Yeah, the only difficulty is that I'm fairly certain the Guild isn't canonically synced to DataNet's chat system right now, which is why we get what is closer to security camera system footage than direct messages, where things like () would come in handy. I suppose it could always change if someone wanted to use the messaging system though.

You can use them for direct communication to another individual via a private channel if the speakers are on DataNet (name pending). Effectively, if they're communicating via a private channel, it would be theoretically invisible to everyone other than those on any platforms that information leaks to.

It's kind of complicated and the Guild isn't very conducive to that kind of system. When MR was on iFunny, it was effectively necessary since no beings other than humans could read the private chats.
