I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

"Yeah, I think I should probably check on my little brother.. I'll see you tomorrow," Emilia said, just as Lystra was already headed out of the tent. She groaned and looked to Fuso's wife once again. The woman's were parted, slightly open, and damp with tears. Fuso couldn't bare to look towards her, and as Emilia inched towards the tent's exit, an uncomfortable silence overwhelmed the broken family.

It wasn't long before Lystra reached Gremma's tent. She'd set up near the edge of the little village-like settlement that they'd created for their stay, like she'd always done, facing the mountains to the east, where the lake had begun to thin out into a small stream. Gremma turned to her foster Daughter with a quick jerk, somewhat surprised by how sudden her arrival was.

"Late, isn't it?" She huffed, turning back towards an assortment of nick nacks that she'd collected over the years. Gremma found sound kind of peace in lining them up methodically, and acting out scenarios that most people didn't quite understand.
Rajaka's foot didn't move much from the force of the fire ball, and he stepped forwards after the kick, keeping his balance and following up even further with another step, and a wide, hay-maker-lookin' hook with his right arm.
"Alvios.." Manfred paused and nodded to Joseph, who walked off, moving to direct the citizens one after another, and leaving Alvios with Manfred. "Perhaps there is help to be found in Arcadia's library. Before you go off making any rash moves, perhaps it would do you some good to speak with Jessica. She was not attending the festival, so she.. She would not have.." Manfred paused and shook his head. "Tell her that I sent you, and ask about Hellion. Spend some time with here. I would explain further, but Joseph's arms are only so fast. You are right to point us to our people, but you should not be alone right now."

Jessica, the librarian who kept Arcadia's legendary, albeit relatively small, library afloat, speaking with the caravans and gathering books whenever she could, whilst writing a few of her own. The library was located to the north of Helios' statue square, only a few minutes away. Jessica would like be happy to help Alvios, but far less happy to learn of... Recent events.
Rajaka turned to Jenso and dodged both of his fireballs, while stampeding towards him, by ducking the first, and dashing around the second, all while stomping with the ferocity of a raging bull. "Ready or not ya little shit, here I come!" He roared, pulling his leg up, and kicking forwards at Jenso with the bottom of his boot.
Rajaka's fist crashed into the ground, and flames bursted out, but in the same moment, the floor of the entire Arena cracked outwards. Fire engulfed Rajaka's entire arm, but even from far away, Jenso was thrown off balance by the Arena floor cracking and shaking as white tiles flew up from the ground. Suddenly, the entire arena was shattered with Rajaka's single punch, split into several triangular shards. Smoke and dust flew up, but Rajaka was left standing, with burn marks along his right arm. He stood up slowly and stared at the injury as Jenso's fireball flew over his head, missing him entirely and exploding near the foot of the western bleachers. He clenched his fist a few times and grunted.

"Maybe I shoulda' swung a little harder," He groaned, "Slimy little bastard.."
Rajaka Scoffed at Jenso and stomped his right foot into the ground, rising a giant wave of yellow, erratic energy from the ground. The flames were doused as they struck the sudden wall of strange Ki-like energy, and then is dispersed, and Rajaka was stomping towards Jenso. But he stopped just short of him, and glared down at the man from above.

"That was your last shot, kid," He growled, swinging his massive fist up, and then down towards Jenso like a hammer.
Rajaka Ducked the fireball slightly, letting it graze his hair, and spun towards Jenso, facing him head on. Rajaka was slow, and wasn't able to react, but he stepped back slightly, and allowed Jenso's fist to strike him in the chest. The ground below him cracked, and his feet moved back as flames swirled away from his chest. However, as the flame Dragon punch resolved, Rajaka's bare chest had turned slightly grey, but returned to normal moments later with light singe marks. He looked down at Jenso and smiled.

"Wanna give that one more shot?" He said, bending his elbows and pulling his arms to his sides, flexing both.
Rajaka side-stepped Jenso's fireballs one after another and rose his arms, crossing them absentmindedly. "I aint interested in playing cat-and mouse, pipsqueak," Rajaka grunted, standing firm after dodging the two fire balls.
Rajaka didn't move a muscle, standing firm and Jenso dashed around him and jump up to kick him in the head. Rajaka tanked the blow, and his head only moved slightly to the side. The man's eyes shifted towards Jenso while he was still in midair, and he frowned.

"Is that it?"

Jenso entered the ring, just in time for the final announcements to be made. Rajaka was already waiting for him at the other end, walking towards the center with slow, heavy stomps. His yellow eyes were fixated on Jenso, and his mouth was curved into a smirk, clearly visible through his mask due to a strange yellow light seeping through the black fabric.

"The main event, ladies and gentlemen! From Arcadia, we have the spirited fighter that surprised everyone, Jenso!" The announcer shouted. The crowd went wild with cheers, screaming Jenso's name.

"And in this corner, the man who miraculously wiped out an entire bracket without even... Fighting..? The uh.. Giant.. Rajaka!" Rajaka rose a fist and closed his eyes, but the crowd was silent. It didn't really matter to him, he kept smiling and glared at Jenso right afterwards.

"Ready to get smashed into a fine paste, golden boy?" Rajaka taunted, placing both hands on his hips and standing strong.

"Fight!!!" The announcer shouted. But Rajaka didn't move. He stared Jenso down and waited patiently.
