@Mega Birb I will not take your offer. Establishing Syphax can just willpower through Alexi's aura sets a really horrifyingly bad precedence, given that most people she would want to use it against are reeaaally strong.

Alexi's plan: After maximum power is stored up, drop Aura and Avalanche Strike Ira's face off, if this doesn't work, she's probably dead already.

So, if for some reason, both Alexi and Ira are still alive after that clash, sure, Syphax can join the fray. I'm betting he's going to be fighting the winner though.

@Mega Birb I don't really have a firm grasp on how fast a real swordfighter is. But I do know you'd have to travel a couple hundred feet through "speed of light is 8 feet/second" territory before you reach the battle. Alexi's not gonna last that long unless Ira toys with her.

@Mega Birb It also applies to Light and Space. Probably around 7-8 feet a second for things that move at the speed of light, like Light and Space. The curve of how hard it is to approach the speed of light is warped within the radius, so stuff like the rain is probably going about half a foot a second, superspeedsters like Juno could manage 2-3 feet a second.

@Mega Birb Syphax does not have any means by which he can bypass Alexi's power, until when it stops because there is a hole in space where her torso used to be. See below. You literally cannot intervene unless you've got more powers up your sleeve then are on your bio.

Inviolability of the Mountain Peak- This creates an aura which places a "maximum speed" on all physical objects within a short distance of Alexi. Bullets become dodgeable, allowing martial combatants with the skill to parry arrows the potential to parry bullets. Momentum is however left intact, because magic says so, so the objects become no less deadly. If something enters then exits, it resumes appropriate speed.

@Mega Birb Uh, you're gonna have to intervene really fast, through an area where the max speed is a foot or two a second, before Alexi explodes in a shower of slo motion gore.

@TheWindel Probably just wishful thinking on my part, I just wanted to see all the attacks whiff when he takes one giant sized step to the side. Even the missiles from above would just fall through the hole Grafdakka made.

"You honor me with your attention. The whispers are quieted simply by your presence. I wonder if they are eager or afraid? Usually both..." Alexi's disposition had instantly changed when Ira touched down. Rising from the now barren pool, Alexi's eyes focused upon her opponent. As Alexi raised her blade over her head, an overhead aggressive power stance, the rain of water slowed, matching Ira's walking pace. To one gifted with vision into the underwriting laws of reality, one could see that the very maximum speed of the universe was slowing around them. To one gifted with vision into the flows of time, one could see that Alexi's personal time was "freezing", the flow being blocked up.

Her bare foot played across the surface of the pond, dragging across a tiny puddle of water not raised into the air, before pressing down into the earth in firm footing. "I am Alexi, Knight of Winter." Her stance would provide no protection from an upward slash from a drawn blade, as Ira's might be, but at the same time, a sheathed blade was ill equipped to handle an overhead strike as Alexi was poised to do. It was as if Alexi was challenging Ira to a sword duel of a single strike.

There was little more to say as a warrior.

@TheWindel But what if he was going to dodge by switching forms instead of tanking all those hits? You just established that all the other attacks were hitting but not dealing damage. Did you guys already chat about this?
