Alaerin watched the shuriken fly true.. one blocked but the other hitting home... hindering the beasts defenses and attacks for as he expected the barrage of Von Mackstein and the Gunmech Fulisade gunfire ended its threat!

The sudden roaring of the rising water was.. inexplicable as to why... this being a Desert, but on hearing the rumble of the onrushing water he re-sheathed his greatsword over his back. Rushing to the corridor wall.. he gestured... and a storm of shuriken flew from his black Coat's many pockets to imbed the metal blades into the wall aimed at the seams in the mortar or existing cracks... to form a make-shift wall of crude hand holds to climb the wall hopefully long enough to allow the rising water to rush by...

Yelling to Von Mackstein and the Fullisade of Gunmen, "...Climb the wall using the hand holds on the blades! Hold on Tight!!"

Actions:
1 Action - Use [Psychokinetic Forcemastery] - [Telekinesis] F, Gear[Shuriken] F
- Form handholds in Corridor Walls to provide hand-hold to climb hopefully high enough to avoid submersion in the water wave as it passes by
2 & 3 Action Sheath Greatsword and climb corridor wall.

Alaerin rubbed his temple with his empty hand but focused his mind and pushed through to peer over the edge taking a stap back to regard the glowing aquatic menace...

"It's emitting Some kind of projected mental pain aura...!"

Then gritting his teeth, "...So you like to inflict pain eh? Let me show you some real pain not a fake mental phantom...!"

Focusing his mind, Alearin touched his brow in concentration and his dark longcoat seemed flutter to a 'breeze' unfelt by anyone else... suddenly two flashes of glinting metal launched form the folds of his dark longcoat and two iron shuriken spinning so fast they buzzed in the air like angry metal hornets flashed forth directed by his invoked Psychokinetic Forcemastery to viciously dart forth to pierce the Large beasts eyes striking like a buzzsaw with the force of hydraulic hole-punch!!!

Bringing his Greatsword into both hands to bear in a defensive stance he prepares to block/parry with his Lightning Ward any attempt by the multi-limbed beast to slam or grab him with is tentacles...

"Von Mackstein... Exterminate THAT THING!"

Actions:
1 & 2. Psychokinetic Forcemastery - Mentally direct spinning iron shuriken to strike at Large Beast's Eyes ~ Twice!!

- Note: Hopefully an attempt to blind the beast will make it easier for Von Mackstein's fullisaders to precision aim for something vital... like IT'S HEAD and it will not be able to 'effectively' avoid or attack unable to see?

While Gutou was busy ... pontificating... Alaerin pulled out his Journal Book and got to work... first sketching the Golem Guardians, the scene of the Tomb Ruin halls as well as sketch of the intricate floor patterns in the floor tiled mosaic and finally a sketch of Gutou in his book pages. Then he moved to the pillars with the strange Animal Hieroglyphic picture/symbols and tearing a few sheets from the back of his Journal book pulled out a piece of charcoal and began making some discrete charcoal rubbings of the strange hieroglyphic symbols... diligent to get as many varying examples of the lost language as he could!

When completed.. he carefully placed the loose pages between empty pages in the back of his Journal to preserve the details.. and closed the Journal buckling the bookcover leather strap securely before returning the journal to his shoulder bag of travel gear.

Seemingly he heard everything Gutou said as he responded, "Thank you for the opportunity to prove our worth we will NOT disappoint... but part of being worthy means not being able to be mislead by distractions. We will go through the hole in the wall to seek the Flute AFTER we have finished searching and securing the rest of the Tomb's corridors from any threats... like whatever is moving down the hall into water we just heard... can't leave some hostile creature behind us to trap us in the Tomb can we now? Plus... I want to catalogue more of the Tombs vistas for prosperity... many of the sights within here need to be shared with civilization to remind us of the Greatness that was for once.. and might be again if we stay true to our convictions."

Gesturing to the party, "... This way... I'll take point as usual.. same approach protocol Von Mackstein... cover me."

With that Alaein drew his Greatsword again from his back-sheath and flourished it into a reverse grip in his left hand and strode forward ...again the Greatsword lit up with his Thunder Blade of arcing lightning to illuminate his path...

