The Centaur and The Bear

Talan said nothing as he stood with his back leaning against the frame of the door listening to Gnarl. Despite the insluts to his people Gnarl was right, the Kahldari did constantly war and pillage...and he loved it. There he knew his place, he knew the land and how to live there. This was a strange land unlike his own, but perhaps this could prove equally beneficial to the both of them. Once Gnarl had concluded Talan looked up from the ground where he stood towards the Bear, eyes void of emotion he spoke, "I've not been in your lands long enough to know it's workings but I know that wealth is key to getting what you want here. What I want is a ship home but I obviously have nothing of value...what I do have is an offer for you. Your kin seem to be preparing for war, something I have more than enough experience with. Let me fight with you and in return for my service you provide me with a ship"

Talan knew he'd have to sell himself better than that. This was something he was not particularly good with. Back home if one wanted something he'd take it, if someone wanted it or had it already the response was the same. Trade was rare in Rannos outside of the civilized cities(which were in few numbers and seperated from Kahldari territory). Here it was different: deals had to be made, trust had to be gained, and a certain level of persuasive speaking was needed. All these obstacles, Talan wondered how they got anything done.

"...You are fighting an enemy that is accustomed to fighting a certain way. A type of warefare, like in Kahlar-Rannos, would confuse and prove to be a challenge to their forces. Give me with the equipment I need and I can promise you I will give you fearsome warriors. There is a reason why you kin have not conquered my lands", satisfied with his explanation the Centaur looked away from the Bear and around the room as he waited for his answer.
Aaron had been working non stop on creating his cabin. After multiples attempts-all of which he failed at-he gave up and simply sat there watching Hex as he flew around everyone making loops and spirals as he went along his way. I wonder...maybe Hex wouldike that, he waved for Hex to come over and once he was close enough he said, "Hey let's try something. You know that thing we were working on for you? Yeah I think we should try it" the wisp gave off a chirp of approval as Aaron opened his spellbook to find what he was looking for. There it is. Alright let's see if I can get this right the first time, Aaron raised his hand towards Hex before chanting the incantation in the book. Pale blue ribbons of light began to form around Hex as his orb form began to grow exponentially in size and shape. From a simple orb Hex began to take on the form of a large wolf while still maintaining it's ethereal, partially transparent look. When the spell was complete Aaron stood back to examine his changed friend. "...not bad if I do say so my self. My magicka reserves aren't decreasing at a rapid rate. You could be like this as long as you want bud!" Hex let out an excited bark only unlike a normal bark it seemed to echo, not out of volume but by some other means. "How about you go and tr out your new body?" Hex sprinted away and into the woods.
Sorry for disappearing on everyone like I did, it's been weird these past few weeks. I'll try to post as soon as I can.

Yeah I think a territory change would be best. As for changes, none comes to mind at the moment. As far as I can see the RP is fine as it is.

I'm still here
Dante had arrived back at camp and stumbled into Aaron on his way. "Oh hey how's it going?", Aaron said as he extended his hand. Aaron noticed something was off about the boy, he never met him before maybe he was new or he simply hadn't seen him since arriving at camp.

"Hey..", Dante replied, not really in the mood for conversation.

"Wait a second...are you a vampire?", Aaron asked with mild enthusiasm. Dante's eyes widened slightly, no one had been able to figure that out as fast as he did.

"How could you tell?"

"I've dealt with one or two, it's pretty cool how you guys have your own species and stuff, I'd be all up for that sort of stuff if i didn't have to drink blood and all. That's pretty gross"

"Yeah well it's not a choice for us"

"Whaddaya mean? Of course it is dude"

"Excuse me?"

"Well vampirism is a form of necromancy right? Basically using your body as a courier for that dark energy. I've done some...experiments and for some vampire species I can I guess cure them of it. Takes a lot of work thou-"

"WOAH WOAH WOAH, you can cure vampirism?!"

"I uh yeah sure I guess, but like I said it takes a lot of work", upon hearing these words Dante began to form a plan. One that could prove very beneficial to what would come later tonight. That is if the plan worked.

