I don't know much about the gem universe/lore (getting too old to keep up with you youngins' lol, jk. But really, I haven't watched SU, so yeah. :/) Your character will be a fun learning experience/new thing for me, which is exciting!

Awesome-sauce! I've been really addicted to SU recently (probably because I stayed up until 2:30 AM watching about all 70 episodes to catch up to present day episodes!) and can't stop being inspired about it! I'm glad that you'll have fun (hopefully!) learning! :D

Her father, meanwhile, turned to Akiko.

"No, thank you. I think she is...tolerable with her learning at the moment."

Naito came back with the packages, handing them to Akiko. She smiled at the girl.

BIO

After a ship was accidently launched from her Homeworld with unmade gems onboard, it crashes into Earth and crumbles into the soil along with burying only one unmade gem. The rest were destroyed from the crash. Years later, she comes out of the soil.

She realizes she has a rainbow moonstone in the top of her left hand, and is able to use the shadows to travel. From her gem she can draw out a bo made of rainbow moonstone with a 'vine' of rainbow moonstone wrapped around it.

She quickly found out what she was not human, and concealed herself in society. She wishes to be open and honest to someone, but she’s found no one who she can trust.

Naito woke up with the sun bursting through the circular window across from her bed. She felt exhausted.

Aaaah....What time is it? she wondered, rolling over to look at her clock. When she heard a thunk.

She looked over down at the floor and saw a book.

Oh yeah, that's right. I stayed up late reading my book.
She peered over at her alarm clock.

9:31 AM

Oh jeez, already?!

Naito quickly got up and got dressed, going downstairs past the main housing area and into the tea shop.

"Naito! You're one minute late! Get to work" her father sternly said to her.

"Forgive me, Father," she said. Her father nodded to her.

"It's alright, just begin working."

Naito nodded. That's probably all they would say for the day to each other. She began setting up tea sets and brewing tea.

Naito grew up in a peaceful town, with her little brother and her parents. Her little brother (Hizachi) is three years younger than her. She started taking violin lessons when she was six. When she was seven, she started playing her violin to calm her little brother to sleep. Three years later, she realized that her music could actually calm him. Her brother would have anxiety attacks whenever their parents were yelling at each other. Her parents yelled at each other so constantly, and Naito was playing her violin almost 24/7 for her brother. She began to teach him the language of music, and one day he told her that she could feel how angry their parents were when they were fighting, and how sad she was when she heard them.
Five years later, their parents got a divorce. It got even worse when a three weeks after the divorce, their mother was killed in a fire at work. Hizachi told Naito about the feelings that were radiating off of their father. He sat near the window, looking out at the flower garden that their mother had always tended to.
Naito found out a year later about the academy, and she and her brother fled to the school.