Alaerin listened to the flow of the conversation and pondered the situation.... his Earth-Based views of 'dead' beings owning or guarding anything from the living was a non-issue in a modern Earth view... but this was not Earth. Alaerin did not like lies.. and did not like the direction of the inquiry... his brain racking for a way to avoid just plain "murder-hobo" tactics that so many "adventurers" favored.

Alaerin was from a mostly civilized Earth... and 'Good' people did not brake into other sentient beings abodes... regardless of their nature ~ kill their guards and just take what they wanted...

But... something occurred to him... a way to avoid lying and maybe avoid violence toward Gutou...?

Addressing Gutou, "But isn't THAT the point of a Challenge? To determine the worthiness of a supplicant? Let us take this challenge and prove our worthiness to gain possession of the Jade Flute of Ascension, perhaps this will entertain YOUR Emperor and You may gain his continued Favor?"

Alaerin regarded the speaking multi-armed skeleton... with some unease... but curiosity.

Shifting the great sword to his left hand reversed grip... a 'carrying hold.. not an immediate threating posture he calmly walked over carefully avoiding any of the indicated 'crimson' potential trigger plates in the floor but keep a respectful 10'ft distance.

He spoke to Von Mackstein I, "Ease down Commander, we may simply have a misunderstanding here. Though this locale may seem a ruin and unclaimed to us.. it could be this ... being's abode. It might just have been defending what it viewed as its home and WE as invaders."

Turning his attention back to the quadra-armed skeletal being... he addressed the skeleton...
"Ahem. Excuse our ... inadvertent destruction of your ... guard Constructs. We were not informed this ruin was occupied by ANY living residents... though living might be a stretch in your case. I am Alaerin Storm, and these are my fellow exploring companions... to whom or what are we speaking?"

"Perhaps we can come to some agreement or negotiation that does not require further violence? We are not here to destroy or kill anyone who does not offer violence to use first."

Alaerin feels the elixir fill his body with superhuman enhanced strength a sensation that is new and almost frightening in itself! He watches the Blue Helmed Golem fall to the combined strikes of his Battleblade and Von Mackstein's Saber... but only perceives the triggered Traps with only split seconds to act...

On simple reaction... He Yells, "Si! Franc! ~ DOWN!!!"

And calling upon his enhanced strength shoves the stony Bulk of the Blue Helmed Golem's remains with his foot to skid the heavy remains across the floor between Silus and Fancias... bulkier than either of them... in hopes they go prone enough to let the sandstone trap land upon the Golem's wreaked but still massive bulk and not crush them!

Only moments to react... being within melee reach of Von Mackstein as they both attacked the golem... only a twist of fate putting Alaerin clear of the falling Stone Trap .. he steps to Von Mackstein's side raising his greatsword over his head clutching the blade and hilt in both hands and Invoking the last of his Lightning Ward protection tries to catch the falling Sandstone Block with his enhanced Strength and hold it ...just long enough for Von Mackstein to dash out from under the massive block... and drop it once the commander construct is clear!

Certainly NOT his best plan... but he's improvising with only fractions of seconds to act... or watch allies slain...

Actions:
1. Use Enhanced Strength to shove Blue Helmed Golem Wreaked Bulk toward Silus and Francias to go prone to avoid being crushed next to the bulk of the destroyed golem's massive bulk
2. Lightning Ward - with Empowered Greatsword to add some small remaining protection from falling Sandstone Trap {[Fighting Style-'Greatsword'] F, [Lightning Blight] F, Barrier F - character generates a lightning field to block or weaken incoming attacks. - F}
3. Step to Von Mackstein's Side and "Catch" falling Sandstone Trap with Enhanced Strength & Lightning Warded Greatsword to hold weight temporarily long enough for Von Mackstein to scramble clear of falling stone trap ~ Then Drop the weight!

Alaerin swung his Greatsword invoking his Lighting Ward to Block/Parry the incoming energy of the Kinetic Force Melee strike, and rolling with the impact pivoting his position to lessen the impact.