"Oh, alright then. Good bye." Branch said as he left. Of course he didnt actually leave. He left behind a Clone of himself, and made it walk towards Isabella. " Oh I didnt catch your name, and if you wan I can help you dig for this artifact," Branch said putting up a fake smile. Whatever she was looking for intriuged Branch. He felt that it at least had to do something with acquiring the ultimate power, and if it did he would like to fight it. The other Branch began walking back to camp, knowing that someone must have already found Ivy. As he was walking along the lake he found a boy on a log. He carried him over to the grass where he layef him on the ground. He attempted to wale him up. "Oi, are you awake?"

"Oh that's not necessary, it shouldn't take me long and I work better on my own, no offense I'm just not good when it comes to telling people what to do. It turns into a mess pretty quickly when I do", she replied. Come on, get out of here. I can't waste anymore time with you!, she thought. If Dante found this place it'd be all over pretty fast. For now she waited till Branch would leave and place a marker on the dig site then return to the others.
"Talan, rem ti miasa?! Za set nami'ata kahlan! Ti nossar fin'tuur!(Talan are you mad?! He is our leader! You cannot do this!)" Kiata begged her love but to no avail.

"Guara nam(watch me)", he replied without another word as he started for the tent exit.

"Ni ar'sar errvas? Losat pal nami'ata kahn? Ti jorah athana kavi ti oros famal ehlgar!(Am I not enough? What of our child? You have everything but you still hunger for power)", this stopped Talan. A brief moment of silence came over the tent before Talan spoke again.

"Ar shova tenam nami'ata kahn virtamin harim pal Kahlan tul harim pal sheriit(I would rather our child be born son the son of the clan leader than the son of a clan member)", Talan did not wait for a reply. He left the tent immediately for the Kahlan's tent. Kiata only whispered to her self, "Dirtha, sheretti...minnos fin'tuur(Come back, my love...don't do this)" Little did this know Talan heard this and thought about it for a moment before continuing on his path...things would be different had he stayed.

Returning to the present Talan snapped out of his daydream to see the castle in the distance. He had been riding for quite some time, he had passed the Tyne River not so long ago and was approaching the entrance to the castle. The dream of returning home seemed more and more of a reality as he slowed down at the entrance only to find the portcullis opened. Strange, after an attack like that you'd think they'd lock themselves in and prepare for another attack. This was of no concern to him however as his only thoughts were of getting home. He signaled his horse to enter the castle and he found himself face to face with Rand and Wren. "Are you the Queen's Guard? I demand to see the Queen!", he demanded as he rested his hand on the handle of his sword. If they weren't the ones he was looking for he guessed he wasn't welcome here and would have to fight he way out if needed.

Branch looked at her and put up a fake smile. He knew that there was something up, but he did not know what. He put his hand over his mouth, while whispering somthing. He was prepared to make a clone of himself in case things went south. " Oh Artifacts huh, somethings like scepters, and chalices, things with the ultimate power huh. So what artifact do you think youve found?" Branch asked suspisiously,

Isabella faked a laugh, "Haha nothing so fanciful, if anything I hope to find maybe someone's belongings from a time long ago. But should it be actual treasure that would be quite a pleasant surprise wouldn't it" perhaps if she kept at it a bit longer he'd leave. If not she'd have to make him a thrall or-if it came to that-a vampire.

As Branch was running through the woods trying to to reach Ivy, he found a girl in the clearing of the woods. He looked like she was digging to bury something. He jumped off the tree and walked towards her. "Hey can I ask what you are doing? " Branch asked curiously.

As soon as she heard those words something snapped in Isabella's head. She had been working so hard to find this place and she was not going to let anyone stop her now. You could kill him, bleed him dry then hide then body...no no others will come looking. Perhaps...yes that will work. Turning to face Branch she put on a smile and her best act saying, "Oh hello there, I've been looking for artifacts, trinkets, things of that nature. It's a hobby of mine and if I've done my due diligence there should be something buried here"
