I am interested in a little western action. I will keep an eye out for this one.
Interested, are you looking for a more serious tone or a bit whimsical?
Jiwari Farwalker -- Tortoisefolk -- Mountain Evergreen Tortoisefolk

Profile

By the measure of Tortoisefolk Farwalker has only just begun his adult life at a meer two-hundred thirty eight years of age. The Mountain Evergreen Tortoisefolk are an uncommon species rarely seen further than a few miles from the place they are born. Most of his kin have long since given up moving and simply become an organism attached to the earth, destined to grow in place. Jiwari after the style of his people has grown to a decent size in his sedentary lifestyle. The tree growing from his rocky exterior has reached a venerable and stately size for its age. The few creatures that call him home are well used to his every few years wanderlust. The trio of metallic ravens consistently nattering and mocking anything that is nearby. The family of stone squirrels that have made the tree and foliage upon his shell their home. The ever-irritated half honey badger half poisonous porcupine who stubbornly refuses to be left behind. And the nucleus of Jiwaris' menagerie of mutated creatures a chameleon Chousingha, a small deer like creature with four prong horns extending from its head. Jiwari enjoys the company of his mind-linked minions living upon his craggy surface.
Biography

Farwalker as expected of a Tortoisefolk is somewhat stoic and proper. That being said a long association with his ravens and squirrels has given him a rather dry sense of humor unlike most of his kind. This comedic enjoyment is quite possibly why he has chosen to wander down off the mountain breaking with long held tradition. The weathered stone of Jiwaris shell and thick rock infused hide has made him quite tough, although he is typically rather non-violent. The same cannot be said for a few of the creatures living upon his moving scenery. Often enough some poor creature makes the mistake of upsetting Turin (the porcupine badger) and receiving a storm of poisonous quills in response. Though he possesses the ability to rise and walk upon the lowest of his four sets of limbs Jiwari trundles along placidly not disturbing the habitat that has flourished upon his back. Farwalkers greatest strengths of course being the symbiosis between the variety of minions he carries and a penchant for snapping up then swallowing whole creatures who begin to threaten him or his adopted family. Requiring no more than his tree to live, water, especially deep or moving water is the Mountain Tortoisefolks primary fear. The sheer weight of a stone Tortoisefolk is not made for swimming after all.
Relationships

Leaving this section sparse for now, hoping to collaborate with another character.

@World of Terra first draft, let me know if it needs modification. Thanks!
@A Lowly Wretch No problem, after I saw your idea for a Mushroomfolk it was just a passing thought. Seemed like it would mesh decently. Let me know if you're interested. I will get my CS put together so there is something to look at.
All other interested players, I am thinking for my Tortoise-folks backstory it would be best if he had an adventuring companion who convinced him to wander abroad. If anyone is interested in collaborating on backstory let me know.

@A Lowly Wretch
@World of Terra Just wanted to give my concept some scope for the GM to make sure it was acceptable. Awesome. I will select an image and start crafting a character. Very much looking forward to this game!
@World of Terra Let me know if this is too crazy, but if you are game to let me try it I will keep it reigned in. Not trying to be ridiculous just really been waiting for a chance to play this character.

Edit: I just realized I could possibly make a character I have been dying to play for a long time. Will get up some art and ideas shortly. Someone tell me to calm down because I feel like I am about to foam at the mouth I am so amped up about the idea.

A large sentient Tortoise-folk that is part stone part moving earth. He can talk and like most Tortoise-folk he can stand on his hind legs but for the sake of the creatures who live upon him he walks on his eight legs.

Tree on the shell similar to this with a bit more shrubbery.

Four sets of legs with "fingers" like so.

For size.

Instead of magi I am thinking of a small bevy of mutated/irradiated woodland creatures that live on his shell that he controls telepathically. A few talkative ravens with metallic appendages, rock squirrels that are phosphorescent, a half honey badger half poisonous porcupine, and the alpha woodland creature a chameleon Chousingha.

@World of Terra going to go ahead and launch the OOC when you post the CS?
Interested in this, a Beastfolk sounds like something I can make work.

Edit: @World of Terra Beastfolk magi a possibility?
@Mr Rage I agree about the party size, maybe one more if someone shows up relatively soon? Do you have a CS that you want us to use? Annndd... as a group are you wanting us to fight against the Germans?
