One of my favourite parts of Fallout 3 was Big Town. Helping out a small settlement, building its defences and attracting more settlers was fun, and made me feel like I was actually impacting the Capital Wasteland. The prospect of building multiple entirely new settlements from scratch, and customizing them to my liking, is something that I hadn't thought of before, but that is now my most anticipated feature for Fallout 4. I cannot wait for November 10th.
is there anything I absolutely need to know about starting my own thread in this style of role-play?

Yes. Don't do it.

If you have never participated in an NRP before, I highly recommend joining one before starting your own. GMing an NRP is a different monster entirely, well beyond the normal "GMing is a huge hassle". It is essential that you have experience being on the other side, the side of the players, first.
"this is like fucking /r9k/ on turbo waow" - Doivid 2015

"this guy can't exist in reality" - Smiral 2015

"is this his waifu? what the fuck" - Doivid, 2015 (again)

Do either Doivid or Smiral actually post?
@mdkA friend of mine puts Stannis at #2 on her "please die" list all because of that scene, just below Ramsay.
The only thing that bugs me about Ramsay is how the showrunners made him inexplicably superpowered.

The torture scenes and psychopathy don't impact your opinion at all?
Unique does not mean good. Even so, as uniquely unappealing to the ear as Nicki Minaj's voice is (even before it becomes incomprehensible as human speech after electronic overproduction), her actual music, taking everything into account besides just her voice, is anything but unique. Any one of her songs is indistinguishable from any of the tracks of her contrived 'rivals'.

Actually, I take back that last sentence. As musically terrible as Lil' Kim and Iggy Azalea are, nothing is a more perfect demonstration of the fact that 'unique' and 'good' are not synonymous as hit single Stupid Hoe.

As long as Ramsay Snow is flayed to death before the end of the series, I will be content. I don't think I've ever had so much personal animosity towards a fictional character before.

Yes, but if you look at the words before system, she’s rhyming booming with cooling.

The system part is supposed to be attached to those, thus making booming system rhyme with cooling system.

Why doesn't she put emphasis on the words 'booming' and 'cooling', then, instead of 'system'? Maybe I just can't comprehend her properly because of her shrill voice and the excessively profane, meaningless lyrics of every pop monstrosity she's ever unleashed on the unwitting public.

@Taaj No conspiracy here. Pop songs all sound alike. That's the result of laziness, not an elaborate Illuminati brainwashing plot.
Rhyming 'system' with 'system' and singing about selling dope.

Truly the finest poet of our times, and a window to the human soul.
