I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

The women screeched in pain, falling to the ground, torn to pieces. As Jenso and Alvios ran past them, one of the women clutched to Jenso's pants and was pulled along with him for a few feet before getting shaken off, terribly quickly.

"W..Why.." She said, quietly, before losing consciousness.

Jenso and Alvios soon found themselves in a wider tunnel, further down the line. Before long, another infested group of humans blocked their path, each begging for assistance, more desperately than the last. They looked to Alvios, and Jenso, tears welling up on their eyes.

"Please, Alvios.."
"Don't.."
"Please.. Help.."

At this point, the mouth of the tunnel's exit was in view, leading into a massive room with a spiked ceiling. It was just beyond this group. What were Jenso and Alvios going to do now?

"We... We're still alive.."
"Don't.."
"Please.. Save.. Us.."
Two of the caverns were completely blocked off by Jenso's efforts, even if only for a few moments, but the swarmlings from the unimpeded cave, as well as the few that survived Alvios' attack from earlier, ran right past Jenso and Alvios, hopping straight into the water hole that lead back out into the ocean. They didn't seem eager to fight, or guard any of the tunnels at all. They seemed a lot more eager to head for the now unprotected city of Corona.

The zombies that proceeded forward were now in perfect view. Alvios could recognise them as some of the women who had gone missing over the past month. Sarah, Lilith, Maria... Now putrid walking monstrosities. Despite that, their clothes and skin seemed relatively unworn, despite how they were covered in water and dirt. "G..Graa..h..." They all gurgled, barely conscious, but still able to direct their eyes in the direction of the people. "H..Help.. Helpp.." They called out, begging for assistance as they crept closer.
As Pij Flew off, a loud screeching was heard from all five of the tunnels. Moments later, the small, drone-like infantry monsters sped towards the entrance chamber in gratuitous numbers, latching to the floor, walls, and ceiling, and flooding 4 of the tunnels. The only tunnel they didn't flood, was the one that Pij flew down. From there, instead, zombified humanoids began to lurch forwards, taking heavy steps and they were barely able to step forward.

Crystalline Romp
Alvios' efforts lead the two to the end of the cavern in seconds, both men erupting from the water's surface with a splash, and landing in the small cavern, with several tunnels leading in five directions from the medium-sized dome-like room. The walls were uneven, and rough, spikes jutting out with a purplish glint. In fact, every square inch of the cavern glowed with a rainbow of pastel shades. Purple, pink, and blue, cascaded together into one massive pattern.

It was a crystal cavern.

The cavern lit up, showing that the cave actually curved downwards, but rose back up after a little while. It wouldn't be long before the two ran out of air.
Jenso and Alvios dropped into the dark Chasm, sinking continuously. They didn't meet any resistance, but within minutes, every last shred of light disappeared, blinding them both. The tunnel seemed to curve as they fell lower, allowing them to walk on the sea floor, but without their vision, they wouldn't be able to navigate.

Hold Your Breath

Alvios had taken Jenso to Oar Bay, and showed Jenso exactly which boat was Apollos, before promptly hoisting the sail, and taking the two of them towards the reef. It was a little far out, but it didn't take long to get there. Alvios stopped the boat at their location, and looked down in the unusually clear water, where a giant jagged hole could be seen curving into the earth at the center of the reef.
Apollo reeled back with a shriek, far higher-pitched than one might have expected, and fell against the back wall of his office. His secretary leapt into the room at Jenso and Alvios were leaving to noticed Apollo's ear on the ground before him. She was frozen in place, staring at him in horror, unable to believe what she'd seen. Apollo covered his bleeding ear and panted heavily.

"Jan," Apollo panted, "Cancel my 6 o'clock."

~ End Of Chapter 110 ~
Apollo was cornered. His narrowed his eyes, and then his composure shattered. Apollo collapsed back into his chair and leant his head back. "Fine, you win," He wheezed. "I know the coordinates of the cave that those creatures came from. I uh.. I accidentally opened it while we were blast-mining the Ki-Kiok reef- You know the one, Alvios. I was alone, trying to get Ki-Kiok jewels, when suddenly I.. Uh. I think I struck a nerve in the foundation.." He stopped and leaned forwards into his arms, which he rested on his knees. "The entrance is right there, under water. I didn't want to say anything, I thought our armies could hold them off. But with you around.. Maybe.." He stopped and sighed again. "That's where they are. They're in Ki-Kiok. If you really plan on going out there to stop them, you can take my boat."
