I like all cakes, unless it is moldy or made out of plastic.

Same here. My favorites are german chocolate, yellow and carrot. The frosting for german chocolate makes my mouth itch though.

Hi! Welcome to my interest check!
After taking like a month long break from posting and some personal issues got dealt with I'm looking for one or two more new roleplays!

This is my original idea thread and eventually I'll get around do updating my fandom thread. I'm looking for a partner who will help me create a world forour characters
It's fine~ My nephew is sick and I've barely got over being sick myself so I probably wouldn't have noticed or minded (since I tend to procrastinate on a lot of replies) I will reply tomorrow night~
Aww~ Hmm. You could always wait until you meet her to name her, sometimes names come easier that way. I did with my puppy when he was born. I decided to name him Remington or Remy for short. All of my dogs have nicknames as well: Rook, Chi, Tiggs and Remy (since none of them respond to their names). Darla Daisy Penny Dahlia Dahlila Hattie Georgie Opal Winnie Hibiscus (after your username. You can call her something like Hibby ?) Quinn Daffodil (Daffy) Spring Bambi Lady Zee Maggie (I hope this helps you.) There's always those sites for baby names that you can use to find her a name. Good luck with the puppy when you get her!
:3 I am, my patience is really high when it comes to roleplays.
It's fine~ I will reply later.
Gokudera's cheeks heated in the palest of pinks at the dark haired boy's words."Of course! What kind of right hand would I be if I couldn't remember anything about the families?!" Gokudera held up a fist and growled. He was proud of the fact that he was smart. He was proud of the fact that his tutors in his younger years taught him the importance of having a good education since it meant benefitting the family as a whole. Although he never spoke or acted like it, he did love this mismatched, patchwork family that Tsuna and Reborn had created. He patted Tsuna on the back as the boy slumped in defeat and he gave a few encouraging words that had been interrupted by Nana, Bianchi (who was wearing a pair of large sunglasses) and I-pin. Nana was smiling gently as she set down the food she had been making, Bianchi brought the plates and cups and I-pin brought the napkins. They were laid out on the small table in the middle of Tsuna's room. "I thought we could all eat lunch together." Nana said in a soft voice. She was straining to keep her voice in check. Gokudera caught the tone and the look in her eyes while almost everyone seemed to skim past those little details. The food was passed around and soon things grew lively again. Even Gokudera was laughing. But Nana's strained smile was still there.

"Uh-huh. I've stayed with my cousins before in hotels when we'd go travelling so I guess it'd be something like that." Nova rolled onto her stomach as she reached for a picture of her cousins that she kept on her small night stand. Her mother's sister, her aunt, was very dear to Nova and they used to visit all of the time when she was younger but when her aunt died unexpectedly things changed and for a little while they didn't visit as much as they used to. "We'll be able to meet all sorts of people." She kept in touch with her cousins and almost every summer she and her parents would travel to visit them. The last few summers became harder as her cousins grew up and branched off to do their own things and she couldn't visit them for long. Nova sighed before placing the picture back on the night stand. She rested her chin on her pillow and a small smile came to her face. "And we'll be able to learn so much about other countries and we'll make all sorts of new friends." Nova was excited but her heart was thumping nervously in her chest. There was a tiny part of her that wondered if her mom and dad would be okay. She was an only child. There would be no one here to keep her mom company when her dad was out on business. Her mom was a quiet woman with a few friends who all lived in different countries. "What about your siblings. Have your parents found someone to watch them?"
Did you want to do a small time skip to the day before they go to Durante? I was thinking that there would be two small 'good luck at school' parties or something. Also I can't picture Nana as being happy that her son and his friends are leaving for Durante but she'd put on a strong front for them. (Also I absolutely love having more than just my mains be a focus in my posts~)
You're welcome~ I think they sell rings or something like that with movable parts to help with fidgeting/boredom that you can try to help keep your hands away from your mouth. Maybe your goal is to stop biting your nails because it hurts or because it is doing more harm to you than good. It doesn't have to be a large goal, just one that you know isn't going to impossible or crazy (like growing your nails out so you can file them into claws in order to gouge out eyes or something...)
I bit my nails up until my senior year of high school. One thing that I did was i wrapped my fingertips in bandaids (I always bit my nails too short and they'd bleed) so I couldn't get to my fingernails. It sounds weird but it helped me a little bit. There were two things that stopped me from my bad habit: my wisdom teeth and to be a bit more feminine. When my top wisdom teeth came in I couldn't bite my nails (or anything) normally and it hurt to open my mouth and that jump started everything. So my second reason was vain and it probably wouldn't help you any. I was really embarassed of the way my nails looked because they were little more than raw little stumps and I always hid my hands in my pockets to hide them. After my wisdom teeth prevented me from biting down on my nails and I told myself "you're going to stop biting your nails because you want them to be pretty"...I just kind of stopped? (What is sort of ironic now is that I keep my nails long)
  • Chew gum or do something to keep your mouth or hands busy. (This seems to work well for me when I get the urge to bite my nails.)
  • Use clear nail polish (I was also told there is nail polish that is made for nail biters.) Someone also told me to put something spicy on my nails (like rubbing a pepper on them).
  • Catch yourself when you're biting your nails and make the effort to put ypur hands down. Sometimes peole don't know that they are doing something because it has become "normal" to them.
  • Have a goal. It's easier if you have some sort of motivation to keep you going.
I wish you the best of luck~
