Star Wars: Coruscant Underworld [Always accepting!]

"Isn't it beautiful, Zolar? All of these visitors are here in our greatness, a show of the Cartel's greatness."

Zolar looked around the large room, filled with at least a hundred people. While he would much prefer looking through a scope deep in the wilderness, the Cartel was something of urban royalty on 3030 and he supposed there were worse jobs. A Rodian approached Gorro, a fiery look in his eye, hand in his pocket. Zolar couldn't help but be amused and whispered to Gorro in Huttese "Get a load of this Nerf-Herder." The Rodian stopped in front of Gorro, his hand shaking in his pocket and yelled in Rodese ":This is for my brother you slime rat!:" Zolar moved incredibly fast as the Rodian yanked out his blaster pistol. The Gank grabbed onto the rodian's shooting arm with an iron grip and twisted it to the left, hard, causing the Rodian to scream in pain. Zolar then sent a knee into the alien's crotch, which caused the assailant to bend forward. He finished it off with a devastating elbow to the Rodian's spine, dropping the blue alien to his knees. Spinning around, still having his arm in an iron grip, he twisted it and pulled out his blaster pistol. He was now behind the Rodian and aiming his weapon at the back of his head, the foolish alien's arm slowly being fractured by Zolar's strength.

The Rodian begin to cry out in pain as his arm was being accosted until Zolar snapped ":SILENCE!:" in Rodese, which quickly shut him up and he was reduced to a small whimper. The rest of the room had gone silent, watching the scene. Zolar looked up to Gorro, saying in Huttese "Would you like me to kill this worm?"

Appearance:
Victor stands at five feet, nine inches. His face matches his age, with wrinkles and creases adorning his face. An ample white beard adorns his face. White, unkempt hair razes atop his head. Within his small eyes, there can be seen a dark brown hue. His eyebrows are thick and add a sharpness to his facial features, culminating into a serious, straightforward, if a little wizened expression.

Weapons and Equipment:
-Crossbow: A crossbow of simple construction. It is worn from its use on the battlefield, but still fires as true as the day it left the armory and into Victor’s hands.
-Knives: A set of 5 knives that Victor carries on his person. They each vary in design and construction, as they are also souvenirs of Victor’s travels.
-Doctor’s Bag: A bag containing basic tools necessary for speedy medical intervention.
-Leather Armor: A light set of sturdy armor that provides ample protection for those on the move.

Skills:
-Medical Knowledge: Years of training and study have given Victor the know-how to properly treat disease and maintain health. Combined with a lifestyle of travel, Victor is quite the field medic.
-Small Arms Proficiency: Though his training included many types of arms, Victor preferred to stay unencumbered to maintain speed and concentration on the battlefield, both as a combatant and medic. As a result, he has expertise in weapons no larger than a shortsword.
-Crossbow Marksman: Victor’s skills often meant that he was relegated to the rear of any formation. As a result, he honed his skills to operate optimally in his position and now possesses familiarity with crossbows.
-Perceptive: Being perceptive has been a critical skill for Victor, whether it be locating the source of a major hemorrhage in a soldier or spotting said soldier in the midst of battle. His senses have been trained in order to ensure not only his survival but those of the group as well.

Flaws:
-Aged: Experienced as Victor may be, his age is beginning to show. Victor is not as strong as he used to be, much less than that of many of Hyrule’s warriors.
-Aloof: If there’s one thing that Victor needs to work on, it’s his bedside manner. Victor is not the best conversationalist and does not often put the effort in closing the distance between him and the people around him.
-Love of Money: Being a part of a merchant caravan has instilled Victor with an inflated sense of the value of rupees. He is motivated by pay and looks to eke out the most rewards for his services.

Bio:
Victor was just a young kid when Hyrule was saved, but the daring exploits of the Hero of Twilight forever left a mark on Victor’s mind as he grew through childhood. Born and raised in Castle Town, Victor was constantly exposed to tales of adventure and people of diverse background. It was during this early period where Victor’s ambitions led him to be a fighter just like the Hero of Twilight. At the age of 21, he enlisted to become participate in the Hylian-Gerudo War. When Victor returned home, he was disillusioned, the stories of valor in battle replaced with the real experiences of war. Victor lamented the losses suffered and the actions taken by both sides of the war.

