its fall given what I read and could understand. They are something that's likely only appeared after the fall, so they might be linked. *Yawns and pulls up my sleeve to reveal a slightly clunky looking watch.* It's getting a bit late outside my friend so why don't we find you and your friends empty rooms and we can continue talking tomorrow?
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

Hmm. Well, knowing what you know now about the world before its fall, do you think Twisteds should have logically resulted from the previous state? If they couldn't possibly exist in the world before the fall, then you have good reason to believe the fall is part of it.

Neil: I need to know what you mean by "the previous state" first, just so I can give you a proper answer. By the way, I believe you might want this back. *At some point during the conversation I've closed the book and I am now handing it back to you.*
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

That fits my experience. Are they the only ones who don't become metaphorically twisted?

Neil: As far as I know there are no exceptions, so it's likely that the one you met has a side effect that's easier to hide.
