I always thought Rhode Island was the Midwest of the East Coat and, while living on an island is shitty, you guys just sound depressing.
I'm spending some of today updating my post catalogue and nation descriptors on the character sheet page. I worked out, had a working party, and don't have anything else to do.
You just become into Precipice, which isn't dying so much as a post every week is considered health. Just adapt your thinking to recognize that a post every week is good and not "nobody has posted in six hours, it's dying."

It's been good for over four years (I've only been on for four, at least) so we're chill.
I'm sure that kind of thing is possible, but you wouldn't describe said person as "friendly, bubbly, kind and caring", right? The character I'm describing is not one with deep seated psychological issues, its an apparently "normal" or "nice" person that turns into a LETHAL KILLING MACHINEā„¢ when they enter combat, and they don't pay much attention to the act of killing when they have to do it. I mean, sure, maybe someone would hide their true nature by pretending to be everyone's best friend, but the characters I'm describing are portrayed as perfectly normal yet capable of killing without batting an eye.

I actually know plenty of people like this and I think it's funny as fuck. Unless we're all mentally fucked as a collective in which case it would not be normal or funny.
I'm pretty cynical when it comes to the military's handling of mental health. A lot of my friends suffer from depression and it doesn't appear that the chain of command does a whole lot. They say they do but they don't feel like it. There's a lingering suspicion that reporting it just fucks your career over so it's better to just hide it and avoid getting dicked over for promotion.

I personally have had some issues in the past (and no, not everything is PTSD, dammit) and I really just got over them myself. I didn't really want to talk to the official programs.

Don't even get me started on the VA.
Probably the best reason tbh

That bootyquake is at least a 5.4 on the Rick(Ross)ter Scale

I am okay with this. The Rain is happy.

In addition, CAS is provided by what I basically described to be like a mix between an Hs-129 (a twin engined, heavily armored prop aircraft carrying a YUGE cannon) and a big, mean, WWIIish ground attack aircraft (for the looks, man!) built in Poland. They can grease warlord encampments in Georgia, so why not city blocks in Istanbul?

Also, how does 5.45 price out compared to 7.62 short? I can get 7.62 short surplus pretty much for pennies, because muh Sovietz.
When we getting Helicopters? Do we have helicopters? Armenia needs helicopters. @TheEvanCat!!! GIVE ME HELICOPTERS!!

I've literally posted air assaults into Istanbul. Except we get Mi-8s. And those are pretty new.

Oh snap. I plan on getting some sort of Arsenal AK, 5.45x39 variant. Gonna drop all the dollars to trick that bitch out like this.

Will be glorious.

By the way, I may want to eventually steal the 14th, 222nd, and the 239th from you.

The way I figure it, the 7.62 short is cheap as fuck which is good for a guy who will be primarily shooting over leave as a recreational hobby (I have plenty of cool guy ranges with 5.56 M4s during the academic year.) The AKs aren't even that bad compared to ARs. A lot cheaper, apparently. Plus they're contrarian and I like to be a hipster. I'm not too concerned about accuracy, seeing as I'm not banging anything at extreme distances (this is not a gun for the zombie apocalypse or for when Obama comes to take er gunz) and if I really had to kill a guy at six hundred meters I'd just walk five hundred meters closer or some shit.

Yeah, we could talk about that. You'd just have to be learned up on glorious Armenia.

Shiet mah Nigga, dem Glocks be where it's at. Carry a G22 mashelf. The M9 is Terribad. Let's also consider the Corps M9s are like, 90s stock.

Rhode Island carry laws plus the fact that I'm 19 means that it's gonna be a while until I get anything. Probably some sort of Glock, don't know which yet.

"But I'm in the Armeeeeeh" isn't a trump card I can play in that state.

Although I am buying an AK and tricking it out (my roommate and I are buying matching twinsies PSAK-47s because South Carolina) so that I can blast shit on the island's range. In style.