Wanting no further part in the Hylian army, but possessing few other skills than his battlefield experience, Victor became part of a travelling mercenary guild contracted to protect merchant shipments for the ever expanding Malo Mart. Victor also refused to just repeat his experience as a mere soldier on the battlefield; he began to study medicine, hoping that the knowledge would enrich him, maybe to help him take one further step to becoming the hero he dreamed of.

Victor would go on to travel across Hyrule and distant lands as soldier, studying physician, and mercenary for the coming decades. Over this period, Victor saved numerous people, from merchants to villager to travelers; but each casualty suffered took its toll on him. He began to tire of dreaming of heroes and glory, finding that rupees, green or silver, were becoming the only things worthwhile to come out of his travels. The disappearance of the Hero of Twilight could only cement the dissipation of romantic ambition.

Now that Queen Zelda is summoning heroes from all over, and rumors of a danger that threatens all of Hyrule looms over, Victor’s mercenary guild assigns him from the caravans of merchants back into the Hylian army. This time, Victor has more experience, more knowledge, more skills, and yet, mixed ambitions. He’s ready to seal his contract, but somehow he feels there’s something more, something familiar that’s driving him back into the battlefield.

I'd like to express interest in joining this, if you're still accepting players. Would it be possible to make a Shiekah (as I think they'd be most suitable for a "monk" type character) even though in Twilight Princess it seemed like they weren't really around any more?

ehhhh, I like to go by Twilight princess pretty closely as it has been only 40 years. I suppose you could make one, though they wouldn't have all the complete skills of Shiekahs from OoT. They would probably be one of the last Shiekahs.

Skills: -Skilled Dual-Wielder: Kyros is savvy and attuned to his go-to primary weapon choice. Although his two-sword style in unconventional and mostly self-made, Kyros can compensate for a lack of a shield with the ability for sword play from both hands at once.
-Competent Ranger: Kyros can hurl his boomerang with reliability in winds, in motion and even against moving targets.
-Expert Espionage: Growing up alone in the Desert force Kyros to be good at taking what he needed as it would never be given or gifted to him. In addition, he became good and concealing his identity, tracking, gathering information or rumours. He has a knack for setting and spotting traps.
-Skilled Vihuelist : Kyros is pretty savvy around a guitar, especially vihuelas. He will probably never play specifically for other people, but it's clear that he could make a decent living as a travelling bard in another lifetime.
-Parkour: Kyros nimbleness comes from his seemingly erratic movements and ability to bend and move his body on unusual pivots and in unusual manners.
Flaws:
-Self Centred: Kyros has never been given a good enough reason to commit to anyone but himself and because of that, he will put self-preservation before anything else.
-Distrusting: Kyros is quick to presume that everyone else in the world is out to get him and has a tendency to predict negative actions from other people by inciting his own first.
-Incomplete Fighting Style: While unorthodox, Kyros's fighting style is limited by it's lack of development, which traditional fighting styles use to wean out weaknesses and flaws.
-Short Tempered: Kyros refuses to let things go. It doesn't take much to incite a reaction from Kyros and he makes an effort to give more than he gets. To him, it makes him look weak if he doesn't react and stand his ground at all times.

Bio: Kyros's story began the day that an assassination attempt was made on the Queen of Hyrule. One of the Gerudo assassins, gravely injured, escaped capture as the scheme had clearly been counteracted. She made it out into the fields of Hyrule where in her seemingly dying moments she came across a mysterious travelling salesman. The salesman, having no apparent reaction to her wellbeing, offered to sell her anything she might desire. The woman, believing the man to be mocking her as she was about die, replied with the word "satisfaction, by my own hand, or the blood of my kinswomen, even if it kills me". The woman awoke, in a hideout at an uninhabited part of the Hyrule fields. The hideout was barren, but the assassin noticed that her wounds had been tended to, but she always had a baby bump and almost instantly went into labour. Being alone and confused, the assassin gave birth in great pain and distress. When she gave her final push and birthed her child, she took a glance at the baby and caught the freight of her life when she realised it was a boy.