Hearing Francias call out to him and the 'Axexation of Puerto-Rico' ~ "Little Rascals"-style football catch-toss-catch maneuver again of the Boosting potion bottle. Alearin stretch out with his will with his Telekinesis and just 'tipped' the flight patch of the tossed potion bottle to drop it easily into his grasp ... and popped the cork again with a slight Telekinetic Tweak... and downed the elixir...

Casting the potion bottle aside to again grip his battle-blade two handed he shifted position to place himself opposite AnoYi nodding at coyote-fencer,"Together!!"

To time their strikes simultaneously... with the Blue Helmed Golem between them. On Mark ~ Alaerin leaped in manifesting his Thunder Blade to make a vicious empowered swing with the lightning infused Greatsword on the Golem's flank... not aimed.. just swinging for center mass to connect and inflict as much damage as possible ~ hopefully forcing the Golem to split its attention against two attackers coming at the same time!

1. Lightning Ward - At Empowered Greatsword Block/Parry against Kinetic Enemry Melee attack {[Fighting Style-'Greatsword'] F, [Lightning Blight] F, Barrier F - character generates a lightning field to block or weaken incoming attacks. - F}

3. Attack 'Blue Helmed' Golem Main-Body with Thunder Blade - greatsword ~ ([Fighting Style-Swords] E, Blight Lightning F- blade becomes electrified as it strikes a target - F)

Alaerin reacts... intensifying and focusing his nimbus of lightning to manifest a blinding Azure lightning directed at the falling block of sandstone in a thunderous BOOOMMMM~ in the enclosed chamber to shatter the falling block of sandstone if possible into smaller chunks and sand with his Lightning Aegis that his Lightning Ward can deflect, incorporate or at least blunt the impact off his arching lightning barrier...

But he is also in motion dashing forward Greatsword raised ... His Lightning Ward reacts to the sandstone particles in the air from the directed Lighting Aegis strike.. to incorporate with the static electrical effect to seize the sand in the air... and his Telekinesis pulls and focuses the sand and Lightning Ward in the air into a barrier to smother and deflect the incoming cone of flames gouted from the construct...

But the Red Helmed Construct was NOT Alaerin's target he moved to intercept the Blue Helmed Golem trying to attack AnoYi... to that target Alaerin Storm shifted grip on his greatsword.. and swings to strike at its head to hopefully forestall it unleashing a cone of fire at the non-combatants of the party...

"Von Mackstein I! Target fusillade on the Red Golem!"

The Battle is enguaged!

Actions:
1. Lightning Aegis - At Sandstone Block {[Fighting style swords] E, Range E, Blight Lightning F - character produces a lightning bolt that smashes into a target up to 30ft away and shocks target - E}
2. Lightning Ward or 'possibly Telekinesis' - At Sandstone Block & Cone of Fire {[Fighting Style-'Greatsword'] F, [Lightning Blight] F, Barrier F - character generates a lightning field to block or weaken incoming attacks. - F}
- OOC: Not sure how active defenses work technically the Lighting Ward was already manifested... so should it take an action? If not then will add in Telekinesis to control the sandstone dust in the air to form a Barrier in conjunction with Lighting Ward to form a barrier to flames by smothering them with the dust already in the air and animated by the static electricity of the Lightning Ward
3. Attack 'Blue Golem' Head with greatsword ~ ([Fighting Style-Swords] E}

Alearin nodded accepting Machstein's I ~ Trooper Units assistance...

Standing he briefly waited for the Trooper Units to get into position, then hefting his Greatsword in both hands closed his eyes and invoked his Lightning Ward ability... opening his eyes they glowed with an inner electric incandescence... and arcing lightning began to form around him like a nimbus of Sait Elmos' Fire! The arcing lightning trailed from his sword hilt to his body causing glow of azure light to emit from himself and the sword.

Switching to a reverse grip on the blade Alaerin began to walk down the center of the hall... azure light radiated from the nimbus of lightning surrounding him in a glowing aura of power...

Stray arcs of lighting occasionally struck the floor and statues as he ominously walked down the hall... casting flashing eerie blue light about the chamber from the arcing lightning flashes...
