It appears I have quite a bit from my escape from the asylum. You get a straight jacket! And you get a straight jacket! Everybody gets a straight jacket! *tosses straight jackets in random directions*
@ArkmageddonCat

I might have a spare laying around somewhere..
The waiting...it hurts. But I shall restrain myself. If anyone needs me i'll be in my straight jacket.
I'm lovin' "World So Cold", feels like the intro to this RP if it was a show.
Cole had paid the cashier when an unfamiliar voice spoke to him, "I hope you remembered to roll down the window". Cole glanced at her then out the store window to the car. He chuckled, for the first time in a long time he actually displayed an emotion other than anger. "He should be fine, hopefully he ain't a mouth breather. That bike yours? It's nice", He usually didn't talk much with Regulars unless he had to but this one seemed alright, after all she did manage to make him laugh a little.

Cole exited the store but not before checking her out one last time, "Nice tattoos by the way, lovin' the gun" was the last thing he said before walking away and entering his car. He looked over to his new partner and with his usual sullen look said, "Alright listen up, last time I had a group shit got bad so before you assume we're good pals think of the next couple days as probation. If you survive by then your in, if not..if you give us away, sell me out, or slow me down I'll kill you myself. Got it? First question, what's your gift? Second, how long have you been on the run? Third, what's your name? And fourth...what do you think of tats in there? She a hunter? She mentioned you in the store".

Well as for the powers what if we each had these personal "questlines" that at the end grant us powers based on who we are.
Cole hadn't been driving long when his car signalled that it was low on gas. "Son of a-", it wasn't a matter of money that angered him because he had a good amount. What bothered him was that he had to watch his expenses at all. "These regulars have it so easy they don't even know it", he thought as he pulled into a gas station. The regulars think because we have gifts makes us all killers, Cole knew he was a killer but that was only because he was protecting himself. Gifted are hunted down, sometimes killed by their own family. Why? Because one day they woke up with a different color eye. He knew other gifted, some of them didn't even have dangerous powers. If anything the hunters should be coming after him and gifted who could kill. Not that he was going to let them however. His life was his own, he was human just like them..he still is human. Until the regulars learned to deal with us properly the gifted would continue to run, hide, and kill if necessary. Hunters were mot the answer.

Cole was brought back to reality and the task at hand. He hooked up the pump to the car and waited for it to fill. Only a few minutes after he did so was the gas tank full and the pump sounded with a ding. "They still have the ding at the pump? Damn this place is older than I thought", he said to himself before looking at the price. "Alright let's check the vault..", he said as he walked over to the trunk of the car. Upon opening it there was a duffel bag filled with cash. Over the years he'd done some...not so legal jobs with less than friendly company. Sometimes it required him to use his gifts but he needed the cash and in the end it just made him stronger for what he needed to face in the future. Cole grabbed the required amount of cash and headed towards the inside of the gas station. Exiting was a man with a good amount of water bottles in his hand. The way the guy chugged down a bottle told Cole it had been a long time since he last had a good thing going for him. He could be a gifted on the run or another homeless bum. Either way there was no certain at to tell without bringing unwanted attention to themselves. Too bad, if he was a gifted Cole would have helped him out. Fortunately Cole did not see the dog shit he was about to step on until the last second, he managed to move his foot out of the way but it caused him to lose balance a little and he his leg brushed against the guy with the water. Suddenly he could feel that he was no longer alone with his thoughts. This guy was gifted after all,"Wait in the car.." he said to water boy quietly before heading into the store to pay. "Looks like I'll have some company for bit"

Running across the bridge Talan watched as the forest became frenzied. Animals lunging into the river below to escape the flames. He thought about doing the same but not long after the waters became rough and surviving the current could be trouble. Over the noise of the crashing waves he could hear Rhea call out to him, "Are you insane? Who is that?!" Talan stopped not because he heard her but because he saw the flames behind Kituo and the figure within the blaze. Growing up he was told of stories about spirits of fire that would kill you if angered. Could this be the reason for the forest fire? Did they anger this fire spirit? It didn't matter because it began to run on all fours and to Talan's surprise it became a panther! "I hate this forest...", he muttered to himself before turning to Rhea. "I know the one who carries that lantern, he is not a Kith", Talan wasn't sure if Rhea believed him and before she had time to answer he continued saying "I trusted you now it's time for you to do the same!"

Talan began to wave for Kituo for him to run over to them. He wouldn't stay long as the fire was still approaching, he waited for only a moment before leading Rhea towards the purple light on the other side of the bridge. This was when he was out of ideas. Another human could be seen approaching them from the opposite end of the bridge but this person he was not familiar with. If it was a Kith he'd take his chances as he'd rather fight a Kith than be engulfed in fire. The gods truly have forsaken this place. He hadn't been running for long when an intense blue light originating from the water has illuminated the bridge and he caught a glimpse of the figure approaching from the purple light. It was a woman, at least it looked like a woman, Talan had no idea what a Kith really looked like. He glanced back to see if the fire spirit was still pursuing them but it had vanished. "One less problem to be concerned with at least", he said aloud although he wasn't sure if Rhea heard that.
A man sat in chair at the center of a room with a black bag over his head. The place seemed to be abandoned and the only light source was from the holes in the boarded up window. The rays of light illuminated the dust particles that floated around the dimly lit room. The bagged man was unconscious but soon awoke to darkness. As one would expect it caused him to become alarmed and he soon began to call out for help. His cries alerted a man outside the room to enter but his heavy footsteps did not comfort the bagged man. "Listen whoever you are just let me go! I won't tell anyone about this I swear to god just don't hurt me!", his pleading did nothing but have his captor remove the bag. His reaction was instantaneous horror, "NO NO NO NOT YOU OH GOD PLEASE NO!-" before he could finish his rambling Cole delivered a punch to the man's jaw. He quickly silenced himself as the pain prevented him from continuing to scream. "Are you done? Good, because it's my turn to talk", Cole took a step back and began to pace around his captive. His eyes locked on the man with a look of sheer hatred and scorn. "I know you've been following me...Terrance Crewe. I know you aren't a hunter and I know you aren't a bad person. I know you lost your family to a gifted and you've become this Gifted-Hunter. In truth I don't give a shit who you are or what you've been through. You are making my life very difficult. In truth I could have left the bag on you and dropped you off at a gas station or something but you'd still hunt my kind....however this is way is more enjoyable for me"

"PLEASE NO NO NO N-", It was too late. Cole grabbed Terrance by the throat and within seconds life left his body. The blood vessels around his neck became black and he seemed to have been starved within seconds. His eyes were sunken in and his face looked as if it had seen the devil in his last moments. When it was over Cole felt an overwhelming sense of euphoria as he leaned against the wall of the room. "One less regular to worry about..", he said as he got off the wall. His business here was done, Cole left the body where it lay and exited the abandoned building. Outside waiting was his car which he quickly got into but before he turned the ignition a thought entered his head. "This is the second time a non-hunter has come after me. Maybe it's time I got backup..., he didn't think about it for long before he started up the car and sped away. He was heading for town, perhaps he'd find a like minded Gifted.
