I'd say if you wanted to finish your fight, like I did, you could, but it would mean you would have to write a longer post. If not, you could always do a time skip. Though I'd say thats probably the less preferable option. Not only does it deprive you of a chance to get some more writing, but we would all lose out on seeing the rest of your characters abilities. Your choice though ^_^

I can answer the question as of now, since I don't believe Vulkan is on at the moment. (Note: I will probably get some stuff wrong, so take it with a pinch of salt in case I am corrected)

For technology, the city is about the same as it is now. The tech is about as advanced as 2015, but new technology is being constantly discovered by the scouts. As for why, the 6 minute war all but destroyed it all. As for human genetic editing, I can say there is a bit of it, but that's kinda a secret following one of my character :p

As for powerful corporations. The largest by far is of course the New Order. For others, you can check the character tab for the Nexus and the Lost, as well as the other PC factions. Other than that, there is only one main civilisation which the the city we all live in, and probably the most influential group besides new order was the Cabal.

Name: Joseph "Asper Scythe" "Nine" Stone

Age: 34

Appearance: (WIP)

Personal issue: All his friends were killed whilst off duty because he was careless. Joe constantly feels that he was at fault for letting them die, but more importantly that he should have died along with them.

Power: Gun-smithing is the ability to create any feasible weapon from nothing in about 1.257 seconds. Any weapon that has been invented can be created using this power, but the user must be able to understand what makes that weapon tick. Things like large scale explosives and future weapons are completely impossible to create, but any type of current gun, ranged or melee weapon, small scale explosives etc are within his limits. This is also limited by the fact that the user must be able to IMAGINE them self with that weapon before they can wield it, which makes being a person who understands weapons almost essential.

Personality: Joe has always been a whimsical person, acting purely on instinct a variably nothing else. This has made him rather unpredictable, with his methods being unusually unorthodox and dangerous, but still with some sense of safety in mind. He has also been slightly paranoid; always carrying a weapon of some description with him in the event of a fight or attack. As well, he has been known to disregard an areas mood, which often leads to confrontations following comments offensive to the people around him and their emotions.

Joe joined the military at the age of 26 because of some sort of duty he felt he had to uphold. In his first 2 years of service, he made multiple friends who he would spend much of his off duty time with besides his family. After 5 years of service, he had to be discharged because of an odd mental distortion during his free time. He and his friends from the army had all gone of a trip, where they were to spend a week recovering from duty, before they were to head back to their families for a couple of months. On the third day of the trip, Joe and his mates went out for the night, where he was encouraged to leave his weapons behind and to stop being paranoid. They 5 had a great evening, and left at around 4am where they were attacked in the street. Whilst walking back to their hotel, a group of thugs ambushed the drunk men and killed all but Joe; who was knocked unconscious at the start of the battle. When he awoke, he was in hospital where he was informed of the news. There he was confirmed unfit for military services and was discharged back to his family.

It was shortly after this he developed his ability. He felt so strongly that it was his fault everyone had died, and felt even more so that he should have died along with them. After his powers manifested, he was conducted into a training regiment called the UKPD, or United Kingdoms' Processor Division. There, his abilities were tested and he was officially given the title of Processor Nine, or Asper Scythe. He has been transferred to America since the news of the presidents assassination was revealed.

Equipment: Casual clothing, mobile phone, work laptop.
