@DemonMiyu I do, but I am not looking for any other fandoms at this particular point in time!
ba-bump!
@Nallore That would be lovely, please do PM me (I'm still navigating this site, ahaha)! I don't have Steam or YIM, sadly, but I do have a Skype for instant messaging. There's also Google Hangouts if you have a gmail account. But, anything works!
@Nallore Oh my! I am happy to have captured attention. c: I adore both games, so I'd even be up for roleplaying both fandoms if you'd be up for it! ;D

Hello world! Online, I go by Alice. It's not my real name by any stretch of the imagination and serves solely as a pen name. A 'nom de plume', if you will.
I’m twenty-three years old and a Ph.D. student in the field of behavioral neuroscience. I’m also a token gamer/nerd/geek who has too many ‘feels’ over fictional characters and spends too much time in the character creation portion of video games.

Roleplaying is a hobby I am way too invested in. I swear, it keeps me sane as I slave through grad school. I'm looking for partners who are as willing and eager as I am to jump into the deep waters of plot and character development. I'll first go into a description of my roleplaying style and what I am looking for, and will polish things off with talk of fandoms, plot, and pairings.

Without further ado, onwards!

i. length, style, & frequency of replies

I default to writing in third person and past tense. However, if preferred, I can easily switch over to present tense. Left to my own devices, I write around 400/500 words per half. That being said, 90% of the time I end up matching my partner – so don’t worry if you write less/more, because I can adjust.
Another thing to mention is that I have a tendency to write more for my partner’s love interest than I do for my own character (and I would appreciate the same courtesy in return).

On average, you can expect a daily reply from me. There are times I can provide more replies and there are times I have to take an extra day due to miscellaneous IRL engagements. My default rate, however, is one reply per day.

ii. doubling and characters

One hundred percent of the time, I like to double up (i.e. your OC x canon character & my OC x canon character). That means that I'll be happy to play canon character of your choosing to pair with your OC and, in return, I'd be thrilled if you played a canon character of my choosing to pair with my OC.

For romantic/sexual pairings, I am happy to do m/f and f//.
Love triangles are an option I would be willing to do, if desired. So, if you'd like me to play more than one love interest for you, I'll do so without a problem. Though I'll most likely ask for the same set-up in return.

iii. limitations on content

First and foremost, I will only write with those who are of legal age. By my country's standards, that age is eighteen.

Depictions of violence, foul language, and substance abuse do not bother me at all. In addition, I enjoy writing smut (provided it's backed up by plenty of plot) and have no intentions of fading to black. In fact, I'm cool with almost all content in roleplays and enjoy exploring darker themes, as well as the emotional consequences associated with traumatic events.

That being said, I do have a list of topics that I refuse to delve into writing. Said topics are: rape, pedophilia, bestiality, necrophilia, and intense torture. I'm am alright with the implication of such things happening offscreen if a plot is particularly macabre. However, I will never roleplay out those aforementioned topics, as that crosses a line.

iv. contact information

I'm happy to chat outside of the roleplay on non-roleplay related topics. I'll admit it outright, I like talking to my roleplaying buddies. A friendly connection beyond the mechanical exchange of replies can really make or break a plot. At least, it can for me, because the more familiar I am with a person, the easier I find it to share ideas and brainstorm with them. So, please don't be shy to chat with me!

Feel free to contact me in the following ways (though please be aware that I roleplay either over private messages, a private thread, or email, and that Skype is only for chatting):

Via PM or by response to this thread.

v. fandoms and pairings

(in bold is the role I would like to play.)

{ Until Dawn }

This game is phenomenal. For Until Dawn, I'd really like for a plot set at the beginning of the game. This way it would be easy to integrate OCs and see how differently things might play out as a result. Otherwise, delving into what might happen post-game work just as well!

pairings:
Any canon character x your OC
Josh x OC (or) Jessica x OC

{ Life is Strange }

Another phenomenal game. Never in my life has a video game actually left me sitting in my chair and staring at the computer screen in utter shock. I actually teared up several times throughout playing this game and am now eagerly awaiting its fifth and final instalment.
For plot, I think it would be interesting to set things during the first couples of episodes and then throw in our own twists and turns. Then again, as I suspect that the fifth episode will be coming out soon, doing something post-game would be great, too.

pairings:
Any canon character x your OC
Nathan Prescott x OC (or) Victoria Chase x OC

And that concludes this roleplay search. I do hope you've found something of interest!
(let me be your waifu for laifu)