As she lay in terror, blood and tears, the owner of the hideout entered abruptly, hearing the squeals of the newborn. He had no idea who the woman was, but happened to appear in time to hear her whisper "Kyros-Ganon" delusionally while drifting out of consciousness and dying. The owner of the hideout, a bandit and thief took the boy and disposed of the assassin's body, looking to make use of him. Not realising the importance of a boy in gerudo lineage, the bandit raised the boy, giving him the name Kyros, chalking the "ganon" suffix to the woman's insanity. The bandit raised the boy to be an outcast, limiting the likes of affection and love for loyalty and obedience. His ways were harsh and unrelenting, using punishments and abuse to keep Kyros in line. Kyros learned to hate the closest thing he had to a father figure and when he was twelve, Lay in bed whispering to himself begging to any god or other being that would listen to him for this to end. A man appeared to Kyros and the youngster couldn't tell if he was dreaming or not. The man explained that he was a salesman and said he could offer Kyros anything he wanted. Kyros wanted to know who he was. The salesman then sat down and informed Kryos of a story regarding meeting a wounded Gerudo female on th day an attempt was made by the gerudo on the Queen's life up to the birth of a child stolen by a bandit. The salesman went into impossible depth, such as explaining that her last words were Kyros-Ganon and the lineage of Gerudo men within the tribe. The way the mysterious salesman told the story suggested that woman was taken advantage of by the bandit leading to her pregnancy and eventually killed her when he took the child.

Kyros recognised that the man was speaking of him as the baby and realised that he was the Gerudo boy in question. Feeling confusing and uncharted emotions, Kryos became mad and rampant and murdered the bandit he believed to be his father. Kyros disappeared into the desert searching for truth, closure or a sense of belonging, but only found rejection, stigma and hatred even from what should have been the remnants of his own people. Hearing about the call for warriors, Kyros is enticed by the opportunity for diplomatic immunity and the opportunity to be a royal citizen of her majesty's high council, caring little for the task at hand, Kyros enrolls in Zelda's request as a mercenary looking for his rewards.

Lydia Ordon

Lydia stands at 5'6 and has a slim, but strong physique. She's not incredibly muscular, but a life of hard work has made sure she's fit enough to tangle with the best of them. Her ears are pointed and her eyes are ocean blue. She has short blonde hair. Even though she's 32, she was gifted with youthful looks. Her battle attire is more like this than that of the picture. It has no sort of Jewelry on it. Her sword is this. She also has a bow and quiver, which looks like this.

Weapons and Equipment:
-Longsword- A custom made longsword crafted by the Ordon blacksmith.
-Bow and Quiver- A bow and quiver made by Lydia herself.
-Leather Armor- A set of Leather Armor brought home by her father as a souvenir from the Hylian-Gerudo war.

Skills:
-Skilled Swordsman: Due to training with her brother and protecting Ordon, Lydia has become a skilled swordsman.
-Expert Archer: Lydia has spent her whole life training with a bow and arrow.
-Bow craftsmen: Lydia learned how to build a bow in her teenage years.
-Competent Rider: Lydia can ride a horse as well as anybody.
-Leader: Being the mayor of Ordon for 9 years has taught her a thing or two about being a leader.

Flaws:
-Prideful: Lydia is a very proud person and she would rather die than be insulted.
-Calculating: Due to her years running Ordon, Lydia has become more calculating and is willing to let a member suffer, including herself, for the good of the group.
-Inexperienced: While a trained fighter, Lydia doesn't have the experience of soldiers or mercenaries. She's fairly new to the whole adventuring thing.
-Reckless: Though she can be thoughtful, in the midst of battle she often takes risks that are dangerous or unnecessary.

Bio: Lydia was born to the daughter of the mayor of Ordon, her father a rancher. She had a brother who was three years older than him. Her childhood was spent ranching goats and learning about The Hero of Twilight, who enthralled her. From a young age, she showed to be a natural leader, often leading the other children around town on adventures and imaginary quests. She started to learn to shoot a bow and arrow when she was 6. Her father taught her the finer points and she took off, proving to be a natural. Her father was called to Hylian-Gerudo war, feeling it was his duty to Hyrule to join. Against the wishes of her mother, he marched off to war. At first he returned every 4 months, but as the war raged on, he was absent longer. Towards the end of the war, he was gone 9 months at a time. He returned for good when Lydia was 9. But Lydia, even at that young age, could tell he was a changed man. As the years went by, her brother began training to join the army. She would spar with him in the fields with the goats and while she never beat him, she got quite good herself.

