Former Enlisted Army, and very avid gamer. I have fallen hook line and sinker for Dungeons and Dragons, which has actually taken over as my preferred method to roleplay--as both a DM and a player.
However, my roleplay adventures started with writing, and I always will be interested in creative writing. I left for a brief 5 year stint (Hey, that's brief to an elf or dragon, yeah?) but am back and ready to dive into something (though what, I am unsure).
Happily married to my wonderful wife @PrimalArcana, whom I met at this forum (thanks @Mahz) and I can't be happier :D Love to RP pretty much anything. However, my time is much more limited than it used to be. My PMs are open if you want to roleplay, I'm known to do both 1 on 1 RPs and open forum RPs.
I may not be active anymore, but this still applies: All Green, all Army, HOOAH!

Selith laughed at Shalan's question about snow. A wide grin on his face, eyes crinkled and alight, he clasped a hand on her shoulder. "Shalan," he said with a smile, "Let me tell you. If you're waitin' for the snow to clear, you'll be waitin' a long ass time. It's winter up here, this snow's gonna stay for a few months more at least. It ain't gonna be meltin' anytime soon. I might add that it's gonna stay pretty damn cold too. So if you got someplace to be in a hurry, you're wastin' time waitin' for the snow to melt."
Selith released Shalan's shoulder then, and gazed into her elf eyes for a moment. She said she'd leave as soon as she was able, and truth was...he liked her company. He didn't want her to leave that soon. He realized now, just how much he missed contact with other people, realized how much the isolation was hurting him. He remembered his days living in the capitol, sparring with his brothers, training with sword and spear, shield and horseback riding...he missed it. He missed it a great deal. He could even use a bow, and was pretty skilled too. Nothing to this elf, most likely; elves were known for their dead-eye accuracy, but he could hit a target...or a person.
Shaking his head, Selith broke his gaze, looking at his dog. "You don't need to go as soon as you can, you know. You can stay here awhile if you like. Don't oft get company around here. Fact is..." he let his voice trail off, realizing that he was about to say something that he'd rather not say to a stranger. "Anyway, you don't be rushing to leave. If you want, you can stay longer. And of course I don't mind you catching some extra sleep; I'm sure the cows won't mind the company either--but if you'd rather have a bed, mine is unoccupied for the moment." He gave her a small smile this time, as he stood to his feet, scooping up his plate. "Course, if you do stay out here, I'll leave Turlu with you. He's liking your company."

I am SOOOO glad to see this back up! I was JUST about to participate in the next WOTM when the guild fell D: I do have to say though, not sure if I want to participate in this one because I'm not very familiar with historical events, so I'm a bit nervous to throw myself out there for the first time with this theme :o

Hey, Obsidian, not trying to rush or anything, but it would be great to see a post from you. And Athan too, since he's yet to post at all. Can you two get a post up soon please, I'd like to keep this RP running if possible. Thanks guys!

As few as they were, I really enjoyed our chats. Who knows, maybe things will work out and you'll get to stay, or you'll be able to come back one day soon. Whatever happens though, try to stay positive. I know you can get through this rough patch :)
I hope they do, because I'd really like to stay; and there's a few people that I DREAD losing contact with; you all know who you are!!!

Well, you *can* call them, and there IS a petition SOMEWHERE to get Obama to intervene...it has a lot of signatures too--but THAT, I have no idea where it's at :(

Meh, I don't care whether you are American or not Jannah!! *hugs* You're my friend, and your word would mean a great deal! I know Fox News is one sided, hell all news are. I like Fox News and I can admit that not everything they say is spun gold.
BUT, when I posted this, I wasn't meaning to draw politics into the situation, I really just wanted to get word out there about this kid who needs help. And it IS real, they link right into the blog for the family, in the article. If I saw this on an MSNBC article, I'd still learn more, even though I don't trust them.

Seriously though, do a bit of digging, or I'll link you to the facebook page on skype if you want. This is genuine, for sure--and each letter helps. Nationality means nothing in this sort of thing, it's people coming together for another human being :)
