I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

As Jenso dropped down from the second floor platform, Bobba hopped back and flourished his right arm, which was covered in three bracelets. A wall of stone appeared in front of him and blocked Jenso's fist, before crumbling into dust. "Foolish runt! Did you think I was defenseless? I keep the good stuff for myself!" As he shifted and lowered his arm, Jenso cluld see his shirt being worn by Bobba under his wide open top. "You'll be crushed by my earthly magic! I'll turn you into a mummy!!"

~ End Of Chapter 12 ~
Bobba cringed at Jenso's revelations. "I think you're a little in over your head you little brat. Who do you think you are, getting in my way? You don't even know what this rock is!" Bobba stepped back even further and waited for Jenso to approach him. "I'm not going to sell it, you ignorant fool! What I AM going to do with it is none of your business!"
Bobba spun around towards Jenso and looked up at him, very confused. "Golden-boy? What are you doing here?.. And where's your shirt?" Bobba asked, backing away slowly.
"I've lived here for 50 years, but even now I can barely understand these confounded little puffs!" The old man said irritably, walking towards Jeff. One of the puff balls jumped onto the hair-man and grumbled angrily. "I meant nothing by it, little Chufila! haha.." The old man moved close to Jeff and whispered to him, "They understand English, watch your mouth 'round them," he paused and moved his hidden hand out of his hair-like body, handing Jeff a bundle of clothes. "Here are some replacement clothes, whippersnapper."

A pure black t-shirt, and a pair of grey pants was now in Jeff's ownership.
Jenso's aim proved rather efficient. With a cling of rock against steel, one of the scaffolding platforms came unhinged and three of the workers fell from above, landing near the opposite side of the room. All three were knocked unconscious, and the remaining 7, 3 of which were now walking towards the platforms above Jenso, stared at the occurrence in confusion. Bobba spun towards them and growled aloud. "Idiots! This is the second time this week! Why can't you secure the scaffolding properly??" Bobba walked towards the knocked out workers with 4 others walking behind him. "This puts us at least an hour behind schedule now!"

Jenso heard footsteps above him moving slowly towards the entrance, where two ladders swung down.

"I'll do this on my own, get them out of here!" Bobba ordered. With that, the worked retreated, one after another, carrying their allies with them. "Feh.."
Moving into the room, Jenso noticed that the edge of the cave was not only surrounded by fence, but scaffolding that reach all the way to the roof. The area was cylindrical, and from the center of the roof, hung a glowing orange rock with black lines coursing through it like frozen lightning. What the heck was that? It was being supported by the giant metal beam as the rocks were stripped away by Bobba's helpers. There were about 8 of them now, plus Bobba himself.
"Ah think nothing of it! Though twasn't me who truly saved you, if I were to be honest. It was the Choofa! These little puffers were quick to rush to your aid when they'd seen you fall in the Choofa gorge!" The man explained. His hair moved with his head, but he was awfully hard to take seriously, looking like a giant wig with arms. "That fact that you survived such a long fall was extraordinary, but the Choofa seem awfully interested in your for some reason! They won't leave your side!"
The little mushroom village was rather small. He poked around and found even more of the little puffs floating around the cave, and they all greeted him with one strange word or another. He looked around like this for a while until he found himself face to face with a strange silhouette blocking the only exit.

"Awake, Eh?" The figure said in a manly voice. He looked like he was awfully old, and as he stepped forward, using a cane as support, it was confirmed that this man was definitely a geezer. His beard reached the floor and covered his entire bottom half. Looking closer, he wasn't wearing any clothes at all! He was literally a walking pile of grey hair, with his hand, eyes and nose sticking out. "Cheery-o mate! A righteous fall you had, yes it was!"
Jenso was stealthy, and easily turned the man's ability to walk and talk into an afterthought with a quiet KONK of the head. He then hid the bodies next to the boulder, but one of their bracelets struck the hard ground and made a quiet clinking noise. Bobba turned his head towards where Jenso was very quickly, but didn't look around for long. "Feh," He muttered, turning back up the the ceiling. There were other workers, but Jenso couldn't see where they were from where he was. The entire room that Bobba was in was surrounded in a fence of wood though, which could allow Jenso to stealthily navigate its sides without being caught, in theory.
The little puff on Jeff's shoulder leaped away on invisible legs, like it was flying, and stood on the grass in front of Jeff with its friends. "Yoom!" it hummed. It then pointed its ethereal little hand towards Jeff's bare chest. There were bandages wrapped around it, and dry blood stains, but if he were to remove them, all he would notice was a small scar near his belly. "Struu bella SHICK!" The puffball said excitedly.

Looking around, Jeff would notice he was actually in a large cave that was lit up by both his new little puffball friends, and a series of glowing plants that floated around him like air-bound jellyfish. There was an exit in front of him, and several huge mushrooms where the little jellyfish seemed to live.
