Appearance
At first glance, Fumiko seems like a perfectly harmless person with her ginger fringe, large, green eyes and freckled scattered over her nose and cheeks, but that mischievous glint in her eye and the small smirk almost always present on her lips are not to be mistaken.
She usually keeps her hair either in two messy buns or in a high ponytail.
Her body is lean, bordering on skinny, and although she does have some womanly shapes, a loose sweater could easily hide her sex from the world.
Her sense of style ranges greatly from cute summer dresses with a variation of flowers on them, to ripped jeans, net shirts and knee-high boots, depending on her mood.
She stands 5'5” tall and weight around 150 pounds.

Personality
+Loyal
Fumiko is loyal to a fault, whether or not the person she is loyal to deserves it or not. Any one person who she feels actually sees and accepts her for who she is, she wants to have in her life forever. She will go to great lengths to keep a friend in her life and is more likely to put herself in danger to keep them safe, then to keep herself safe.
+Imaginative
Fumiko is good at finding solutions for problems in creative ways. She has a very vivid imagination and in many cases sees possibilities where others see problems. “Don't work hard, work smart” is her favorite quote and she tries to live by it.
+Discreet
Mostly, this is just a fancy way of saying that she can be sneaky. Both in conversation, where she can burn someone without them ever realizing and in action, where she is quite skilled at sneaking around. Mostly, it just means that she is good at saying something without ever actually saying it.

%Dishonest
She probably does not mean to lie as she does, but things just come out of her mouth without her accept. Most of the stories she tell are greatly exaggerated, if not just downright lies. You can never really trust in her word, because she would lie about anything and never even blink at it.
%Insecure
Fumiko needs constant verification form others that she is, in fact, good enough. Her insecurity is the whole foundation of her personality, as this is what urges her to do things that might not be so smart, because this gets her attention and verification from those around her.
%Rude
Fumiko more times than not, lacks a certain filter between her brain and her mouth. She says whatever she thinks, without censoring herself in any way. This oftentimes leads to her saying things that might not always be socially acceptable to say to another human being.

Quirk
Smoker's Breath
Fumiko can create, shape and manipulate smoke. Smoke is commonly an unwanted by-product of fires, with smoke inhalation being the primary cause of death in victims of indoor fires. The smoke kills by a combination of thermal damage, poisoning and pulmonary irritation caused by carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide and other combustion products. The heat of the smoke can actually cause the fire to spread, without the actual fire ever touching the new area.
Fumiko can manipulate the density of chemicals and the amount of smoke that she spew, but not where the smoke goes. Smoke will naturally move upwards and will dissipate outside or in well-ventilated areas.
As a side effect to her quirk, Fumiko is immune to smoke poisoning. She can still get cancer, COPD, heart diseases and other cool stuff linked to smoking, from her cigarettes. She can get asphyxiated by her own smoke as well, as she needs oxygen to survive just like anyone else does.

History
Unlike most people who end up as the rats of society, Fumiko does not have a sad and terrible story of how this came to happen. She was a normal child, growing up in a normal household. Her parents loved and cherished her, showering her with affection and giving her everything she ever wanted. Her father was a banker, working 7-4, while her mother had a part-time job at the local daycare four hours each day.
Dinner was on the table at 6 each and every night. Fumiko's clothes was always returned to her closet washed, folded and color-sorted. She did not even have to clean her own room; it was always cleaned when she came home from school.

Then, one day, when she was in the eight grade, Fumiko met someone new. It was a boy. Hormones were raging, puberty was at its high and soon, she had a very prominent crush on this boy. Only problem was that this boy was bad news. He grew up in a  much different way from herself. His life, to her, had been exciting. He had been through so much and only came out stronger on the other side and Fumiko was lost in the deep, blue seas of his eyes. It did not take long for her to start her way down the path that would eventually lead her to her own damnation.
It all started with a kiss. All soft and sweet, like a girl always dreams that her first kiss would be. Then came the loitering about with his friends. They were bullies. They were drinking and smoking. Fumiko showed them her power by taking a drag of a cigarette and blowing out smoke enough to completely engulf the entire group. She got a standing applause and blushed when the boy she was not quite yet sure was her boyfriend yet, told her that her power was amazing.
It took only weeks from meeting the boy till Fumiko was part of her very first actual illegal activity. It was not really illegal, her maybe-boyfriend had comforted her before. Fumiko did as she was told, blowing smoke in through the vents of the drugstore. As expected, the fire alarm sounded and people were rushing out. The confusion and the screen of smoke was just enough for a few of the guys to sneak inside and fill their bags with goodies.

Things only escalated from there. She helped the guys many times, stealing from stores, shaking people down for money they supposedly owed one or another member of their little gang and once even punched a guy in the gut. Smoke inhalation torture is a surprisingly effective way to make people act according to how you want them to.

Ambitions
Fumiko does not really want to be bad; she just want her life to be exciting and actually worth telling stories about. She wants to be that type of person who always has a story about everything and has people in awe at how great she is. Actually, she just wants people to be in awe with her. She wants people to like her. Deep down, she probably just wants herself to like her.
