Are there any current Roleplays that fit any of these topics? I looked a little, and searched, but couldn’t find anything that wasn’t years old.

If there isn’t anything currently, would anyone be interested in this topic?
I would be interested in running something, if there is enough interest.

So excited for this!

If anyone is interested, here is the manual for the Seattle PD- it outlines stuff like dress code, proper haircuts, and what equipment to carry. Might help some people put their characters together!

That is an awesome source, Poly! Can't wait to see these CS!

I'll have a CS up later tomorrow for the Chief of Police - NPC I'll be controlling to interact with you guys.

Sleuth Report: Seattle

That is awesome. I'm definitely liking that.

What's everyone else think about that? Any other suggestions from anyone else?
Looking forward to this game, but should we make characters?

I will get a CS put together shortly. Like I said, I have to sit down and see how many people we could realistically fit into the story, without cramming too many into it that there is not enough for all parties to really participate enough to keep everyone interested. There's a lot of thought going into this, so just bare with me on some things, if you all could. I want this to be a very enjoyable experience for all of you, as well as a lasting one.

So I have decided on Seattle as our setting. I have a map which we will be used throughout the entirety of this RP. The map will be used to indicate where crime scenes are located, suspect locations, friends and family, Police HQ, and any other story relevant information. I'll provide the map in the OOC when I get it up.

Now, onto more suggestions! I am trying to come up with an original name for this RP, opposed to just something like "Law & Order: Seattle", or "True Crimes", etc. So any suggestions for names of our RP are encouraged! Once we have a name, I believe I would probably have enough information to at least get the OOC going, and put up a CS Template for you guys to get started.

Let the suggestions begin!

Again, I want to thank you guys for all the interest! This is going to be really exciting for me!
Is there still space? Because I'm sooooo into this!!

When I get the story figured out for our first case, I will see what we have to work with as far as Player Characters. I want to be able to work everyone in, because I appreciate the interest! If I can't get everyone in the first case, I will definitely work them in the next case!
Seattle was actually one of the top in my head. Not too much spotlight on anything there, but quite a bit of potential.

St. Louis is an obvious choice for crime, but too much spotlight with the Ferguson stuff. Houston is a little too big, and Detroit is too generic. Philly wouldn't be a bad choice, though.

I am leaning toward Seattle, though. I'll do a little research on Seattle and Philly, the crime rates, locations, etc. If you, or anyone else think of anywhere else to check out as well, definitely let me know.
