People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

"Hypocrite..? You don't know what that word means, do you?" Yzeira asked, ignoring Jenso's attack as it struck a translucent barrier of red energy. His eyes followed Jenso regardless of the flames that slowly encompassed him. One of the spheres at his side shifted into a spear of red energy, matching Jenso's attack in size and shape, before flying towards it. As they collided, the Ki spear exploded as predicted, and the red spear of energy began to home in on Jenso. The slower orb continued to follow Jenso, slightly faster now, but still relatively easy to avoid. "Typical ad hominem. Your approach is brash and thoughtless. I've made a clear observation of you over the past week, and fairly detailed analyses of your comrades. There is no conceivable way for you to even hurt me, let alone come out victorious."
The orb twirled on impact, but continued to move forwards slowly, majorly unaffected by Jenso's attack.

"Coming here without a plan was idiotic. You and your little league of pretend heroes are idiotic. You should have taken my offer while you had the chance."
"You're quite fond of baseless assumptions," Yzeira started, conjuring three more orbs around his body, "Aren't you?" One of the 6 orbs floated towards Jenso's body slowly, spinning rapidly as it did so. "I've acknowledged your silly little friends for their strength. It is a simple matter of comparison to disregard them as nothing more than an annoyance."
The desk shattered into thousands of shards and burst into flames. Jenso's mother jumped backwards and took several steps away, taking shelter behind one of the many pieces of ornate furniture in the room. Yzeira stood still, allowing his barrier to intercept anything that flew his way. As the papers on the desk scattered and burst into flames, he sighed.

"Under what pretence do you assume any chance of victory against me?" He stood up and began to build energy within his body, pushing the chair behind him aside. "Adarine's death was a misfortune, and an occurrence of utter chance. Compared to the rest of my family, she was no more than a trickster disguising her weakness behind gambits and giddy quips. Please, enlighten me. Tell me exactly how you plan to win?" Yzeira huffed, and three orbs of energy emerged from his torso, floating around his body slowly. "I have a Lok'Sha capable of shattering the fabric of space time with his very fists, a man who can manipulate time and inflict logically impossible amounts of pain with his magic, a void wraith who can jump between worlds like it's nothing and inflict incurable disease on any who she touches, a Primeirian scientist who can directly incapacitate any measure of power you're able to muster," He paused to raise a hand to his chest, "And I myself- I am far more powerful than all four of those creatures combined. The very same creatures that are currently giving your friends more trouble than you're worth. I'll ask it one more time. What do you have? How are you going to win?"
"As tight as one's schedule could feasibly be, I'd imagine," he mused, pushing a piece of paper to the side, and pulling another from a stack to his left. "Why do runners bother with finishing the final lap in a race if somebody else has already come in first? It's a nightmarish concept, pride. It pushes silly little do-gooders like yourself towards wall after wall. You can only suffer so many concussions before your brain starts to..." He rose his hand and tapped the side of his head, "Shut down."
~ Chapter 196 ~

This Is My Process

Jenso was making headway with his companions holding off his other foes. But the staircase that lead upwards, hugging the edge of the tower, was beginning to seem like an endless, monotonous trap. But before it could dull his spirits, the stairs finally came to an end. He reached a level floor, with a single pillar in the middle of a massive circular room, similar to the lobby. The pillar had a rectangular doorway leading inside, but despite it's narrow size, the yellow-gold brilliance of its interior was much larger than what seemed physically possible. It was a portal to another room.

Inside, he Yzeira clearly visible sitting at a desk with his back facing the doorway. His back was straight as his hand scribbled away at something on the elegant desk. As Jenso approached, he didn't turn. Inside the room, rows upon rows of books lined the circular walls, leading up the wall endlessly. There was no ceiling within view. It just seemed to go on forever.

On the other end of the table, Jenso's mother was sitting with her back straightened as well. She glared at the masked man, not noticing Jenso at first, with her hands firmly pressed against her lap.

"Please don't touch anything, Jenso," Yzeira grunted lazily, scratching something off the side of his paper.
Rajaka smirked and tightened his entire body. "Good try," He grunted, "Now let me show you something..." His aura suddenly flared up with an excessive amount of energy that climbed upwards, closer towards the sky.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

~ End Of Chapter 195 ~
Rajaka Braced himself against the attacks. His skin turned grey, forcing Jeff's blade to land glancing strikes at best, shallow cuts that barely bled. Mid-combo however, Rajaka's body released an erratic pulse of energy. A visible golden flash evaporated the incoming nanobots and pushed Jeff's followup attacks away. The energy radiating from his body seemed more focused than with attacks like his Rajaka bomb though. It was controlled, and pulled inwards, almost as if it was pushing down against his own body.

"Oh... Oh, there it is..."
Rajaka grunted and shrugged off Jeff's comments. As the bullets cam close to him, he let out another flare of Ki, disabling them instantly and pushing nearby obstacles back a bit further. "You really think you're all that fast, kid? That only quick thing on you is your stupid ass mouth. But I gotta admit, the fact that you're not dead yet has gotten me a little fired up!" Rajaka lowered his arms for a moment and closed his eyes. Then he braced himself, like thousands of pounds of pressure were suddenly pushing him towards the ground. But he didn't make a sound, or emit a great deal of energy. "Let me show you something really rad." Rajaka held his pose and opened his eye in a sudden flash of energy that engulfed his body. Then, it disappeared. His blinked a few times and grunted. "Wait, give me a second..."
Rajaka looked up and rose his arms, blocking the first explosion and shrugging off the second. The bullets that struck his legs pierced deep, but he stood firmly and ignored the wounds in his joints, swatting away the smoke in an immediate search for Jeff. Then he spoke, and gave himself away. Most of the spheres that followed Jeff exploded on contact with the debris, leaving only a small portion behind, all of which still chased him back towards the crater. Rajaka grunted and creased his brow, clenching both hands angrily. He looked down at his hands, unfurled them and groaned.

"That fast? That was some weak shit after all," He muttered, looking back up at Jeff. The wounds in his legs quickly sealed themselves, and any burn marks along his chest and back disappeared. At the homing spheres behind Jeff closed in, they began to blink and fade, losing a little speed. "If all you're gonna do is run away over and over, I figured it would be a lot more productive to find your stupid friends while you're bailing on me." He clenched his fists and glared at his wrists. Rajaka kissed his teeth, trying to keep them from grating against one another.
