I finished up Nova's sheet. It's really shprt and boring because my brain quit. I'll try to make a map of the campus when I can.

Aww thank you~ I'm glad my rambles actually make sense. Hm was there anything else that we needed to discuss? Oh...yeah the first arc! (I'll edit the reserved arc spot with this information) • Reborn intercepts applications and switches them to Durante. With Tsuna's group he just goes behind their backs and enrolls them all at Durante (or he discussed it with the parents and Bianchi beforehand.) • Everyone arrives at Durante. He opening ceremony happens (it's pretty kuch a giant orientation for the new students) • Within the first week of school our ocs notice that well Durante is different. Tsuna and the others adapt pretty well. This is all I have for our first arc. I have a slight tendency to get a tiny bit controlling over how things play out (since most of the time I'm the gm of almost all of my roleplays) but lay any ideas ypu have on me! I'm pretty open to anything and I love it when partners contribute their own ideas and it becomes more than just a simple story~ I'm unsure how they'd meet Tsuna ans his friends. Did you have any ideas for this?

Her mother and father had always thought she was a clumsy child. She lived a happy and simple life with frequent trips to visit her mother's family that had moved to another country. She enjoys new things and people due to the influence of her travels. Nova is a high energy person with a bad habit to day dream and to talk before she thinks. This often leaves her to butting heads with others because she can be blunt. Nova loves to people watch but it's a hobby that comes across as creepy; to her it is interesting to see how people interact with their environment.

I was thinking that they would have been related to someone way down the line. Their respective ancestors probably weren't guardians or anything major (they could have been) but rather some of the other people close to the boss (not relatives because that would have put a kink into everything) or from the early Varia (assuming that it's been around longer than Xanxus). I really like that you kind of read my mind on the whole flame thing~ They just wouldn't have been descendants of former Vongola members that he was looking for, they would have strong abilities in their own rights that would have benefited the Vongola. So I was reading this 'guide' on flames and how they fit into the KHR universe and it was really helpful. So flame users are pretty much always with the mafia (and its hereditary- Bianchi and Gokudera both have storm flames and likely got it from their father) and they always have a job within the mafia that fits with their flame. Typically the ones with the flames become the guardians but look at the Varia - they aren't guardians. Take Gokudera and Lambo for example. Since both are guardians they have the most obvious jobs - protecting the family.

As is true for all flames, Storm flames don't dictate personality, but a job within their family that is usually tied in with their fighting style. To be a Storm Guardian is to be the center of offense.

So Gokudera is the guy that is there to take out as many as the enemy numbers as he can in order to either make things easier for his family or to keep them safe. He role is to be "continuously at the center of the attack, the furious storm that never rests."

The job for the Lighting Flame users is that of defending the rest of the group. The great thing about Lighting Flames is that they can be used for both offense and defense—generally defense when others in the group are being threatened and offense when they are on their own.

Lambo has a shield and if you look at Ganauche III, the 9th's Lightning Guardian he uses his ring to create a shield of lightning flames. Lambo or any lightning user for that matter, is there to protect everyone. His role is to To draw damage to himself and away from the rest of the Family, serving as a lightning rod." Shields to that in battle. Since your character is a Rain flame user her job would to be to keep conflict down.

Rain flame users are supposed to be able to ease conflict, but as you can tell—like in regular human beings—they don't always have the personality to fit the part. However, settling conflicts does not have to be done as a 'calming agent' a la Momiji from Fruits Basket. Squalo, for instance, settles conflicts by intimidating people into submission. So long as your OC can keep a conflict down, whether within their family or in inter-family relations, they fit the role no matter what personality they have.

I think Squalo should have been the mom, not Luss.... Their jobs for the Vongola are pretty simple - they don't need to have their flames at the center. As long as their flames fulfill their 'roles' then everything will be just fine (Examples would be that Gokudera - a storm flame user (although he uses 5 different types his storm flame is the strongest) couldn't take on Yamamoto's job of keeping the peace and vice versa.) They could be informants, spies, or even go-betweens for Tsuna and the Varia. If we decide that in the future they'd be go-betweens then their roles are pretty simple - your character is the one to keep things between Tsuna and Xanxus calm and generally just easier for everyone while my character would be the one to protect yours (in case of emergencies because there would be times when they need to go to where the Varia and some action are going down) and together they could form something similar to Hibari's Foundation - an outside force that offers assistance. Their jobs (in regards to their flames) would be fulfilled and they would have importance that Reborn would have notice that the family needs. So it's almost 4am here and I keep rambling.. Here's the little guide thing. Reborn is a sneaky little dude. He could have had the Headmaster pull some strings as well.

Hm...I've been toying with that idea for a while now and the one thing that sticks out to me was that Reborn did it on purpose. :/ I'm not sure what country they would have come from but since Reborn has eyes everywhere...it is kinda possible with him. He's always on the look out for people who would benefit the family in some way. Even if they could never become guardians (they'd be more like back-ups just in case) they would still have some use for the family. Maybe they had been applying to an international school and Reborn had been keeping tabs on them for a while. It sounds a bit crazy and creepy but Reborn seems to scout for people specifically to join the family.

Ahaha...Tsuna would just..."Damn you Reborn!" Hm. Both options would work for me? Uh...hm...we could go with an established friendship then?

And Shamal could be the school doctor. And Professor Rebo-yama comes back. For the first week or two they think that they'd be going nuts or something. Hm...what do you think would be fun for us both to do?

Bianchi would be the head of the cooking club. :p Even the newspaper...it'd have all the latest news on the mafia world. Some of the clubs like the martial arts and kendo clubs are more about learning fighting styles~ The art club is going to be interesting because most of the kids in that club are learning how to use art as a means of getting information around without it being detected (by literally hiding it in the art.) Eh...I get a bit carried away at times with stuff like this ^^" I don't mind really. I forgot to ask (again) but our characters know each other before coming to Durante, right?
