Did someone say Fire Emblem? 8D Seriously, your the second person I've ever found with FE on their list. Before anything else though, probably should say some things about myself. I'm a bitch lady, and generally prefer to play female characters, but can play male or double if needed. My average posts are around 2 paragraphs, longer for intros/solo sections, shorter for dialogue and i have decent spelling and grammar. The only trigger I can really think of is incest. It just creeps me out ok? Any torture, blood/gore and other mature themes are fair game as far as I'm concerned. Generally I avoid using cannon characters as my main character, as I never feel like I can do the character well enough to warrant it. Using them as supporting characters is perfectly fine though.

@Super Duper one of my old favorites is the Sword of Truth novels. Of course there's like, a dozen in the series and none of them are small, so have fun if you go for it!

I have been RPing for a while. I'm not the best, usually only having a one to two paragraphs a post, but I do try to keep up with whoever I'm RPing with. I tend to go with smaller groups as I find it easier to keep going, with a strong like for 1x1.
RPs I prefer the most:
Medieval, both fantasy and not. Could be with normal people or mythical creatures, because Manticores, Dragons, and Lamias are simply awesome.
Pack/tribe style, having a small group that has to lean on each other to survive has always been enjoyable for me.
Freelancers, generally a very small group (usually 1x1) that runs around and does what they need/want to.
Post-Apocalypse, cus who doesn't like blowing up the world? Also, sometimes zombies, cus I like to make pretty splatters.
Spaaaaacccce, because exploring the unknown and getting into trouble is always fun.
Romance. Now, this does not mean adult material, I mean more of the cutesy moments that make my blackened little heart actually feel something. While I can go into the naughtier things, it's not something I'd just jump into. Also, I don't consider romance to be a stand-alone type of RP, only as a tag along with a larger story.
Also, if you put Pokemon (Feral or Gijinka) in front of any of those, I'd probably jump right on that.

A small warning for the end of this, I can be rather mean to my characters, sometimes downright evil. Missing limbs or shattered minds have been known to happen with a few (more than a few) of my characters.

This has my attention. Anything with small mercenary groups usually does anyway, but you worded it quite well on top of that.
This seems like it could be interesting. Should I make a sheet for X and PM it to you?
By the way, did the Quincy Massacre happen in this? Elamshin wouldn't have been a part of it, but she likely would have heard of the Gunners 'victory' over the Minutemen.
Elamshin slipped into the town, relieved that any of the guards that saw her didn't recognize her. She wasn't really surprised, the only times she saw anyone past her old group was through a scope, and they usually didn't see anything after that. She did hear Miller talking with someone, likely selling them whatever he could, but she didn't bother heading over to see what he had. While she did have a decent stash of caps that her group had built up, she wasn't one to carry much in the way of armor, preferring the light and flexible leather. She stretched out a bit as her tired muscles protested against the hours of traveling she had just finished, leaning against a steel wall with a sigh blinking rapidly to get the sleepiness out of her eyes. There was someone with a rather foul mouth nearby, but that wasn't exactly out of the ordinary.
Probably the best times to add new players would be when the group reaches a major place, like the Castle or Diamond City. Or if they encounter the group the player is with, like the Brotherhood.

If he was approached by Gunners a few times, Elamshin and him may have seen each other before. Although he'd be easily recognized, she would be in different clothing and wouldn't have been the one to speak to him, maybe just in the background at the time.
