Young Justice; The Heroes of Today! [IC and OOC]

"Good evening, our top story tonight is the bank robbery that occurred earlier today in downtown Happy Harbor. A group of armed men entered the building in an attempt to steal from the bank's vault which contained hundreds of thousands of dollars. Police reports say that while the men were inside a bank security guard and an officer were both shot and killed in an attempt to stop the culprits. It was only when members of the superhero team Young Justice arrived that most of the suspects were apprehended however one of them who was suspected to be the leader, the masked criminal "Orb Weaver" managed to escape with a portion of the stolen money despite the efforts of the Young Justice team. The police say they are working hard to find this man and urges anyone with information on him to call their local precinct immediately. In other news the serial killer, dubbed The Meta Hunter, has claimed their sixth victim. Authorities found the body of Lucas Peyton in a dumpster this morning after reports of a foul stench like that of something burnt was detected. Lucas was a metahuman with a history of assault, larceny, and some ties to a small time metahuman gang. The city police have warned all metahumans to travel carefully at night as The Meta Hunter appears to be active around that time...", Josie turned off the tv. "Are you kidding me?! I'm The Pariah not "The Meta Hunter"!...maybe I should make a video or something to tell them...". Her apartment wasn't luxurious but it was nice enough. She and gotten off work early and was supposed to meet Sera later tonight. The police will probably be amping up the search for me..I'll need to hire help", she thought before opening her laptop. "Alright let's see who we got...", she was looking through a list of contacts she had to see who she could pull favors from. "I could call Jason...no wait nevermind. Barns? Nah he's busy. Last i heard he was helping a meta at H.I.V.E.", she searched through her ljst of contacts extensively before giving up. "Alright them I guess I'm working alone for a while...".

I'm so tempted to make the Pariah post but I want to wait till it's actually night...wait I have an idea.

Welcome To H.I.V.E

Shane was somewhat reluctant to accept Violet's help. He didn't want to hurt her or worse, his biggest fear was a repeat of the warehouse and as of now he wished he never got this curse. "Thanks Violet, but if it's all the same to you I'd rather not bring you into this. I did some searching and what I found...let's just say I'd be happy never to use my powers again", a look of despondence was on Shane's face as he turned towards the training room. On his was there anger began to rise in him. For so long he had been fine using his powers, it made him one of the best thieves in the business and now when he comes to H.I.V.E. to try and refine it, he loses it all in the first day. He needed to hit something. Hard, and the training room was just the place. Once inside he unsheathed Riya and took a stance against a training dummy. The sword was held back as if it was a shank ready to be thrusted while his free hand seemed to block. With his free hand he elbowed the neck of the dummy while Riya pierced the torso. He grabbed the head and pulled it down as the blade came up again and slashed the face, then another slash to the torso before receiving a fierce kick to the head. The dummy's head fell off but it wasn't enough to quell Shane's anger. He tackled the dummy and repeatedly plunged Riya into the torso before getting up for what would be his final move before moving onto another dummy. He picked up the severed head and threw it towards the wall. While it flew Shane sent Riya after it and the blade met its mark in mid air and the force threw the head and pinned it to the wall. "...God dammit!", he yelled before walking over to pull Riya out of the head of the dummy. Despite that show of force he was still unsatisfied. He knew without his powers if he wanted to be worth a damn he'd have to be at the top of his game and this meant training himself and accepting notrhing less than perfection, which in his eyes was never possible.

Aalright so basically part of the Young Justice team interrupted a bank robbery, Nair of the culprits were apprehended excluding Orb Weaver who at the moment is talking with Bolt, Luke, and GA. GA is believe is thinking about whether or not to switchbsides to baddies(I think) and Orb Weaver and Bolt could be forming a duo.

Then it all works out, so let's say this started at like oh I don't know 10am. Would be it be good with you guys if we time skipped to perhaps 5pm or so? Enough time for the villains to get their thing together, GA to have an existential crisis, and the team to hang out.

Well instead of time skipping by days or weeks why not just past this point in the day. We it would mean enough time for GA to think, establish whether or not Warren and Jacque are a team. And still give some time in the day for the Young Justice crew to interact.

This has actually been bothering me, are we having equal number of heroes and villains or can the number of villains out number heroes? Because in shows like Young Justice or Teen Titans they had almost an unlimited number of villains(unless my memory of those shows is garbage, and it probably is, and they had a set proportion) As for orb weaver I think he shoudl get away since we got most of the bank robbers leaves the group with someone to look out for in the future.
