Blizzard Entertainment supports the tyrannical government of China. Blizzard Entertainment ends the careers of those who dare dissent against their chinese overlords. And they're not the only ones...

In other news, Republicans in Oregon have laid siege to the state capital, shutting down the democratic process. They have the support of right-wing militia groups who have shot at police before.

Bio
I've been on and off this website for six years now. Right now I've only barely got time for one RP, and even then I mess that up. Trying to be more consistent and online more often, because I really do enjoy online roleplaying. Hopefully, one day I'll be able to write as much as I used too. Until then, I shall brood gloomily in the shadows.
Life goes on! Hobbies change and so do schedules. I hate ghosts, so I'm trying to put myself to rest as best I can with a status and bio officially marking my departure. If I'm going to do any writing, it's going to be working on that book I always wanted to finish.

That would admittedly block their standard issue weaponry for a couple shots as they don't completely blow through someone in most cases besides those with upgraded versions or close range. It would be weird for a monster to strategize like that though. If he has sentience to plan then he'd be called a race in my setting but some beings do blur the line.
I could have more "lead character" red shirts, like around three of them who are better fighters and more important while the others true to their namesake. They are ship crewmembers so don't follow a general and there's only 30 or so total. Humans are a common race but only for an individual race. In the massive pool of races they don't make up that large of a percentage like in star wars
We can start a thread for all planned battles and have a [planned] tag in the title so they know.
Yeah I would describe the monster in third person, but i think that the humans should be a little bit more personal
Side: (List which mercenary company you belong too.) Black Talon
Skill:(Things such as Forging, Parkour, Archery, swordsmanship, etc) Archery, Parkour, Skinning and Gutting
Weapon(s): A short-bow crafted out of fine wood, and 21 light but penetrating arrows. Dagger for protection on belt.
Arm Right:(If the weapon is two handed it uses both slots) Short-Bow.
Arm Left: (List sheild if one is used or leave blank if empty.)
Armor: Made of leather and cloth.
Helm: A simple green bandana she wears around her pointed nose and mouth. Shoulders: Since she's left handed, her right shoulder has brown-colored padding, but her left shoulder is bare of padding to make it easier to access her quiver. Bracers: Her right has a sturdy leather bracer. Chest Piece: A torso-covering studded leather piece, with multiple slices for layering so her armor contours to her when she bends over or jumps. Leggings: Leather around her waist, but a dark green cloth the rest of the way down. Greaves: Studded leather. Emblems: (Where the Personal Arms of the Company are located.) The Black Talon logo is engraved into her bracer.
Background: Her father was a human, her mother was an elf, refugees from a heavily "pure-bred" elven community. She grew up in the forest, going on hunting trips with her mother while father stayed and prepared meals. They were always a curious family in that way. Phia's father said that the bloody work of butchery was nothing to be ashamed of, and it was rewarding work. Her mother encouraged her combat training, teaching her to kill animals with precision. Dad however, secretly, of course, during night-time talks, queitly talked to her about honest work. But Phia wanted to fight, she was good at shooting, even hitting targets her mother couldn't.
She participated in archery contests and won most, she got a name for herself. Phia the Elf (Her rounder ears chalked up to coincidence), master archer. However, her thirst for conquest and action lived on. No more shooting static targets. She wanted change. And she got it when she joined the Black Talon.
Maybe where I control a redshirt army from a scifi setting I'm working on versus some alien menace so I can try fleshing out different npc's and their abilities? We can say my ship exited some weird dimensional portal so that if your alien monster follows different scifi convention rules then that's fine. He doesn't have to be a monster either. That or maybe I can do a team of my normal heroes versus some big bad. Could be fun because in a real match it would be hard to balance such a fight but if it's planned it could work better.
I'm also open to a standard one on one fantasy fight. Could also be Jedi and padawan versus Sith.
I think, If we were to do that, whoever is controlling the humans would have to do it from a particular soldiers or generals perspective or perspectives. If we both did in a disconnected third party perspective, I think it would be a little boring to read. I would enjoy being some weird monster.(Should we make a new thread to continue this on?)
