@TheWindel I had been working on my list of "awards", and she won the Machina "Totally deserves to get to do something awesome but never has." And sadly, Tartys got the Angel's. I really like both of Flamelord's characters, but they seem to be barely above Miyu tier in "gets to do stuff". I mean, Tartys got to kill Sliske once (but Omega stole the scene with his gun-pass-down and fireball shooting shenanigans). But.. That's kinda it, as far as I can remember.

Zyata's not got much going on and Miyu is the deads, so you guys can probably skip me indefinitely.

@Inner Demon You might wish to look at Balrog, another character who was a machine augmented demon.

We even had another demon who was converted into a machine, who left.

@Inner Demon Maybe it's just because I'm a cat person, but having a permanent life companion attached to you before you can get to know said permanent life companion is a bit... sudden. I can imagine that would make it difficult for you to find a willing player.

Usually when people roll such symbiotic characters, they play both the host and the symbiote themselves as one combined character.

@Inner Demon I'd like to remind you that I am NOT a Thread Owner or GM. I give my opinion freely, and people keep taking my opinion as more meaningful that it is.

For example, I'm pretty sure you've got the go ahead from one GM so far, so you need to wait for KoL to also give the go ahead. You can't actually start roleplaying yet.

Also, if you don't like that I don't trust you just yet, by all means, throw that Beast at someone else. You're not restricted to me just because someone suggested it. You could wander around looking for an owner.

@TheWindel Eh, I've got other characters. And, the gifts were still fun for me to think up, even if as a whole it failed at cheering Miyu up.

@Inner Demon Well, I'd say the best way to do so would be to stick around for awhile. Have your character actually play for awhile. While you might match up with Miyu, who knows, you might find someone else you like.

DVa away. She even explodes her mech, then calls in another one as her ultimate move.

As far as symbiosis... I hope you don't mind me saying this, but we've had a lot of people apply then drop after 2-3 posts, and I wouldn't want to tie my character up with yours that intimately until after you've proven you're sticking around.

Veitaru and Gruncle Jaege

"Well." Jaege set his hands on his hips as he took stock of the room, nodding slightly as he swept his gaze over the sight before him. "I've not seen a room so uninviting since I stumbled into Cander's honeymoon."

Veitaru seemed to be focused on the cabinets, particularly the one that remained closed. She didn't dare approach, but she kept a frightened focus upon them.

"No worries friend, I've got your back. I'll, eh, throw this or something if there's something." Jaege started with a reassuring tone, which became more of a vocal shrug as he realized he didn't have a whole lot to cover his ghostly companion with. But, hey, a big metal torch thrown hard enough could do some cover, and Jaege could certainly throw it hard.

Presuming nothing jumped out at them while Lev levitated to check things out, Jaege would spot a standard hylian shield and sword. "Well, if no one minds, I'll borrow these." Jaege addressed the skeletons in the cells. The shield was like a buckler to a man of his size, and the sword seemed short in his hands, but they were nonetheless still heavy iron and at least worth their weight as bludgeoning instruments.
