I'm just your average New Yorker. A guy who thinks he can do more than he ought.

Perfectly said. However, I intend to kill two birds with one stone. I'll address Catarina and Wes, in one post, wherein, Omero, who can freely engage Artemisia on conversation, but I don't think Artemisia would trust him enough no matter what he said to leave the company of good cheer, food and excitement. Then, that would leave either of you the option to respond directly back to me (: or carry on elsewhere. The point of our collab basically is for an introductory dialogue between the two of our characters. Or I would at least assume :

I couldn't have of a better solution! Well done.
@MacabreFox
Out of curiosity, were you planning on having Artemisia respond or react to Wes or Catarina in your post? It's just going to be really awkward if she and Omerdo go off on a tangent while they're just standing there.

Its a matter of how they write it. Honestly, it seems like these conversations could realistically be addressed with a "thank you," and a shy nod.

RPing is a collaborative medium. And, certainly, outright ignoring the dialogue of others is rude. But we have to consider the interests of others as well. If a player feels like their character wouldn't engage heavily in a certain discussion, and does so respectfully, we ought to respect that. A silver lining in the whole business is that you and SirBeowulf can spark up a conversation of your own.
And then Warren was the only guy surrounded by a squad of girls.

Do robots count as bros?

I saw the make-up of the crew, and knew that I couldn't bail you out. A woman dominated team was too much to pass up. Fem Power!

Edit: 1000th post!
And posted. TAKE IT. TAKE IT YOU DIRTY SLU-

Not only will I take it, I'll thank you afterwards. Well done. I can already see a slap in Wes' future.

@The New Yorker Ok (: I was just wondering. Oh I don't doubt that our morale will be down by any means. If anything I'm excited to get another round up of posting!

Don't feel any pressure to wait for anyone else. There aren't organized rounds of posting, so feel free to get whipped up in you inspiration. As I should have said at the beginning, collaborative posts are encouraged!
Here is my application! Earlier than I even expected it.

I don't want anyone to feel like this character is born out of ego, or a desire to run the show. I started making her and just realized that she would make a very good leader. Let me know if that's a problem.

nah, its nice to see ya

I was mostly talking about some of the people who haven't spoken up since expressing interest. But I can't be held liable if the shoe fits
I'm interested and applying. Unlike some of the other seemingly interested parties, you can expect a CS out of me by tomorrow, and a dedicated RPer to the end.
@TheWizardLizard has unfortunately left the RP, and so has been removed from the cast list. I appreciate your contributions, and your respectful timely withdrawal.
Actually, I have no problem incorporating DD into the story I want to portray with Fisk.

Sorta my point.
@The New Yorker Any idea as to how long our characters will be on this ship before reaching Morocco?

Roughly a week in story time, probably less. As for rounds of posts, it depends on the PC's. How long does everyone want to be here, how long does it take to respond to certain situations we come across? My best guess is 4-5 rounds of posting, but that could be wrong. I generally don't like answering questions like that because they're impossible to answer accurately.

More importantly, whenever someone is asking it, it's not a good sign for morale. I assure you, there will be plenty of things to keep us busy while on the open ocean.
