Hey remember when this site didn't have 3 tabs in the IC threads? Crazy.

I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

"heh, don't you worry about Pij," Lark assured Jenso as Pij zoomed past him at tops speeds and spun around in midair, hovering in front of him for a moment before heading out the door and deeper into the forest. Lark walked over to Jenso and patted his head. "Be safe out there Jenso-man. There are untold dangers that frighten even me, haha!"
Lord Krunk's Quarters

Scaled and Conquered

Krunk let out a massive squeak as Zerraf's bullet tore through Krunk's thick bandages and embedded itself below his skin, and deep inside of his skull-bone. He reeled back in pain, Jenso's hammer only knocking him slightly forward again, and shaking his composure. The glowing around him ceased entirely, but started up again a few seconds afterwards. Krunk began growing even more, but at a very slow pace.

"KRUNK ROLL OUT!" He shouted, slowly pulling his appendages into his armor. The sound of flesh scraping against iron was slow. It seemed that most of his stamina was already depleted. Krunk's movements were becoming sluggish and predictable. His ring hand remained immobile, as did his head. Was now the time to strike the killing blow?
"Dunt wury," Lark said with his mouth full. He gulped down his foot and pointed at his little green sparrow friend. "Pij will lead you out of the forest. Once you're free, I think you'll be ok if you just follow the path."
But yeah, if there's anything bothering you guys, feel free to speak up. Either here or in PM's. We'd rather know so me and Tex might possibly be able to do something about it rather then you guys leaving.

Truth.

Sorry I haven't been posting much. I've let Jenso take the reigns until we get into the next part of this chapter.
"Your high Ki gives you a long-term healing factor, as long as you can rest and eat. Speaking of food, there's some cooked beast over there," Lark pointed a a large leg with meat on it across the table. "Pij told me about some guy who made his way through the forest to the north last night. He seemed pretty suspicious, which aint a lot to go on, but if you want some kind of lead..." Lark shrugged and took a bite out of his own beast leg. "Seems like a cool lead."
Chapter 8

A Little Bird Told Me

The next morning, Jenso awoke with the pain in his leg completely gone. Although the sword left a permanent scar near his lower thigh, it had completely healed, and wasn't sore at all.

"Ah, good. You're awake! Pij told me something you may want to hear," Lark said, beckon Jenso over.
Lark sighed and nodded. "Don't mention it," He said softly to himself. Pij flew onto his shoulder and nuzzled close to him. Lark chuckled and rubbed her underside with his finger. "I'm sure we'll have an idea in the morning.."

Lark yawned and continued to pet Pij. "You know what to do, girl," He whispered. Pij flew off and through the Ajar doorway. Lark groaned loudly and collapsed on his desk. His recent energy consumption has left him more exhausted than he'd thought at first.

Meanwhile, far down the sprawling paths, a man was thinking over the proper site for a burial ritual...

~ End Of Chapter 7 ~
Lark shrugged. "Beats me. Maybe you should think about it tomorrow morning, and rest for now, though."
Tesh Yama

Redorchard

Tesh's eyes darted towards Lynn's Sneasel, and then towards Lynn, just as he was pulled up by the hidden net. Who the heck is using primitive traps out here in the jungle instead of pokeballs? Didn't they know that it was foolish to waste the effort? Or were they actually hunting pokemon? Whatever the reason, Tesh didn't jump to any negative conclusions like his two so-called allies had. "Easy, Lynn," Tesh urged, reaching to pull her back by her shoulder gently and walking past her to address the man. "We seem to have gotten lost, but I'm inclined to ask what you're doing out here with a net when you seem to have pokeballs at your disposal," Tesh asked, while Kaz hid slightly behind his legs. The little Meowth was extremely suspicious of the random man in the woods.

"Care to enlighten us?"

Lark smiled and motioned towards his bed. "That's the spirit. But I'd stay off that foot for the rest of the day. If anything, you should sleep here tonight. Course, it's not like you have anywhere to go. Or do you?" Lark asked, somewhat confused on what Jenso planned to do next. "It's not like you're going to find this Prisma guy by just wandering the world randomly. And from the sound of it, your town is pretty much wiped off the map. How are you going to get stronger if you have no goals?"
