I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

"What happened? Why, I don't really recall! I remember nothing before the age of 20, at all! Its a shame, but I've never looked back or tried to escape the gorge. It's my home, and the magical fruits down here keep me alive and well. I'm rather spry for a 70 year old, eh wot!" Fiz explained, hopping and clicking his feet together. jeff couldn't really see it past all the hair, but Fiz was wearing a set of wooden shoes. "What's more curious, is how you ended up here! Did that savage you mentioned have anything to do with it?"

One of the Choofa approached Fiz and warbled something into his ear as it floated by his head. "Eh? The choofa seem very interested in you, M'boy! Very interested indeed.."
As Jenso looked over the rock, he noticed a tall pale man with long white hair braided into a ponytail. "My name is of no concern, as I've said! Did you not catch my point??" The newcomer snapped, tilting his head up towards Jenso and pointing towards his elongated Canines in a jest. "If not I'd be happy to grant you a first-hand experience, alla-Vale!"
"Who cares? I'm nobody, you're somebody much more, a lot from what I've heard, important!" The voice snickered again and Jenso heard a metallic clink against the rock on the other side. "Jenso, isn't it? A precarious warrior without a path who serves no real purpose, lest he ruin the true fate of this planet, ahaha~"
Chapter 17

Path, Interrupted

Jenso was finally on the road again, his trials in Orobo behind him. What the mighty guardian had said held true. Within two hours of setting out, the air grew colder, and the horizon became pale. The grasslands surrounding Jenso were littered with scattered patches of trees and bushes, but they grew thinner as he kept traveling forward.

But the path branched into four paths when he thought he was almost near Pharie. Jenso had four choices here, and there was no sign to guide him. Only a giant boulder in the center of the path-fork. One path curved back the way he came, but headed more southeast, so he could rule that out as the path to Pharie, but the last three sprawled in different directions to the north.

"Pronounced problems picking a particularly pleasant path, pal?" A hoarse, male voice teased Jenso from behind the rock. There was somebody out here!! But who was this man? He didn't reveal himself immediately, but hissed a shrill snicker after his question.
Katie looked at Jenso in confusion, but felt oddly flattered and inspired by his thanks. She nodded and smiled. "Y-Yea! I will!" She shouted as Jenso took his leave. She waved him off and kept what he said close. She didn't help at all, but if Jenso was going to do his part, why couldn't she? The entire village waved Jenso off and gathered around Orobo.

And so the elementals have a new hope in the soul of Jenso, a hero's tale truly begins.

~ End Of Chapter 16 ~
"I don't know exactly. My knowledge of the landscape between our meteors is limited..." Orobo admitted.
"You would like to spread your aid elsewhere?.. Hm..." Orobo went silent for a few moments before huffing a hearty chuckle. "Why of course, brave golden one. I can direct you towards the village hailed by the water elemental, Pharie. Pharie village, a town that sits far to the north, where the land begins to freeze, and snow falls without regard for its people.."
"Ahaha.. Yes.. I am quite the.. Dude.." The voice stammered slightly, somewhat confused by Jenso's lingo. "My meteor will stay here, now. With it above ground, I can now commune with my people once more, guide them through dark times, and share their light. I will share my abilities with a chosen few, and they will defend me. As for Bobba's men and their Amulets that they carved from my meteor, I shall make sure they are not allowed to enter my village ever again."
Katie looked at the rock, utterly confused. "Orobo? The village founder? Our village was founded by an elemental!?" Katie screeched in terror. "That's insane! Get that rock away from me!" She darted behind Jenso and used him as a shield against the rock's voice. It was kind of dumb.

"Ha..Ha..Do not fear, child. I am no less of human decent than you or your family. The elementals are merely the first, and we only seek to spread peace, and prosperity. I and my brothers and sisters used to watch over the world actively, but since our meteors have fallen into darkness, we've not been able to commune from the temple of Origins for many years. Golden mortal, I thank you for once again for your timing and efforts. If you had not been here, that Bobba character may have been able to harness my core's power over earth, and use it for his own greedy purposes.."
"There will be no need for such actions, golden mortal," An earthly voice echoed from behind him. It had come from within the meteor. "I mean no harm to Orobo or its people. Tis' a relic of my own will to cultivate. I, Orobo, claim responsibility for your land," The voice assured Jenso and everyone around with a booming elderly voice. It was like an old man was trapped inside of the meteor! Or a god. Or something...

"I have been watching you, golden mortal. I admire your spirit, and acknowledge your strength. You have my thanks, for eliminating a threat to my beloved village."
