Job: Antonio does every job he can get his hands on to care for his family. Most of the time however he works at the docks, carrying crates or sorting papers.
Religion: Roman-Catholic
Background: Antonio was born in a rural area of Sicily to a poor family. He was the fifth child and never got much attention. His father was a drunk and his mother, a rural beauty, had more than one lover on the side. Antonio always hoped that one day he would give his family a better life. He fought one year in the trenches of World War 1, however had the luck to survive till it was over. When he was 19 he married his long time love Maria, a also very poor Sicilian girl. She got pregnant not very much later and gave birth to what would be their only child, Anna Favaloro. Even though Antonio had no real education, he did have a problem with Mussolini when he rose to power and since they had nothing left in Sicily he decided to leave. When they left Antonio was in his early thirties and his little daughter just turned eleven. They took the next ship to America to start a new life.
New York was the greatest city that Antonio ever saw. The part where they lived however was crowded, dirty and poor. So Antonio started working day and night, while his wife Maria cared for their daughter. that went on for 7 years, till Maria fell ill. Antonio never feared anything as much as loosing his precious family, and was willing to do everything for them. And that is where our Story begins...
Talents: Antonio knows how to handle a gun from his time in the war. His most useful attribute however is his intellect, he is quite smart and his open and mostly happy character helps him to make new friends.

America in the late 1920s. On January 17, 1920 Prohibition began in America, and it is still in effect. The fact that Alcohol is illegal doesn't stop the people from demanding it. Bootlegging gives rise to big criminal organisations.
On the same time Waves of immigrants crash to the shores of New York. Benito Mussolini and his fascists cause thousands of people to flee from Italy, bringing with them their culture and heritage. Also great numbers of Jews want to escape Nazi Germany.
It is a time in which crime is higher and more profitable than ever.

The Idea of the RPG would be the rise of a small time criminal in the Prohibition Era to one of the major Crime Bosses of New York.
Everyone would write one, maybe two Characters.
Some people could write Cops and Detectives interfering with the Criminals, if good honest Cops or corrupt ones that are basically Criminals themselves is your choice.
The Characters should be fleshed out, with nationalities, story's and backgrounds that fit in the Era and personality's that change over the course of the RPGs.
Anyone interested?
