I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

~ End Of Chapter 151 ~
Mikey came back into the room and clasped his hands together. "Alright! Bruce, we'll be using this room, so.." He hinted.
~ Chapter 151 ~

Hey Guys

Mikey waved at Ross and pushed forwards, "Finished up?" He asked, "Just in time."

"Ah, yeah. I'm just on my way to-"

"Actually, I need to talk to you for a sec. Jeff, wait here for a sec, would you?" Mikey cut in, pulling Ross towards the exit.

"Oh, uh.. Alright?"
"That's what Trainin's for," Ross said happily, "Now, I've gotta get to a bed. You might want to get back to your own personal training, if ya need it. Jeff's supposed to be dropping by with Mikey soon for the next session." Ross quickly made his way towards the door, but before he could, Jeff and Mikey had already arrived. "Oh, shoot, there they are!"

~ End Of Chapter 150 ~
"Blup! Processing and sending result to Mikey!" Blup bleeped.

"Mikey will have more to say, but from my perspective? You acted pretty well. If you can match, or at least come close to the strength of those chaos idiots, you definitely got a chance!" Ross nodded, clutching his arm. "Can't say the same for myself. My arms are aching something fierce.."
There were tons upon tons of heft behind the incoming hunk of rock. Ross turned towards it in a daze, and spun his body around as quickly as he could. With his feet firmly planted, and his arms extended, he held himself in place as both of his arms began to buckle under the weight of Bruce's attack. The granite didn't push him back this time though. Combining his raw strength with his manipulation of earth, Ross managed to stop the attack, barely allowing his feet to dig more than 4 inches into the ground. Even then, the rock dropped before him and shook the field, leaving his arms shaking from the stress. "Ok ok," Ross shouted from behind the rock, "Stop!" The man lowered himself and clasped his knees and he let out of a series of exhausted breaths. "That's good, for now.."
Ross stumbled slightly, landing hard on his right foot after his attack failed to connect. He spun around and face Bruce, eyeing the chains that connected his trio of pillars for a moment, before one of the giant hunks of rock flung itself towards him. He rose his hands instinctively, cross-guarding the giant mound of stone and re-applying his stone-skin as he did so. His feet skid slightly backward, but he ground to a halt shortly after, preoccupied with the sudden block. Ross felt his torso contract as the pain from his earlier injury surfaced again, and his left leg began to tremble slightly, but he was still able to keep fighting. Ross stepped back slightly and attempted to regain his composure...
Ross's blade sailed through the air, and he shifted his left foot with its momentum, quickly spinning to face the oncoming golem. With a single motion, Ross tossed his blade through the air, allowing it to crash into Bruce's colossus, with enough force to shatter it into several pieces on impact. Straight afterwards, Bruce popped up nearby, and Ross set himself into a direct sprint towards the man with his right hand held low, ready to fling out at a moment's notice. Ross' blade however, upon losing its speed and striking the ground, disappeared, and left behind a spiny burst of rocks, shaped like an exaggerated thistle ball. Ross opened his next assault with a left hook, or that's what it may have appeared as, as first. His agility in close combat, already somewhat formidable, had increased further. Ross halted his left fist and dug his right foot into the ground, once again pushing the ground beneath Bruce towards his right foot, which was now flying at him from below.
Ross stepped forwards, allowing Bruce's pillars to smash against him harmlessly. The Gaian's stone-skin made blunt-force attacks that didn't pack a whallop relatively useless, heck, it made most physical assault in general useless. Of course, Jenso and his friends weren't exactly normal. Ross adjusted his blade and began charging towards Bruce, disregarding Bruce's newly summoned ally and wielding his weapon aggressively. Now, he went for a swing, allowing his spires from earlier to dissolve into dust. Suddenly his speed seemed to spike, and his skin lightened slightly. Had he lied about being slow? This style of attack was completely unlike the bulky bruiser! As he landed on his right foot, the same step that aligned with his sword strike, the earth beneath Bruce bent towards Ross at an angle, attempting to offset Bruce's footing and force him to slide into Ross's blade.
Ross' blade and Bruce's collided head on, leaving Ross to come out on top with the assistance of his grounded stance. But Bruce's blade was not shattered or thrown away, it was merely knocked aside, forcing Ross' right arm to reach leftwards across his own chest with the momentumn of the swing, and upsetting Bruce's midair balance with the sheer impact behind his blow. With his free hand, Ross aimed beneath his right arm, towards Bruce, and fired a single spine of crystal towards him quickly, like a small bullet, while he re-oriented his stance and pulled his massive blade back into a defensive position. The spire around him began to converge on Bruce's location as well, aiming to surround him as quickly as they could manage.
