One of my favourite celebrities of all time and a remarkable human being has passed away. Rest in peace, Adam West. You will be deeply missed.

Why do people say "Tuna Fish sandwich"? That's like saying "Chicken Bird sandwich."

Bio

I never know what to put in these things. I'm just a guy who likes making stories. If I'm not roleplaying, I'm writing my own stuff or just creating random characters. I'm particularly fond of superheroes but I also really like character driven stuff and tend to dive into the details of a character. No character can be too detailed as far as I'm concerned.

As he watched the car roll down the hill, slowly being consumed by flames, Nate was silent. This would normally be where he made some smartass comment but he just wasn't feeling it. He was too tired and sore for his usual shenanigans. It had been a long day and all he really wanted to do now was sleep. He didn't think he would have much time for that though and doubted he could, even if he had the chance. His face was almost completely emotionless, save for the occasional mild grimace of pain. He felt like he had been through a blender and he cursed JJ for not helping him out. Seeing how bad she got later when she healed Jackson kind of countered his annoyance though and he honestly wasn't sure how to feel about it anymore.

Eli was apparently eager to get back to his safehouse and handed Nate a flashlight. Nate was anxious to get back too. He wanted to check in on his people and make sure they hadn't been eaten by hillbillies. He would never admit it to either of them but he felt responsible for Jennifer and Vincent. He was the one that dragged them into this after all. He felt very slightly bad about the crap they had gone through. But only very slightly and he comforted himself with the knowledge that both of them would likely have been dead by now if it wasn't for him. JJ by the douchebag twins and Vin by his buddies in the alley.

When Eli asked how hurt he was, Nate's eyes narrowed as he replied "Not so hurt I can't fight." His statement worked on two levels. He was telling Eli he would be ready to fight their opponents whenever they showed themselves but he was also letting him know he was ready to fight him if he tried anything. Craigh gave him a smirk as he passed by and started heading back into the woods. Nate followed behind him. He didn't know this area. It was definitely Craigh's domain and he seemed to move through it like he knew every inch of it like his own back yard. There wasn't much talking. Mostly the two caught up on what the other had been up to since their last meeting, both clearly leaving out details they didn't want the other to know. Eventually they reached the cabin and Nate looked it over, looking disgusted as he did. "Real dream house you've got here, Opie." he informed Eli, mockingly as he headed towards the door.
@DarkwolfX37 Well it's new to them all so your character wouldn't be a master of their power. That's how we've all been playing it so far and I'm pretty sure Acer would want you to do the same. Down the line, yeah, they'll get better once they've practiced a bit but right now the powers are kind of low level.
@memetrash101 Yes. That's actually what the first part of my last post was confirming. Typed it while you were typing your next post. :)
@memetrash101 That sounds fine to me. And we have teenagers and adults so I'd say any age is fine. You could be a preteen or an old man/woman if you like. I think as long as the character is written well, you're fine.
Is this still open? If it is, I'll plan to read through the entirety of the OOC and IC in the next day or two while writing up a CS.
If not, sorry to pop in and bother you.

Yes, we're still open.

Throw up a character sheet when you get a chance and @AcerRo will get back to you. :)
@Subject Zero Damn. What about super speed? Or would that be too OP?

No superspeed is still available. I don't think it would be too OP but it does have the potential is it's misused. I think if you were using that, I would make it somewhat slower than a comic book speedster would be able to travel, at least in the beginning. These powers are still knew so you could ramp it up a bit once they learn to use it properly.

@Subject Zero and I was wondering, have many people taken the Atlanta route? Because I skimmed through the character section and it didn't seem like anyone else had?

So far four of us (Nate, Jennifer, Vin and Jackson) have come through Atlanta. Some of them were just born in different places but their story starts there.
@Rawk Hey, is teleportation taken?

Yes. By [@Automoton]

Cody watched intently as the others interacted with the older man. Upon seeing the planet for the first time, his attention had been split between so many things. There was so much to take in. But as soon as he spotted the man's gun, he focussed all of his attention like a laser on that. They were right, he probably couldn't mow them all down but he could probably take out quite a few of them with that thing. Cody didn't see any point in risking it. Yet some of his fellow inmates apparently thought it was a good idea to antagonize the one person with a gun. Cody felt his body tense until the situation seemed to resolve itself. He breathed a deep sigh of relief and noticed a few of the others do the same.

After the stranger calmed down and began inspecting the damage to the ship, Cody crouched down and ran his hand over the grass, smiling at the feel of it as it ran between his fingers. But then a thought hit him and an eyebrow arched. "Was this part of the plan?" he asked no one in particular before turning to the rest of the group. "Was any of this? Were we supposed to be here? On this planet?"

They were all questions that needed answered and Cody scanned his eyes across the group, looking for someone to respond. Did any of them know? Did any of them have a single idea what the plan for their escape even was, other than simply "Run"? Asking himself the questions only opened the floodgates of his mind to more but he restrained himself from asking them all at once and instead looked to the others for answers.
@NarcissisticPotato Well that may depend on whether or not the prison they were in was segregated. i.e. The boys may not know her.
