@KoL So, you're saying that Monkey's powers are ALREADY too powerful, even barring light or nerve gas. I can understand barring those, as I was trying to establish a higher power level for her capable of at least interacting with general level threats instead of just raising up her hands and saying "I Surrender" every time someone points a tome at her. But I feel a bit surprised at the opinion that Monkey was already too powerful without that.

I thought her only meaningful contribution to any scene has been giving Titania a lift to and from locations, and kicking one old guy in the balls while he monologued. I'll admit, I still enjoy that latter one, but I don't feel I've exactly been dominating the roleplay. Have I been overshadowing people without knowing it?

@TheWindel Well, I already sent KoL a message that said something along the lines of "I was gonna transform into light" and they haven't responded back. Not sure how more to discuss it on my end.

@TheWindel So, my original plan was turn into light for a tiny tiny fraction of a second to get through the barrier, then turn her staff into nerve gas to paralyze Farris and the others, then proceed to run into Si and co as they escape Zealot is fine via a plot standard?

Just depends on whether KoL wants light to be able to bypass the invisible barrier?

@TheWindel Ok. So, does the barrier extend underground? Can I try to escape that way? Or should I stay there? You're saying it's ok if I escape, but also that I should sit there and wait for the plot to happen, which one of those takes precedence?

@TheWindel So, is this the point where I say "I feel like I'm weak enough that I can't affect how the plot occurs." and you say "It's your fault for picking a weak character." again?

If I'm not supposed to escape and should just stay there, just say so, and I'll have Monkey sit down and shut up while Alex does his thing.
