People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

Jenso broke free with ease, pushing Luke aside. The old man frowned for a moment, but shook his head. "I don't blame you for being angry ki- Er, Jens. I'm not exactly a shining example for anyone! Haha.. Ah..." Luke sighed and waved Fay and her friend off. The two of them nodded and ran off.

"Listen, Jenso. I didn't call you here for some big family reunion or nothin', I'm uh.. A little past that. I don't even think I'm in any position to call myself your real father. I called you here because I need your help."
"Oh come on!" Luke bellowed, lurching towards Jenso and pulling him in close. Luke had a large weapon attached to his back, and one of his eyes was covered with a patch, but he didn't seem the least bit affected by the prospect of violence or his own missing eye. "I was kiddin', kiddo! Haha.. I'm uh.." Luke paused and looked away, "I'm not so good at talkin', people say. 'Specially not with introductions. Haha, when my spies sent me your picture, I didn't really believe it at first... So I haven't had much time to uh.. Prepare anything like a speech or.. Y'know."
Luke chuckled and shrugged, walking towards Jenso lazily. "You get pulled underground by a couple'ah strangers, and that's your first question? C'mon boy!" He blurted with another round of laughter.
The three of them kept running for quite some time, until they finally reached a wider tunnel, that opened bigger and bigger until they were in a giant underground cavern. They stood on the rim of a large bowl-like area, where houses and towers stretched from the top to the bottom of the huge spherical room. The path they stood on circled the entire cavern, and had many tunnels leading to random locations, with signs over all of them. In the distance, Jenso could even see a sign labeled 'Orobo'!

"Welcome to Diver's paradise Jenso!" A gruff voice called out from below. Suddenly, a huge man jumped up and landed in front of Jenso with a light thud, before stumbling forwards and smiling. He wore a pair of green pants, and a large red tank-top.

"Hello Master Luke!"
"Hello Master Luke!"
"Come on, come on!" The girl shouted, "Our tunnels are the fastest way to get where we're goin' no matter where the place is!"

"Calm down Fay," The man ahead shouted, running ever faster, while trying to hide his own excitement, "He's the Golden Hero! He'll keep up!" Fay nodded to herself and kept running. They made a sharp right turn, and then a left.

My WHAT!?
The girl smiled again and bounced up and down for a moment before running down into what appeared to be a hidden tunnel. She man ran ahead and waited for the two of them to catch up.

"Your father!"

"What?" she squeaked, backing up, "What? No! Screw Yvengarde, they're fine! They're always bloody fine with that fancy-shmancy barrier that Tech-Mo shipped over. Small castle, small barrier, works fine- No! We're here with news from somebody very important!" The woman said excitedly.
"You Jenso? The Golden Hero? Legit?" She asked, peering back and forth occasionally. Behind her, deeper in the bush, stood a man in similar clothing wearing a red turban. He smiled wide and glared at Jenso like a fanboy.

News Travels Fast

As Jenso made his way down the dirt path leading towards Yvengarde, there was a mountain line in the distance that became clearer with every step. The Calombo Mountains, a treacherous patch of terrain that varied vastly despite the small amount of land it covered. Nobody ventured into the valleys, and few scaled the mountains to their plateaus. Before it though, stood the small castle city of Yvengarde. It shined brightly, surrounded by trees and bushes that thickened more and more as Jenso got closer. It made it very easy to hide, and considering it was literally a city made of gold, one would imagine that thieves and pillagers would take advantage of that.

As Jenso was within nearly a kilometer of the city, something called out to him from a large patch of bushes nearby. "Psst!" It hissed. Looking closer, Jenso would spot a woman with a purple turban obscuring most of her hair, and a similar type of patch-work clothing over her body. "Golden Hero!"
