Bugger, and I thought about posting a "I'd like to join" when I was looking at this before class.

If any of the above drop out, would you mind if I threw in my submission? It's already ready.

To contact the Librarian? You're gonna have to ask KoL since they control the Librarian.

As for figuring out how the Relic works? He can just mess around with it. It works only for the first person to touch it. Just know that it will possesses him with the spirit of the Relic's essence (one of the Seven Heroes who stopped the world's last Shattering).

So, only Ruxen can use it? She was the first to touch it.
Considering Monkey doesn't like killing people, I suppose I'm hunting relics again. :P
Blithe had just set both her hands on her shield to readjust her grip, and so she withstood the shock of the shoulder ram, giving ground with her arms a little, but maintaining her footing. Both her arms were trapped between their bodies, no room to maneuver or stab again. This left Blithe the only option of attempting to push back as hard as she could, ramming her own right shoulder forward into the shield a beat after Gunnaya's momentum was absorbed. She pulled her left hand free of the shield on impact, meaning the shield would likely fall away as the clash finished.

Blithe planned to cut from her upper left to lower center, while stepping back with her left foot. This was a cut and not a swing, the hilt being pulled back and centered to prepare for another strike, limiting the strength of the blow but Blithe was always one to prefer a one-sided victory and not an exchange of deathblows, loath to leave herself open. But, if Gunnaya was not pushed back, there would be no room for such a maneuver, and she would instead attempt a pommel strike along the same angle, while keeping her left hand free to grapple, hand close to her chin, fearing an attack from her right.
Oh, bugger! Forgot completely about this, my bad.
Měihóu Niángniang

Měihóu pointed Chen in a direction, before skittering off in that direction herself. The spider left, the legendary relic seized, Chen in the apparently very competent hands of Ruxen, the plot and stew thickened. Now all that needed to be done was assure she didn't end up inside a wolf-girl's belly.

Měihóu made sure to stay close enough to keep an eye out, but hopefully a little further away and out of sight to avoid Ruxen giving chase again.

Měihóu would see Ruxen's entirely capable of keeping Chen safe at the point, what with OHKOing a legendary relic enhanced rhino, so I have a hard time imagining her doing anything but "Squirrel Away!" But that would result in two stupidly short posts in a row... A moment while I think of filler.
Nice, I'm ready to be a-social and punch things.
So seeing that Chen was weakened and @The 42nd Gecko apparently doesn't feel like writing more than a single line, I ended the rhino fight early. We're most likely going to do a time skip since people seem to have lost interest in this/aren't putting in effort.

Aw man, I had a super fun idea for swooping into save the day and buy time as soon as we were actually in trouble, but I wanted to wait until we were actually in trouble to do it.
The Sacred Blacksmith.. I remember watching the first episode and going, "The main thing I liked was when the female romantic interest decided to stand in front of an attack for male character who can actually do stuff, instead of holding her arms out in a Christ metaphor, she covered her face with her hands so that she could tank it like a boss with her actually relevant for once armor."
