Name: Talan Val'Shirai

Personality: Talan has had a hard life. The world has taken much from him and so he has developed a very cynical view of the world. He prefers to be on his own unless it is not the wisest of choices to make and when in a group he acts as the stern caretaker. While he does come off as cold he does care for others if they manage to gain his trust. If you've somehow managed to do that you've gained a friend for life.

History: Talan is from a far off land, a mix of desert and plainslands. His mother Varri and his father Na'Kael were members of a nomadic tribe that farm wherever they are able and live off the land. His father would often take him along on hunting trips when the tribe settled somewhere(though he never hunted himself only carried the supplies). When not hunting with his father he would spend time with his mother farming the land and the two shared a very close bond with each other. One day when they were out hunting Talan and his father were attacked by a hostile tribe, Na'Kael managed to get Talen to escape before he he was killed but by the time Talen had reached camp it had already been attacked by the enemy tribe. His mother was killed in the attack and so Talan was left an orphan. While still a member of the tribe he was forced to fend for himself as the surviving members moved on. He continued to live with them as an outcast to this day.

Aaron hadn't been too far from camp and noticed everyone heading over to the campfire. I guess I'll continue looking tomorrow...wait where's Kido, Aaron spun around but Kido was nowhere to be seen, "Kido! You there man?", he called out into the forest but to no immediate reply. I guess I'll have Hex go find him...but he's with Kido too dammit...wait a second!, Aaron quickly held out his hand and began to search for the presence of magic in the area. With luck I should be able to find him soon.

"Nightshades, which are poisonous, I need them for the potion", Aaron said with a grin "With the right ingredients to counteract it I can get the effect I need from it. But for you what you need to be practicing is collecting components with healing properties. Look for Dartwing, a sky blue plant that kind of looks like a thin wheat. Also look for terrawart, it's a orange mushroom. Get about three of each of those and we can start marking potions" Aaron found a few more nightshades and turned back to Kido gesturing for him to hand him the ones he gave him earlier, "Hex, help Kido find what he needs would you? Don't make it too easy for him alright?" Hex have a hum of agreement before flying around the area in search of the ingredients.

Aaron turned around to find Kido with Hex behind him, "Hey Kido, right now I'm looking for ingredients to use in a potion I'm making, once it's made it'll be used in a ritual I've been working on. But for you I figured I should teach you some alchemy since it does have a role in restoration. With the right ingredients you'll able to create healing potions and a whole bunch of other stuff" Aaron knelt down to pluck a flower by his feet, "So how it go with the wards?" He asked before handing Kido multiple flowers like the one he picked up.

Shiro studied Aaron's features for a few moments, ponderingly. Gauging his reaction. Furrowing her brow, she nodded slightly, the action slight and almost discernable. "I don't think I would know," she replied by means of acknowledgement, relaxing once again as she looked away from Aaron and towards the many pastries and cakes on display, all of which were tantalisingly out of reach, protected by a glass pane. She signalled towards the food, "but I'm sure it won't be edible. Want one?"

Aaron shrugged approached the display, "Sure why not, I'm sure I got some cash on me. What do you want? My treat" He needed to clear his head, I could use a drink he thought as he looked to the person behind the counter, "Hey can I get a coffe with French vanilla and my friend here will have-what do you want?"

"Wah! So fas--!" Kido didn't have much time before the light was right in front of him, so he did the first thing that came to him. The moment he had changed into his other form, he felt the impact from the wisp toss him a good few meters backwards. As soon as he recovered, he sat up from his place in the dirt and shook his head to clear it. "Aw...I messed up again. But wow, Hex! You're strong!" Standing up, Chibi-Kido took a moment to brush himself off and looked over to Hex again. "I'll have to try again later, I guess. It looks like I'll need some more practice before I get it right."

Hex made a high pitched humming sound similar to laughing before flying off to find Aaron leaving a trail of blue light for Kido to follow. Aaron in the meantime was looking over his spellbook for what the ingredients where. So I need twelve nightshade petals, six Ilia Tamyn, and four-ugh-blood worms, once he memorized what he needed Aaron began to look around for what was on his list.

The voice continued to implant thoughts into Aaron's head until he was brought back into reality by another voice. He jumped slightly before realizing where he was, "Oh hey, sorry I was..thinking about what my familiar would be. I'm fine though just a little anxious ya'know?"

A sound began to eminate from Hex, almost like he was charging up before bolting towards Kido at an alarming rate. The wisp left a trail of blue light behind him as he dart across the field towards Kido.

Hex released a hum of approval as he flew away to prepare to charge at Kido. Once a good enough distance away the wisp began to chirp as if to tell Kido to signal when ready. Aaron at the time was busy putting the final touches on the plans for his project. Okay so let's go over it one more time. The ritual requires a potion of a balanced dosage, a safe place for the body, aaand the spells. Let me just go over them again...looks good, now all I need are the ingredients for the potion, he thought as he got back up from where he was sitting. Before he went off to find the ingredients for the potion a thought entered his head, Alchemy does have a place in restoration, I bet Kido would be interested in it. "Hey Kido!", he called out, "I'm going to get some ingredients for my alchemy, wanna come?"