Her brother left for the army when she was 13 and she soon learned after, he earned a place in the Queen's Personal guard. It was around this time her grandfather began to teach her about running the town. She was a quick learner and he knew she would end up mayor one day. When Lydia was 14, her father came home one night and told her and her mother that her brother had been killed protecting the Queen. She cried herself to sleep that night. She began training with weapons harder after that, becoming better each day. The Forest Guardian, Ordon was killed when she was 18, something her father was extremely opposed to. 2 years later her mother became fatally ill. Her father rode to Hyrule to beg the Queen to use a magical item to heal his wife. She refused. Lydia's mother died a week later. Some months later Lydia's grandfather stepped down as mayor and she was elected. Around this time, her Father told her that he was going on a trip and he didn't know when he'd be back. He left and she never saw him again. She ran Ordon well and made her grandfather proud. When she heard that Queen Zelda was calling for warriors, she knew the Queen might know where her father went, as they personally knew each other. She left her grandfather back in charge as she rode towards Hyrule Castle.

Warriors of Hyrule [A Fantasy Drama Odyssey]

40 years ago, a young man now known as the Hero of Twilight saved the Kingdom of Hyrule from being consumed by Shadow. After which it is rumored he returned to the town of Ordon, which back then was just a village. A statue was built in the middle of castle town at the request of Queen Zelda. Over the years, several threats to the kingdom has risen and was cut down every time by the Hero. Another threat is looming on the horizon and many people can feel it. One of the biggest threats since the Rise of Ganondorf, not like the armies of other nations or threat of a creature wiping out a village. This is much more than any of those. And this time, the Hero is nowhere to be found. Some think he sensed it and went to confront it. Others think assassins killed him long ago, the last time him being seen in public 14 years ago.

Rumor has it that Queen Zelda has summoned warriors from every corner of the Kingdom and even foreign lands to investigate this new mysterious threat...

As you might have guessed by now, this will be a high casual role-play based in the LoZ Universe, taking place 40 years after the events of Twilight Princess. In this role-play, we'll be exploring morality, war, and the effects of being called a Hero. The cast aren't heroes or even consider themselves heroes however, they are warriors, soldiers, and mercenaries called on by Queen Zelda to prevent a Kingdom wide disaster. There will be a cast of 6-7 characters at most, I won't put on defined roles as I find that limits the player's creativity. I hope to create an epic and moving story with you, the players of the guild.

Locations and Factions of Interest

The Town of Ordon

Once a small village and the rumored birthplace of The Hero of Twilight, Ordon is a bustling town deep in the woodlands of Hyrule. Trade to and from there is common and many move there to get away from the fast city life of many settlements like Castle Town. It is famed for it's beautiful forests and seamless integration with nature. The Hero of Twilight himself built a ranch in the hills of Ordon, supplying many people with the finest horses in Hyrule. A small statue of a young Hero of Twilight resides in the center plaza. A figure in local legend is the Spirit of Ordona, A spirit of Light that looks over the forests around Ordon.

Faron City

The gateway to the woodlands of Hyrule at the southern most point of the Southern Hyrule Field, Faron City is a place of music and art. About 6 years after Hyrule was liberated from the threat of Shadow, A group of artists left in protest of the populace ignoring culture more and more. They started building their homes on the edge of the Faron Woods, many of them thinking it's a beautiful place of seamless transition from plains to woods. With help from Ordon, they established a secure foothold and begin learning and adding to the culture of the area, making major contributions in art and music. To this day, Faron City is a must visit for any type of artist.

The Town of Lanaryu

A wonderful example of how species and cultures can interact and blend together, Lanaryu is a small town built around Lake Hylia, where Hylians and Zoras live together in harmony. Many come here to meet Zoras, participate in the plentiful fishing, visit Lanaryu's Cave, or simply take in the beauty. Many of the buildings extend onto the water itself, though mostly Zoras live there. This is referred to as the Aqua District. Lanaryu is the light spirit of the Lake and has a shrine in the water cave over the water.

Castle town

The biggest city in Hyrule, it is a melting pot of culture, diversity, and wealth. If it exists, you can find it here. This is the center of diplomatic and military activities, where 95% of the Kingdom's military is trained. Species of all kinds live and work here, Gorons with their exert craftmanship of weapons and equipment. Zoras with exotic jewels and goods. And even maybe a Gerudo or two, working as guards or vendors of exotic equipment. Over the years, Castle Town has moved away from it's very culture and tradition centric society towards the wealth and progress, expanding even more over the years from it's size 40 years ago.

The Zoras

A species of aquatic humanoids, The Zoras are known for their love of nature and respect for waterways. They are also known for their cooperation with other species and craftsmanship of exotic gems. Though rarely seen in battle, Zora Spear Technique is famed for it's effectiveness out of and underwater.

The Gorons

Natives of Death Mountain, Gorons are known for their craftsmanship of weapons and battle ferocity. Their diet consists of rocks and metal. Those who do not live on Death Mountain or in Kakariko Village are blacksmiths or mercenaries throughout the kingdom.

Gerudo Desert

Home of the Gerudos, not much is known to most in Hyrule, as they cut off contact after Ganondorf was killed. Those who are in Hyrule are usually hostile who anyone won't pay them. Gerudo bandits are a common occurrence across the plains.

History and Recent Events

-Faron City was founded 6 years after Hyrule was saved.

-The Hylian-Gerudo War
10 years after The Hero of Twilight saved Hyrule, the many clans and tribes of the Gerudo desert united with on objective: Take over Hyrule. The now Queen Zelda begged The Hero of Twilight to train and lead the Hylian Army to fend off the invaders. He agreed, turning to the rudimentary Hylian fighting force of 100,000 into a force of trained soldiers of 130,000. It was a brutal seven year war, sometimes the Gerudo pushed far enough to the walls of Castle Town and other times the Hylians pushed the Gerudos back into the center of their own desert. Many horrible things were done by both sides of the war. Many find them as simply distasteful, unless they have experienced them themselves, which most never did due to the Hero's brilliant tactical mind and prowess in battle. Either way, the war finally ended when The Hero of Twilight killed High Chieftess Limiti in her own Palace. After the fact, the clans broke off, blaming each other for the death of the High Chieftess. The Hylians returned to their own lands, however now with many outposts and castles in the Hylia Mountain Range between Hyrule and the desert.

-Assassination Attempt of Queen Zelda
22 years after Hyrule was saved and 7 years since The Hylian-Gerudo war came to an end, a small group of Gerudo assassins infiltrated Hyrule Castle and attempted to kill the Queen. Her personal guard met them with Loyal ferocity and defeated them with the help of The Hero of Twilight, though 2 guards were killed in the encounter. It is rumored that one of them was The Hero of Twilight's son.

-The Death of The Forest Guardian, Ordon.

For many years, it was written in legend that the Light Spirit Ordona had a physical counterpart that resided deep in the forest as a guardian. It is debated whether the creature that awoke from over 7 decades of hibernation was related to Ordona, but it awoke. Queen Zelda, fearing that this massive and powerful creature would destroy Hylian settlements, ordered her army to kill it and requested The Hero of Twilight to lead the charge. He refused. Against his wishes, she ordered her soldiers to march to the woodlands and kill the creature. The Hero stood in their way, protecting the creature. But there were too many soldiers and he was overrun. They killed the creature. Enraged by this, The Hero of Twilight disowned the Queen and forbade her from entering the woodlands again. A year later, he disappeared from the public eye.

-Queen Zelda summons warriors to Hyrule Castle

40 years after Hyrule was saved and 14 years since the death of The Forest Guardian, Queen Zelda summons Warriors from all ends of the Kingdom to her castle. Rumor has it there is something brewing on the horizon, but the Queen doesn't know what. These warriors are supposed to investigate.

Towards the end of the war, he was gone 9 months at a time. He returned for good when Lydia was 9. But Lydia, even at that young age, could tell he was a changed man. As the years went by, her brother began training to join the army. She would spar with him in the fields with the goats and while she never beat him, she got quite good herself.

Her brother left for the army when she was 13 and she soon learned after, he earned a place in the Queen's Personal guard. It was around this time her grandfather began to teach her about running the town. She was a quick learner and he knew she would end up mayor one day. When Lydia was 14, her father came home one night and told her and her mother that her brother had been killed protecting the Queen. She cried herself to sleep that night. She began training with weapons harder after that, becoming better each day. The Forest Guardian, Ordon was killed when she was 18, something her father was extremely opposed to. 2 years later her mother became fatally ill. Her father rode to Hyrule to beg the Queen to use a magical item to heal his wife. She refused. Lydia's mother died a week later. Some months later Lydia's grandfather stepped down as mayor and she was elected. Around this time, her Father told her that he was going on a trip and he didn't know when he'd be back. He left and she never saw him again. She ran Ordon well and made her grandfather proud. When she heard that Queen Zelda was calling for warriors, she knew the Queen might know where her father went, as they personally knew each other. She left her grandfather back in charge as she rode towards Hyrule Castle.
